SPLC President Richard Cohen’s Letter to DHS

SPLC Tracks More Than 1,000 US Hate Groups

10 Profiles of Anti-Muslim Domestic Extremists

Domestic Terrorism Plots Since the Oklahoma City Bombing

Donate

The terrorist attack that took the lives of so many children in Norway is a sobering reminder that hate and extremism can drive people to commit unspeakable acts of violence.

The problem is just as grave in our country. For the first time, hate groups here have topped 1,000, and the potential for widespread damage is mounting. Just this year, a neo-Nazi was arrested for planting a bomb that could have killed hundreds along an MLK Day parade route in Spokane.

That’s why it’s so shocking that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has bowed to political pressure from conservatives and dramatically cut back the resources it’s devoting to the threat from right-wing extremists. We exposed DHS’ reckless decision in June and have called on the agency to reverse course.

The tragedy in Norway takes me back to the Oklahoma City bombing, the work of a right-wing fanatic that left 168 people dead. Months before that attack, we warned federal officials about the mounting danger from radical extremists. Now, with your help, we’re speaking out again. Too much is at stake to remain silent.

Your voice — your support — is amplifying ours. Thank you for standing with us.

168 people killed in Oaklahoma City but no mention of the thousands killed at the Trade Centers, Pentagon, Pennsylvannia, the Army Doctor who shot up that base out west, etc.. What about them? What about all the white people brutally murdered every year by their black countrymen?

The problem is nothing ever bad happens to the Morris Dees of the world. It is us and ours who are tortured and tormented not them!

There have been a few articles condemning extremists, nativists, those on the right, those who don’t think the right way, even codemning masculitity and the macho culture of patriarchy. Of course always bringing up the evil white man. Most of this is phony of course. . white men eradicated people of color with smallpox instead of western medicine eradicate smallpox. . . women and people of color are always victims, and conservatives always oppressors. . Perhaps this is necessary to keep the white man down and keep him silent and docile (certainly they are compared to criminals – i mean men of color) but it occurred to me reading this one, that was particularly nasty (hateful) and anti-white, that this could be what is causing these kinds of madmen in the first place. Our mental homes are certainly filled with crazy men. Anti-psychotic ‘mood control’ medication is almost a norm. Expect a re-doubling of the effort and more important ‘consciousness raising’.

Even people with left-leaning views have criticized the SPLC for their extreme bias. Articles have been posted on AmRen documenting this.

The fact of the matter is that conservative terrorists are very rare. Most terrorists nowadays come from an Islamic background. The reason why the SPLC doesn’t take note of these obvious facts is because it isn’t profitable for them.

Based on Morris Dees article, no doubt many of you (like me) are deeply moved and will be phoning in a donation to the $PLC as fast as humanly possible.

But before you do please consider:

The $PLC’s new 2009 IRS 990 filing shows they have a bank account in the Cayman Islands. Now, stop for a good long minute and ask yourself what the hell is a supposed poverty-fighting Alabama-based tax exempt organization doing with such an account. Then ponder this: how much money is in it.

Unfortunately, the IRS does not require $PLC or any tax exempt charity with an account in a foreign country to disclose additional details, such as the amount, and the $PLC’s current 990 filing merely notes the existence of an account in a foreign country. The center’s site reveals neither the existence of the off-shore account nor the total it contains.

Assets for the organization are listed at $190 million, a nice chunk of change in these economic hard times. When was the last time this group, with almost $190 million in assets, did a damn worthwhile thing about, um, poverty?

The latest 990 additionally shows founder and chief trial counsel Morris Dees had his salary raised to $350,000, and his CEO, Richard Cohen, is close behind at $345,000.

The tax filing also shows Dees traveled by air charter, and that his spouse, artist and businesswoman Susan Starr, accompanies her husband on the business trips.

  • Right Thoughts Wrong Actions

The problem as I see it is that the Norwegian man had the right ideas, but murdering a bunch of innocent and unarmed people was the exact wrong action to take. I agree that Muslims are trying to take over Europe and the Americas, and that they should be stopped. I agree that immigration has been allowed to bring us to a point of losing our identity, and needs to be curtailed. I agree that America, at least, WAS settled by white Christians and the Muslims therefore do not belong here. BUT — I do NOT agree that murdering a bunch of defenseless kids was the right way to express those opinions. It was as horrible as the ideas espoused by those kids, and should never have been done.

    Useful translations for this letter.

Thank God this Jack Kemp-sounding nut in Norway did what he did, because with Madoff doing time, my fund raising was in the dumps.

For the first time, hate groups here have topped 1,000, and the potential for widespread damage is mounting.

By this time next year, there will be 2,000. The year after that, there will be 10,000. Five years from now, there will be 100,000. Ten years from now, there will be 50,000,000.

Just this year, a neo-Nazi was arrested for planting a bomb that could have killed hundreds along an MLK Day parade route in Spokane.

Thank goodness the FBI has its assets dress up in funny uniforms and run out there and put suspicious bookbags in just the right places, so I can raise money. If not for that, I’d have to work for a living.

That’s why it’s so shocking that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has bowed to political pressure from conservatives and dramatically cut back the resources it’s devoting to the threat from right-wing extremists.

If they won’t do the job, write me a check so I can do it.

The tragedy in Norway takes me back to the Oklahoma City bombing, the work of a right-wing fanatic that left 168 people dead.

My proudest moment. Bill’s, too — He and I STILL reminisce about our wild celebratory parties after OKC. Hillary would kill him if she knew what he did with that girl…

Months before that attack, we warned federal officials about the mounting danger from radical extremists.

Thank goodness Obama dumped OBL’s body in the ocean. Dead men can’t confess to OKC. It just bugs me to no end that Ramzi Yousef is still alive. I’ll have Obama kill him if I get the feeling that he has developed a conscience.

Your voice — your support — is amplifying ours. Thank you for standing with us.

Hurry up and contribute, just in case we get a right wing President before I die, sends me up the river for all the Federal crimes I’ve committed in the last 40 years, and makes me Yousef’s cellmate.

The SPLC is an extremist left wing organization. Its very possible that the SPLC has inspired many of the so-called flash mop attacks and black on white violence that has been happening lately. With their anti-white, anti-conservative agenda, every time there is an attack the SPLC should be investigated for possible links.

  • WR the elder

Morris Dees is a good buddy of a well known white male extremist terrorist bomber — Bill Ayers. But the SPLC only worries about extremists on the right.

Virtually all amren supporters feel this way, but we will forever be associated with the psychotic murderer by the lying, liberal press. I recently viewed a documentary on the rise of white nationalism. It was produced by mainstream media. In one scene, a Mexican family (women and children) were brutally murdered. The murderer was rumored to be a white member of the Minutemen. The message was, “the Minutemen did this”. The Minutemen is a multiracial, peaceful movement…but according to this documentary they are psychotic, racist murderers. The lying, racist, liberal media is our greatest enemy.

A bigger worry for the SPLC, and sponsors, is the TEA Party revolt over taxes and the debt ceiling. Next Monday was an artificial deadline. This thing can go much further. It feels like white America is going on strike. Keep up the pressure on your guys in Washington. Don’t give an inch but take an inch.

Too many things don’t add up. This will probably end up like OK City, where there WAS an Islamic connection. (See: Jayna Davis, the Third Terrorist.)

Mostly blatantly, a European-centric guy who wants to support those values would never kill all those young people who will grow up, marry, and have WHITE babies. He would be too conscious of that, but Muslims connected with the tragedy would not.

He would have blown up a mosque on a Friday afternoon, not downtown Oslo or a youth camp. And shooting adolescents is a Muslim trademark. They have no thought for non-Muslim kids, whom they see as animals or “filth.”

Then there were the two FB pages with different info on the English one. And all the books this Norwegian read and quoted were English — all the games American.

Last, if you wanted to cut off the growing movements of the EDL, NDL, BNP, and Geer Wilders, as well as hurting Christianity and conservatives, give Leftists a weapon to use for years, and make people eager to appease Muslims and be hesitant to accuse or investigate them, what would you come up with? Exactly this situation. It’s too neat. It’s even demeaned anti-jihad pages, Spencer and Gellar, the Tea Party, and Sara Palin, as they’ve tried to drag all those in!

Look how, in 10 years since 9-11, America elected a half-black with Muslim ties and sympathies (or is one himself) who helped institute Sharia in Kenya and lived in a Muslim country, Indonesia, with a Muslim stepfather. Now we have Muslim journalists, school lessons, mega-mosques, cities changing zoning laws for them, the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated all through our government, and the flight 93 memorial is a crescent pointing to Mecca. All this in 10 years.

Now think about how close Europe is to tipping now. This could put the whole continent in Muslim hands in 10 years.

Don’t ask me how it was done — a fake personality for the “blue eye” the Muslims have bragging they had for months? Some kind of Patty Hearst style brainwashing? I have no idea. But it sure is interesting that it managed to wound all these at once.

Gee, does it really surprise anyone that Mo Dees and his PC Nazi brownshirts at the SPLC would resort to exploiting this situation to provide for an even better lifestyle for themselves?

  • rockman

Timothy Mc Veigh AKA Timothy Tuttle was special forces trained and a creation for the public. Waco exposed the govt for what it is prematurely. Militias were cropping up all over. Mc Vieghs actions took the steam out of the right wing. He was a phoney who killed a lot of innocent people to make a political point but was that the real result of his actions. Instead of fighting the govt he killed resistance to the govt. That was the true purpose of what he did. the people killed are collateral damage and expendable. It is a high stake power game in progress. People like Mc Viegh are not what the public is told. They are the public tip of the hidden ice burg they let you see to divert you.

WHY DOES AMREN GIVE CREEDENCE TO THE SPLC?

Simply ignore all they say or do.

Do you listen to a ranting Black Panther? Why would you?

Do you take Al sharpton seriously?

Do you believe career sociopaths, or politicians?

So why would you listen to , or defend against the lowest of the low?

    COME ON!

We know this but that won’t stop the left from trying to exploit every avenue they can to make us all ( White Conservatives ) look suspicious to the blinded. The newly released DHS video already had eyebrows being raised in our direction and then the Norway killings took place a few days later, I believe we are heading for some trying times in the wake of all that’s occurred.

Wish more Whites understood this and that the FBI, ADL/SPLC uses these tactics to “scare” Whites from joining any WN movement. They infiltrate and set up their false flag ops.

The letter didn’t surprise me, did anyone else here expect anything different from the $PLC?

This is what caught my eye:

Look again at the signature at the bottom of the letter.

It is the mark of someone either mentally ill or on heavy-duty drugs.

I used to think the ‘FBI’ think was conspiracy theory, but it seems that most ‘Neo Nazis’ are indeed just that.

Glad the government is using it resources wisely, like when they had FBI agents involved in a year long sting operation to stop an Amish farmer from selling raw milk.

Every day I see less and less difference between us and Bolshevik Russia.

  • generalquagmyer

My first thought on hearing the bad news from Norway was that it would from now on be the example pointed to endlessly to demonstrate that white people can be violent lunatics too. It had been 16 years since Timothy McVeigh, after all.

One man. And how many Islamic terrorists, La Raza hatemongers, and flash-mobbing “yuufs” have we read about or seen firsthand lately?

  • JuneWarren

I was in college when Morris Dees was in law school. One of our local restaurants had on display a check Dees had written. It had bounced THREE times and was stamped DO NO DEPOSIT AGAIN. This check stayed taped under the glass counter for nearly a decade.

Dees never made that check good. If you read this Morris…how about getting in touch with the Waysider in Tuscaloosa and paying what you owe them WITH INTEREST!

    Re Posts #07 and #14

A long view re “watchdogs” in American politics over many decades would commend a reasonable investigative template to be

placed over all outlandish and outrageous actions. This reflects what was discovered after the fact about “cointelpro”

activities in the 60’s and 70’s (and beyond?). Where’s Dee$

without loonies to point to in order to stimulate contributions from those “hating hate”.

But, in fact, there are many features of $PLC activities that are clever and effective. It is purely gratuitous to assume that the bulk of the money coming into $PLC is from numerous donors of small amounts as distinct from “fat cat” contributions that quite likely are made FROM a law office representing the tax interests and political passions of a donor or a group of local/regional/ donors, on the one hand, TO the SPLC via the SPLC legal staff, on the other hand–i.e., law office to law office communications and transactions with all the privacy wrappings lawyers can manage in such instances?. It is not unlikely that local/regional “demons” identified by $PLC are “backgrounded” in these fat cat transactions for the benefit of the fat cat contributors? There is a troubling amount of information fed to, or ending up within, $PLC that is information originating from within police departments and sheriff offices. In about every state , laws resembling the federal FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT permit carefully drafted requests that can detect involvements with $PLC—leave to attend SPLC sponsored meetings, travel expenses for such, long distance phone calls to $PLC numbers, subscription to $PLC information, etc etc. The vast number of shotgun condemnations of SPLC that

appear in the commentaries on this website do not come to grips with the ways in which SPLC is effective, the favorable impressions it engenders initially with many Americans, etc. Dee$ has mastered what was known in law schools in the

“activist” 60’s and 70’s as “innovative” legal practices that are more accurately known as bending legal traditions to create a kind of PC “red guard” sense of immediate justice. The most

useful term is “abuse of legal process”. Lots of lawyers do not like “abuse of legal process” and their objections have little to do with where they personally stand along the political spectrum. The abuse of legal process is something that in the long run degrades and injures the functioning of the legal system, of law enforcement, etc. Realistic fictional accounts of what can plausibly be imagined of this damage would be a very useful means of awakening those who are drawn into immediately

‘comfy”, myopic relationships with $PLC but who, upon insight, would recognize they’ve been duped.

SPLC is a hate group that is guilty of hate speech. It is impossible to consistently lie about your opponents without hatred.

Post 20 is especially interesting. There is troubling indication

that Dees may be genuinely a psychopathically disordered person.

A psychological thumbnail description of such a person is that

he/she has no problems because the consequences of his/her selfish and hurtful acts and omissions come to rest not on their shoulders but on the shoulders of their spouses, business partners, friends, relatives, etc etc. It becomes unclear to

such a person why they should worry about such matters as bounced checks, cheated spouses, fleeced associates, etc. The

19th alienists had a relevant diagnosis of “moral idiocy” If

Dees be such a disordered psychopath, his Achilles heel would be the inevitably used and abused staff members in “his” own organization.
