How Did You See the Light on Race?

Jared Taylor, American Renaissance, September 22, 2023

Tell us your story.

This video is available on Rumble, BitChute, and Odysee.

If you’re watching this video, you are probably what I call a racial dissident. You find it impossible to believe a great many things that we are supposed to believe in order to be good, respectable, deluded Americans. I’d love to know how you got that way. What opened your eyes? You are unusual because every institution in the country — government, universities, and of course the media — is telling you you better think a certain way. But, you don’t.

You know the truth about race, and you also know that just a few words could get you tarred and feathered on X or Facebook, run out of respectable society, and even lose your job. So how did you learn the truth?

I’m inviting you to write up your story and send it to us at amren.com AMREN.com. There’s a tab at the top of our home page that says Contact Us. Click on “Write for Us.”

If your story is interesting, well written and concise, we’ll publish it. It can be short — maybe just two or three hundred words. Or it might be as long as 1,500 words. You can use a pen name. Since we live in a country that hates free speech, you ought to use a pen name. But please include an e-mail address so we can contact you if we have questions. Use a burner address. We don’t need to know who you are. Protecting your identity is our number-one concern.

Depending on your experiences, there is a different kind of story that you could write for us. There is a book called Face to Face with Race, and it’s a collection of articles we published about the reality of race.

There’s a fascinating piece by a man who taught in an all-black school. There’s a hair-raising account of what it’s like to work in the New York City subway. One man wrote about what affirmative action did to his fire department. A public defender, who is still a liberal, by the way, wrote about the people he has to defend for a living. A white man doing 20 years in a Texas state prison wrote about what that’s like. That’ll teach you crime doesn’t pay.

These first-person accounts are some of the most powerful articles American Renaissance has ever published. They are stories the mainstream media will never touch. Some of these accounts have been so arresting, with such a harrowing ring of truth that they have been picked up and gone all around the internet.

We’d like to publish more of these articles. If you have a story to tell, write it and send it to us through the “Write for Us” page at AmRen.com. We won’t publish just anything. It’s got to be well written and completely factual. And of course, you can use a pen name.

You don’t have to be American — or white — to write for us. We have published articles by Africans, Asians, and by Americans of all races. Whoever you are, wherever you live, we want to hear your personal, direct experiences of the reality of race.

So, I’m talking about two kinds of stories: short pieces about how you cut through the propaganda and learned the truth about race. Or, longer, more detailed pieces about something most people will never see because you had a box seat somewhere in the great world drama of race — maybe because of your job, or where you live, how you grew up, or whom you’re married to. An inside story you know the mainstream media would never let you tell.

Whether your story is short or long, we really look forward to hearing from you.
