A Missouri teen who thought he was meeting a girl was shot and killed in a deadly set-up by a group of teens, prosecutors allege.
Miles Young, 15, of Springfield, was shot and killed on Thursday, March 12, in what investigators believe was a premeditated ambush, according to a probable cause statement from the Green County Sheriff’s Office obtained by PEOPLE.
On March 31, Yefry Archaga, 18, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in connection with the deadly incident, according to online court records.
Another teen, Praize King, 18, was previously arrested on March 18, and charged with the same offenses in connection with Young’s death.
According to the probable cause statement, on the night of March 12, a female identified only as Juvenile Suspect 1 picked up Young in a black Mercedes after “providing him with the belief the two would be having sexual intercourse.”
