Ferguson Home Values Are Plummeting, and Residents Are Feeling the Pain

Daniel Rivero, Fusion, March 16, 2015

Peering outside the office window of his tire shop, John Zisser grumbles about the pile of burnt rubble that lies on the opposite corner of a busy intersection.

“If you come here to my shop and you see that,” he says, as gestures out the window, “is that going to give you a warm, fuzzy feeling like you want to come back here to do business?”

“Short answer: no, no it’s not,” he says.

Zisser, 55, has owned and operated Zisser’s Tires in this city since 1987. He says the still-visible damage from the November protests that followed a grand jury’s decision not to indict Ferguson officer Darren Wilson for the shooting death of teenager Michael Brown is hurting property owners. His store’s insurance is in the process of being cancelled after it was twice vandalized during the unrest, he says.

“If I sold this place today, I could probably get $300,000 for it, if anyone is crazy enough to buy. Last year, the county said this lot was worth almost a million,” he says. “The value here is all going down. There’s about nine burnt-out buildings this way,” he says, pointing. “And about four more behind me.”

Zisser is one of many Ferguson residents feeling a financial toll from the months of protests, media attention, and now another high-profile shooting. They’re worried not just about their own situations, but about the city coffers, too. The future of Ferguson, they say, is anyone’s guess.

{snip}

For the city’s 2014 budget, approximately 20 percent of the city’s revenue came from the city’s courts, and 17 percent came through property taxes. But after a Department of Justice report found the courts were profiting off racial discrimination, the State of Missouri took over to implement reforms. Couple that with rapidly falling property values (which are used to calculate owed taxes) and it seems like key parts of the city’s business plan are falling out from under it.

The average selling price of a home in the city has been on a steady decline since the shooting of Brown last August, according to housing data compiled from MARIS, an information and statistics service for real estate agents. Prior to Brown’s death, the average home sold in 2014 was selling for $66,764. For the last three and a half months of the year, the average home sold for $36,168, a 46 percent decrease.

The trend has continued on through this year, with the average home selling for only $22,951 so far in 2015. Another negative indicator: in the eight and a half months leading up to Brown’s death, the average residential square foot in 2014 was selling for $45.82. In the eight and a half months since Brown’s passing, the average residential square foot in the city has sold for $24.11. That’s about a 47 percent downtick in one of real estate’s core indicators.

{snip}

“We’re gonna start seeing more foreclosures and more short sales, I’m certain of it,” predicts Terry Gannon, 63, a REMAX real estate agent who has done business here for 34 years.

“Yesterday a property owner called. He has three properties for sale, and he can’t get out. At this point, he’s ready to take a loss,” she says. “And there’s another family I work with–the family has been here for over 50 years. The dad married the girl from two doors down, and the brother lives across the street. They’re from here, and at this point they’re done . . . They’re gonna try to put the house on the market, even though last year it was worth $55,000, and now it’s worth only maybe $45,000.”

    Good.

Not for the elderly whites who live there.

      • Evette Coutier

Those who lay with swine. Too bad.

        • newscomments70

Most of the white elderly aren’t fornicating with them. They simply don’t have the financial means to move. That’s different.

          • Evette Coutier

There was a time when I was dead broke and I found a way to move out. I’m sick of hearing whiney whites. If we’ve become that weak, then there genetics are better than ours. Since when did white people all turn into girl boys and spineless sissies. Our ancestors would be embarrassed.

          • I was dead broke after I graduated college and my then-girlfriend called it quits with me. I had a junker Honda CIVIC station wagon and enough money for gas to get back to Colorado. I doubt anyone has ever packed a car that fast.

          • Maurice Miner

And I can bet that they didn’t croak…

          • When I got an apartment a few weeks after that, nothing crawled, so I must have done the job right.

          • John Smith

They ran out of food in the car and went into your mom’s house.

          • My mother’s place is fanatically, frighteningly clean. When mom was growing up, even her own mother found her behavior in that respect a bit disturbing.

          • Evette Coutier

That Honda civil wagon was a great little car. I remember driving around in a broken down Pinto cruising wagon praying no one would rear-end me. Sleeping in the back of it on a cold Michigan winter night at a rest stop had the advantage that bugs would freeze to death and wouldn’t live in the car.

There was an eccentric radio host at WGNU in St. Louis who had MICE in his car! (He never threw away his fast-food wrappers after going through the Carry-Out, and eating his purchase on the way home…)

          • Earl P. Holt III

            Was she Hindu…?

          • Just a white California weirdo. She was really bright: a physics-math-computer science triple-major, and I liked her cooking, but she was as weird as a three dollar bill. Every adult guy has a goofy ex- in his past, but the way I see it, if a fellow has more than two of those, he has to sit down and seriously question his own judgement.

          • Earl P. Holt III

I was only kidding around with ya…

            Zyklon B.
A solution to most pest problems…

          • It was originally developed for fumigating ships to kill rats. Curiously, the same product is still manufactured in the Czech republic as “Uragan”. Uragan is Czech for “hurricane”, while Zyklon means “cyclone” in German.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

          • newscomments70

Not every situation is that cut and dry. And sometimes it’s easier said than done. If someone is losing their site or they can barely walk (or they can’t walk), there isn’t always an easy solution.

          • Evette Coutier

It is that cut and dry. You either find a way to leave or you live in a dangerous, violent, ghetto where you are seen as the white enemy. And the examples you cite are the exception. Most older folks have family assisting them. If they can’t see or walk, then their families are already assisting them or they’d die. If they can’t see or can barely walk, how do they maintain a home in the first place? It’s all excuses to avoid taking action and moving away from your home you’ve had for thirty years. If that’s your choice then you live with the consequences. No sympathy. Our excessive sympathy is why we fail. No more excuses.

          • newscomments70

What ever happened to standing our ground? Furthermore, you are over-simplifying. People who have lost their health cannot work three jobs to live in Malibu. Many would rather die in their own house than rot away in some nursing home..where they are often neglected, abused, and robbed. I’m all for leaving a bad community, but I have my health and creativity. Furthermore, the feds are “diversifying” everything. There almost is nowhere else to escape to.

I will most likely be in her shoes inside of ten years or so. Home completely paid off, still living in a nice area outside of a city. The undertow is fast encroaching, however. I don’t have the money or the resources to leave, plus my life, for what it’s worth, is here.
Yesterday I went downtown to pick up my handgun permit, my first. I’m the most unlikely person you would probably ever suspect would purchase a handgun, yet that is exactly my plan. A friend has offered to help me learn how to shoot. Next comes my concealed carry permit.
So that is the option for me. I’m younger than the lady in the article, yet I can clearly see the writing on the wall. Things aren’t going to get better, but worse for me, a white person who is rapidly aging in an increasingly non-white friendly environment. Unlike this woman, I realize the government has long since thrown me and other white people under the bus. I’ve decided to grow a pair. This old lady is about a week too late to the party.

Fix yer garage up and buy me a shotgun and you’ll be just fine, darling. Dobermans and security systems only go so far. A shut-in with a shotgun now – good bang for the buck, you know?

Since about 1960 all those pamphlets with “safety tips for seniors” advise doing all errands and activities in the morning and getting home and locked in by 2/30 before the thugs get out of school.

          • Young Werther

Just stating the facts, mam. I stayed.

          • John Smith

Whites have been fed bull that you can’t lose money in real estate, so they’d rather go down with the ship that to take a hit. Sorry whitey, you CAN lose money in real estate, stocks, college education, etc. This isn’t the 50’s, the game is rigged. Oh, and you think you’re going to get to keep your 401K. LMAO

          • propagandaoftruth

Yeah well when you are in your 60’s and have to start all over again I guess that makes you whiney eh?

I don’t think investing in and busting your hump your whole life makes you whiney. In fact one might argue that those who stayed might evince an endangered form of Whitey with some gravel in their guts.

I cannot fault those who gritted it out in hope of salvaging a lifetime of work.

Funny when those who flee with tails between legs are the lions and those who stand and fight are whiners.

          • Evette Coutier

I don’t agree. You stand up and deal with reality. This makes you an adult. Feeling sorry for yourself because you have to live in the real world makes you soft, period. You’re acting like moving is what caused their loss in there home. It’s not. Blacks moving in caused that, and like it or not, that value is gone if they stay or move. If they used their heads in the first place, they would have moved before they lost their investment.

You may respect gritting it out hoping to save their investment, but no matter how you cut it, their investment is lost because they stayed. Basing your finances on hopes is stupid. Just were is the hopes there? Do you really believe they were thinking, “Oh, blacks are moving in. I’ll just grit it out hoping my lifetime investment in my house will not plummet.” Is that it? Or more likely they allowed their emotions drive there bad choice to stay.

Sorry, I’ve not sympathy for people living with the consequences of their choices. We sit around saying the exact same thing about minorities. We insist that they take personal responsibility for their actions, and yet we expect less for whites. We insult minorities for the stupid decisions they make, but feel sorry for whites who act dumb. I expect everybody to take responsibility for their own actions. We’ve become too soft. It’s why we are failing. Feels have become more important than reality. It doesn’t work and its why our nation is failing.

          • propagandaoftruth

Well with all due respect, you sound like you’re slipping down a path of reason that would condemn Roland for dying as the rear guard of Charlemagne’s army.

Please excuse a few Whites for daring to hope that sanity might be just around the corner, that the good guys will come to their senses and wake up, that reason and persistence and hard work and and and…

Yeah, sure, whatever other tired old broken lame shibboleth you want to puke up, throw that on the bonfire of what stupid old White people once believed in.

Stupid old White people were evil. Thank God they are dying off. Imagine if White Folk like my Pawpaw were alive today. Cracked backtalking big “goldbrick” over the head with a monkey wrench one day as a supervisor during WW2, hovered over him until he woke up. “Get the hell back to work or get the hell out of here.”

We don’t want White men like that. We want White men who run away and snipe at those White men who stay and struggle.

Roland was a stupid and contemptible White man indeed…

          • meanqueen

I’m one of the ones who fled, because I didn’t want to expose my children to that environment to fight an uncertain battle for an undetermined amount of time. It wasn’t worth the risk to them. I’m not even disagreeing with you, and I’ve read all your comments. I just don’t have it in me to castigate the elderly or the infirm who don’t see moving as a viable option. I also think those who say we should stand and fight because ultimately there will be nowhere left to run, have an excellent point.

          • Evette Coutier

Hi girlfriend. I always enjoy reading your posts. I think I need I offer perspective. I feel great sympathy for some who becomes sick with cancer. Through no fault of their own they face hardship. I have empathy for someone who makes a bad choice. We tell that person, live, learn, and you’ll know better next time. But what’s happened to this people has been decades in the making. It wasn’t an over night single bad choice. Decades ago they chose to stay, and y ear after year as things got worse, they hid their heads in the sand. They trapped themselves with stupid decisions year after year. I know moving is difficult. I moved twice to get away from these problems. You understand that. But they chose their circumstances and kept making that choice year after year. And they majority of them knew better, they did know they needed to move, but their emotional weakness won out. I have no sympathy for people who make the same chronic mistake year after year because they refuse to grow up and take responsibility for their actions and choices. I don’t feel sorry for old people stuck in prision. They need to bear the consequences of their decisions.

Something to consider. Military’s around the world take young people who are often undisciplined, unmotivated, and soft, and in 8 to 12 weeks, turn them into focused, motivated, tough-minded warriors. There are two elements need to achieve this. They expose them to very difficult and harsh conditions with zero sympathy. We as a people need simular conditions to bring back our spirit. It’s easy to think softness is kindness, but it’s not. Strength is kindness. It’s the old saying, give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and feed him for life. Which is more kind?

          • meanqueen

I also enjoy your posts and if you could see me in real life, you’d see me waving the Evette banner in agreement with most of your comments! 🙂 Again, I don’t disagree with anything you’ve said. I also have impatience for people (and there are too many around me!) who won’t wake up and see the truth in front of them. It’s true that just because someone is elderly doesn’t mean that they didn’t make their bed. My heart still goes out to them because I have a special tenderness for the elderly, but the brutal truth is, my compassion is in this case just a personal emotion that has no impact on anything, and those who, for whatever reason, whether stupid or whether justified, didn’t get the hell outa Dodge in time will suffer the consequences. That’s what’s real. As for the military style training that toughens us up – that’s coming to a town near all of us, and soon, I fear. Our world as we knew it is about to collapse. Everyone will have to adapt or die.

          • Evette Coutier

I Think we are in agreement. It’s a difficult road ahead and now is the time we need to get emotionally prepared. My message is simple, don’t wait for the collapse to toughen up. We know it’s coming. Get ready now. Don’t wait until it’s too late like the people who didn’t leave when the blacks started to move in. The best compassion we can offer is simple advice. Don’t wait until the car hits you to get out if the road. We cannot waste our resources on folks unwilling to be smart about it. They will bring themselves down and those around them down too. There are to few of us and we need to focus on getting ones that can be saved brought back into the fold. Our survival is at stake. The odds against us are great, we are small in numbers, and we need to dedicate our emotional resources to where it will be the most successful.

          • Jim

I’m with you 100%, Evette. It’s time for whites to find the backbone they once had and adopt a take no prisoners attitude.

          • Evette Coutier

There were no greater warriors than the Spartans. We as a people are slow to anger, resistant to fight, but once we commit there is no one who can stand in our way.

Perhaps, but fires injure/kill inhabitants and fire fighters. I would rather see rif-raf physically removed from once decent communities.

          • Seniorsquadldr

They should have left years ago. This is predictable and will happen every time negros move into any neighborhood.

        • Jason Lewis

The old people have lived there for decades and most don’t have the means to just move anytime.

          • Fathercoughlin

Of course! If you’re an old woman who was born there and lived there your whole life and now you’ve gotta move from your childhood home,it must be horrible. • Marilyn

Ya, my grandma’s cousins lived I’m a bad part.of Detroit for years but they grew up there and refused to leave. They live in a nursing home now which is good. At least they’re out of that neighborhood.

          • Evette Coutier

It’s on them. They should have moved out when the blacks started to move in. I’m tired of whites making excuses. I moved out. A lot of others around me stayed. They could have moved but they didn’t want to leave their homes and their community. Boo hoo hoo. Now their houses are valueless, it’s not their community anymore, and they still make excuses. Bunk. Grow up and act like an adult. No sympathy for those with the victim mentality.

          • Marilyn

Ya, it stinks but you have to watch out for you and your family. In my old neighborhood, there are more black people moving in and HUD homes for sale. It’s sad to see what was once a good neighborhood fall.

          • Evette Coutier

It is really sad, especially when you see beautiful old homes with unique architecture and old world craftsmanship be destroyed by pigs unwilling to do even basic maintenance and care. What a travesty.

          • WR_the_realist

I don’t think this sort of disdain for whites who try to make a stand and stay in their neighborhood is helpful. For how much longer will it even be possible to move to a 100% white neighborhood as soon as the first black family moves into town?

          • Evette Coutier

First, just how are they making a stand? What political, social, or ethnic stand do you believe they are making? Do you honestly believe they consciously said, “Darn it. I’m going to say in my home and make a stand against minorities moving in.” At this time in our society the only legal and reasonable action is to move. Whites did it so commonly that it was nicknamed white flight. Unless you have a better alternative that’s realistic.

          • WR_the_realist

I agree that for an individual the only rational action in a country that forbids people from not selling their house to blacks and that has policies to move blacks into white neighborhoods is to run away. Although that is terribly hard for an old person whose life savings was put in a house whose value has plummeted thanks to the diversity. Is he supposed to eke out a living on social security in a tent?

But as Nick Griffin said, “The problem with your country is that it’s too big — people keep running away!” Soon there will be no place to run to — then what do we do?

          • Evette Coutier

The people who chose to stay, and now watch their properly values plummet, and living with the consequences of stupid choices. Like it or not it’s reality. There are low cost options in white areas. I’ve known a number of people who have done this. I have a friend back in Michigan I’ve watched make every excuse possible to not move while blacks continue to populate his neighborhood. After you see this behavior time and time again, you get tired of the BS. He will cry like a baby ten years from now, “I can’t move. My house lost all its value.” That’s fine but don’t expect sympathy from me. I moved out of Detroit and California because of what was happening. I lost money both times. I guess if you value money more than you safety and possible your life, then staying is a grand idea. But don’t expect a shoulder to cry on from me when a gang of punk blacks assaults you because you’re white.

We must fix the problem before we can no longer run or we are in deep you know what. I’m actually positive about that. I think time is on our side long term. Things will continue to get ugly for a bit. This is the pattern of history. But the emotionally strong and intelligent always come out on top. We’ve breed too many docile whites willing to subjugate their genetics to their self guilt. They are losers bound for the genetic trash heap of history. Those of us smart enough to know better, and pass that on to our progeny, will win in the long run.

          • WR_the_realist

Just how are we going to fix this problem? Certainly I see no political solution. The vast majority of whites will not vote for an explicitly pro-white party until they are already a small minority. And then, with our winner take all elections, it will be too late, because such a party will never get a majority of the votes. Needless to say neither the Republicans nor the Democrats will ever do us any good.

What about secession? You’d have to get enough right thinking white people to move to the right place — and then hope that a federal government with smart bombs, nerve gas, and nukes will let us go peacefully.

From what I can see, the whiter areas (like Vermont, Oregon, and Washington) tend also to have the most liberal whites (they think the Democratic Party is what it was in 1950). Hell, even New Hampshire now has too many Massachusetts refugees voting the same way they did in Massachusetts to be of any use. So it isn’t as though having enough whites in an area means that a secessionist movement would even be popular there.

What about demographics? Is there any sign that whites will at least start replacing themselves? Not for as long as our current divorce laws stay the way they are — no man with sense wants to get married, being aware of the worst case and the high probability that the worst case will happen to him.

Sorry to be such a sourpuss, but I see no cause for optimism.

          • Evette Coutier

I agree that it looks bleak. So we have two intelligent choices. First, we accept the world is coming to an end and party like a Kennedy. Go out with a bang because what’s the difference. Second, we realize that trend in history are fluid and current conditions are temporary. Europe is a good example. They are worse than us in this regard, and there are a lot of nationalist folks starting to gain politically. America is going to fall further before people are sufficiently motivated to react. Our issue is to survive that fall so we will be part of the rebound. You have to look at long term trends. We will not fully recover in my lifetime. But there is a strong possibility we will in the next generation. This is a long term battle that will span generations of families. We are in a cultural fight, and culture changes very slowly.

          • meanqueen

Oregon east of the Cascades is very conservative, like Idaho. The problem is the Portland Metro Area, which has a population equal to the rest of the entire state, and that group is extremely lefty. That’s why Oregon is a blue state despite the vast majority of it (in terms of land mass) is conservative. Californians, also libtards, are flocking up to Oregon, though, why, I don’t know since there aren’t any jobs. Mostly it’s the young hip millenials. The homeless have also come up here because they heard the social services were good. We have problems in downtown that we never had before, where homeless bums sleep on business doorsteps and defecate right on the sidewalk in the business district. We have aggressive, menacing panhandlers. At one point, we had homeless camps with tents all around the courthouse to protest of the Wall Street scandal. They called themselves “Occupy Portland” and they created a nightmare for the city for over a year. I’m not sure we ever really got rid of all of them. I rarely go into the city and haven’t been a regular visitor for a decade or more. Yeah, Portland is still white compared to a lot of cities but don’t be fooled – the Mexicans and Muslims are EVERYWHERE, and places you would never expect them to be, like the Christian conservative rural farm towns. I just despair, actually.

          • Lygeia

Please be kind to these elderly people. They need our compassion, not our abrobation.

          • Evette Coutier

I expect people to live with the results of their choices and decisions. Just what good does our compassion actually accomplish if they still live in the ghetto? Sorry, feel good politics doesn’t accomplish anything but to saugh our egos. We fail as a ethnicity because we have replaced strength with weakness, action with excuses, and high expectations with mediocrity.

          • WR_the_realist

Again, you have no specific program other than to continually run away.

          • Evette Coutier

That’s because at this time there are no other options be to leave areas being overtaken by Blacks. We have to live in reality.

          • ElComadreja

This whole thread is starting to give me agita. Eventually you run out of places to run to. I guess most of these people ran from their childhood bullies rather than punch them in their f**king mouths and I guess they consider themselves heroes for it. Whites have been cowering before blacks for sixty years. It’s really working well isn’t it?

          • cherrie greenbaum123

That really is an excellent analogy. In grade school I let a bully make my life miserable. No one was able to help. Even my parent united (a rare occurrence indeed!) and they could do nothing to stop the torment. Finally I had enough and went full throttle on the bully. Victory tastes sweet after you spit the blood of your enemy out through your teeth. 😀

          • I used three feet of heavy chain on my bullies. Their stuff stopped forthwith. Once a bully has had the snot beat out of him with a chain, they find someone else to pick on.

          • I have driven two sets of unpleasant renters out of my immediate area. One was Section-8ers who utterly destroyed the inside of “their” townhouse. The other was a recent college grad who appeared to be running a bordello in hers: we called it “Nikki’s Whore House”. Loud parties, fistfights, dog poop left around, vehicles stored long-term in public parking spaces (including an unregistered, rusted-out van that was being used as a storage shed), and so-on.

I had that van towed. I wrote to my HOA. I wrote to their landlords (Nikki’s unit next door was sold and is now owner-occupied), I wrote to the city, and so they called the police. Nikki told them I was “stalking” her, so I introduced officer Lopez to my wife (Sayaka is very pretty) and explained that I hadn’t paid $120,000 to live in a ghetto.

The area is now so quiet and peaceful that one would think nobody lives here.

          • meanqueen

Blacks, Mexicans, Muslims are all invading just about everywhere. You never know where they’ll turn up next. People cannot just keep moving. Moving is expensive. We can be strong and still have compassion.

          • Evette Coutier

We should have compassion, but only for people who have earned or deserve it. I don’t feel sorry for old people in prison.

          • Lygeia

Just wait until you get older, it may change your perspective, that’s all I have to say.

          • Evette Coutier

            I am older.

          • meanqueen

I agree. It is hard to uproot at any age but especially when you’re elderly, not to mention, it costs MONEY to move – a lot. Plus, if they have known caregivers near them, they may be afraid to give that up. Lastly, as I’ve said before here, I imagine many of them are in somewhat of a shock state. Can you imagine being a child in the 1930’s, a young adult in the 1940’s, raising your family in the 1950’s, and now, this? I’m just entering middle age and I am in shock!

          • WR_the_realist

A problem with the “keep moving” solution is that people need to put down roots. They want to live in a place where the friends they made in high school are still there when they’re middle age. They want to know they can plant a tree and it will be providing shade for their grandchildren. They need to be willing to make investments in roads and other infrastructure that will only provide a positive return over decades.

When people can’t do this things fall apart even faster.

          • Alden

Another problem with keep moving is jobs and the cost of commuting.

          • newscomments70

Always running actually is a victim mentality. We can’t keep running. We are out of places to escape to.

          • Irish

Exactly right..We’re talking about a town that was 3/4’s white as recently as 25 years ago. This is a man made disaster, and the working class Whites are the casualties per usual..

        • Big Blue 11

When will we stop running away, why should we keep running away.

          • Evette Coutier

Because federal law is against us at this time. We can’t fight the government. The only strategy that will work is to protect ourselves and continue to build a political movement that will one day effect change.

          • ElComadreja

They’re not going to give you a choice. They’ve been seeding the suburbs with non-whites for quite some time and it’s going to get worse. Even Alaska has a black gang problem for Christ’s sake. Unless you’re wealthy enough to remove yourself to the boondocks you’re going to be affected by this. Trying to build some kind of political party to reverse things is a futile pipe dream. White flight has to become white fight.

        • Jesse_from_Sweden

Except many of them didn’t lay down with the swines.

They lay down in a nice bed in a nice house in a nice neighbourhood.
And when they woke up, they found that someone had relocated the pig pen while they were asleep.

      • Lygeia

There is a subsidized housing for the elderly. They could get out. But when people get older, they don’t want to leave their homes. It is almost like a biological need to stay no matter how bad it gets. It is very sad and a lesson for all of us.

        • newscomments70

You are correct, there is subsidized housing for the elderly. The problem with that is that the ACLU is forcing such places to allow younger drug addicts and sex offenders to live in these complexes. They are obviously terrorizing the elderly who live their alongside them. Owning a detached home in a place like Ferguson is probably safer than some subsidized housing.

          • Lygeia

Wow. You learn something new every day.

          • newscomments70

Yes, that happened to my brother’s in laws. And I forgot to add, they are forced to allow the mentally ill to live in elderly housing, as well. They did find another apartment. it is much smaller, but the community is much nicer. Sadly, I believe this newer facility will be “diversified”, in time.

          • Lygeia

I’m sorry this happened to your family. It is also more than regrettable that elderly people have to move around like vagabonds. Moving is one of the top three most stressful things for people.

I am glad they found an apartment in a much nicer community. I found a Celtic blessing prayer for their protection:

            My Fortress
            The Sacred Three
            My fortress be
            Encircling me
            Come and be round
            My hearth and my home.

          • newscomments70

Thanks very much for the nice thought. I will forward that to my sister in law, they will like that.

        • John Smith

Here, some negro killed an old negro woman in a wheelchair for her purse as she was going into her low-income elderly housing complex. I bet that most of these types of places are in terrible areas.

          • Cheri Rodriguez

In elderly housing, the black elderly usually (illegally) let their grandkids stay with them for extended periods. And then of course the grandkids prey on anyone who lives there.

          • Lygeia

Oh. I didn’t think of that. Thanks for letting me know about this.

        • WR_the_realist

Typically the subsidized housing is put right next to the black neighborhoods, and in the same school district. They figure that old while people won’t care that the schools are ones they’d never send their own kids to.

        • Alden

In most states Whites can’t get into subsidized housing. There is no central authority. It is all done by non profits. They get the grants and build the buildings and select the tenants. In California the elderly housing is controlled by Asian,Armenian, Persian,Russian and other non profits who select only their own as tenants.
It’s a case of no White Americans need apply

      • Jim

“What will you say when it’s your property?”

I’ll say, “too bad for me, now get your butt in gear.”
It’s time to stop talking about it and start doing something. I wish I had the intellect and organizational skills to start a coalition and begin going on the offence. I hope someone does before it’s too late.

        • WR_the_realist

Moving out is going on the defense — the only type of action that is (for now) still legal. Just how can we go on the offense and stay out of jail? Seriously, I’d like to know.

  • Samuel Hathaway

Black crime, of course, fuels the servere reduction in property values. Bernice King, the niece of MLK was pontificating on FOX News Sunday that this is NOT a black crime problem, this is an AMERICAN crime problem. We beg to differ, Mz. REVER-RUND Bernice. It is specifically BLACK crime that has run property values into the ditch, and no one else, darlin’

Or suggest she walk down a street named for her uncle some night after dark.

      • Samuel Hathaway

Trying to explain the obvious to gross ignorance is a waste of time. The FOX anchors, after the short interview, were slobbering all over themselves what a wonderful anaylsis and what a wonderful voice on the issue that Rev. Bernice is. Gag.

  • Luca

And so the death spiral begins. As homes drop in value some eager foreigners and lowlife landlords will snatch up properties and rent them out to Section 8 negroes. This will breed more crime, more White flight, more failing schools, more drugs, more business failures, more abandon homes, more homelessness, more single parents, and more politicians begging for more money to help the perpetual victims of racism.

Politicians don’t beg for money, they take it.

      Detroit Part II.

      • Marilyn

        My thoughts exactly!

      • Ed

They should be so lucky. According to Zillow there are currently 191 homes for sale in Detroit less than $500 out of 2300 total. So nearly 10% of the homes in Detroit can be bought for the price of a smart TV.

        • AndrewInterrupted

It’s the squatters that are the problem. That’s why the houses haven’t been bull-dozed by now.

        • Charles Martel

When they offered to pay money for cops and fire fighters to take free houses in detoilet they couldn’t find any takers.

      • AndrewInterrupted

        Complete with entitled squatters.

    • cherrie greenbaum123

That is EXACTLY the way it happens. Virtually all of the homes will be Section 8. We all know the quality tenant that brings.

      • Marilyn

We moved to the more rural neighborhood. No sect 8, or welfare there!

        • John Smith

          Likewise.

        • meanqueen

So did we, but it’s not a very long drive to where the Section 8, Agenda 21, and other undesirables exist.

          • Marilyn

Ya..they might be everywhere in the future. We could hope not!

    • AndrewInterrupted

And those “…eager foreigners” will likely be MENA types (Iraqis, Syrians, Iranians) scamming the refugee system for the cash needed to buy them. White people’s money. And so the systemic/systematic white genocide continues.

  • Rusty Shackelford

The article makes it sound like the shooting in and of itself was the only reason the home values dropped. The shooting has nothing to do with it. Ferguson home values are plummeting because of the way the stupid, violent blacks who live there REACTED to the shooting of Michael Brown.

    • Yancy Derringer

Right. Obama and Holder twisted Dem Governor Nixon’s arm into disappearing the National Guard on the night blacks burned down tens of buildings. That’s disgraceful, and should be criminal. The press won’t even touch this part of the story.

    • THANK YOU! And, add to that, they REASTED to the shooting because of the way the MEDIA reacted to it and also because of the way the president and attorney general helped fuel the flames.

Let me gaze into my crystal ball for a moment……yes, yes, an image is starting to emerge. It appears to be a statue of the Gentle Giant, life sized, of course. It’s on Flourissant Avenue, next door to the burned out Beauty Supply House. It’s down the street from the Quik Mart, itself burned after being thoroughly looted shortly after Brown swiped his last Swisher Sweet. There is a faint charcoal like smell to the air, even though it’s been 3 years since St. Swisher Sweet roamed the Earth. The gifts are still gathered around the feet of the statue, it’s arms raised in the air in the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” pose. There are few negroes gathered round, knocking back some Miller High Life tall boys, sharing a blunt. It’s nigh past the first of the month, and already the EBT card is coming up empty. YT has destroyed another vibrant, diverse community.

    • Whitetrashgang

God bless the Negro.Should not negroes at this point stop going to church on sundays and just sit at the EBT card building?

Eventually most blacks will be muslims; they are defacto muslims now like Bonehead Hussein.

When Ferguson is finished, the black militants will terrorize another american city. As long as we have a plentiful supply of black thugs and white cops, there will be many more Fergusons to entertain everyone and provide fresh blood for the black militant vampires.

      • Samuel Hathaway

  • I visited realtor(dot)com last week and made a joke about it on amren in a comment. There are some beautiful houses in Ferguson. It’s not a slum, at least not from what you could see on the realtor site. But the beautiful houses with pretty trees and yards are dirt cheap even by Texas standards.

No white person is going to buy in Ferguson to live in a house. Some wanna be slumlords looking to turn a quick profit via collecting Section 8 rents are going to be the purchasers, thus turning the place from owner-occupied to renter occupied.

Once, when I was left San Antonio to teach at Texas A & M on a visiting slot for two years, I rented my modest house to a white woman with Negro children. HUGE mistake. She stopped paying the rent after a few months and when I did take possession the children had cut down several young trees, put holes in the walls and doors, left an unlicensed junk trailer in the street, and left a huge unpaid electric bill which the electric company tried to collect from me in spite of me showing them a signed lease.

Ferguson houses will slowly be destroyed (or quickly as landlords do the arson to collect insurance on beat up properties). Negros are death–to people and houses.

    • Samuel Hathaway

The Negroids are always a mistake to deal with, and the dumb white women get brought down right with them. The vandalism is no surprise. And the unpaid electric bill is even less of a surprise. Look at all those unpaid water bills in Detroit. Let ’em go without bathing. Let ’em go without clean clothes to wash with or water for cooking. I’m exhausted from being asked to open up my wallet to help these primitive savages make ends meet.

      • I forgot this. After I had moved back in and was in the process of cleaning up the mess, she sent her Negro sprog over to collect some sort of welfare check or something that came in her mail. Anyway, I had illegally torn it up, probably committing a felony in the process. I told the sprog that “No, I have seen no check.” I’m not going to admit to a felony, although I generally always tell the truth.

        • When I receive mail intended other people, I always remail it after marking it “misdelivered”. This makes the incompetoids and diversitards at the USPS do some genuine work for a change, and keeps me in the clear.

        • Samuel Hathaway

Good. I’d want to have torn up the welfare check, too. And I wouldn’t care if it was a felony. The post office misplaces my mail constantly..yeah, that’s what happened to your welfare check. These trashy white women popping out vandalizing mulattos are are far worse menace than tearing up a welfare check.

      • Sick of it

At least you were asked. I’ve been taxed even when making practically nothing so that I can financially support those losers.

        • Deacon Blue

And I have been investigated by a state EEOC because while
I had plenty of women and Hispanics working for the business,
I only had one Black. Who was fired. After six weeks. For all
the reasons you folks would suspect. Documented. And he
complained. So not only did I have to settle a sexual harassment
lawsuit caused by this six-week nightmare {he thought it cute to
slap and grab women’s rear ends while on premises} I also
had to endure being crucified by a 300 pound, conniving,
bad hair weave ridden, Haitianette on the govt. dole as an
“EEOC Investigator” who decided that my company needed to
send the whole C-level suite to diversity training {on our dime
and on the weekend} as well as advertise to fill openings
at a minority job fair at an inner city Black church. So now I keep
two professional coffee drinkers on staff, in the back, far away
from anyone else. On the bright side, I think the two of them
do excel at World of Warcraft. When you wonder why stuff is
expensive and now “costs more?” Remember, I and legions of
others like me have “parasitic financial drag” in the form of mandatory, shiftless Black employees who contribute nothing
other than increases to COGS and a decrease to my bottom line
which I have to pass through to you. America…what a country!

          • TruthBeTold

That’s the kind of story that needs to be in AR.

Seriously consider writing this story and submitting it to AR.

          • Deacon Blue

Not a chance. I likely revealed way too much already in my
indiscretion. I’m far to afraid that I would be “made” and then
the local MSM would plaster my photo all over the place as
a racist business owner. Next thing you know? I am being
picketed both by Jimmy Nignog and the local SEIU. I hate to
come off as a “fair weather” race realist {I am just making my
bones here on AmRen} but I am not going to risk losing a
business I spent better than twenty years building because I
am now taking a more, shall we write? “Pragmatic and true
perspective on how the world really works!” What I can reveal
is you folks don’t even know the half of it. Yeah, I get it that
there is a subset of people here who think big business is run
by a cabal of MOTT’s, Illuminati/Free Masons, etc. But I own
a “medium sized business” that I am planning to sell when
I have a certain birthday. To start and build this business I have
sacrificed a lot. I lost a marriage, did not get remarried
again until middle age, waited until middle age to have children,
worked an average of 55 hours per week for two decades,
I gave up a lot to create this. I would not complain but for the
somewhat recent, overt and repetitive attempts by our
government on every level to pick my pocket, restrict
my ability to operate and force me to manage my business
in a manner at odds with profitability. If its not a tax its a license
or a permit fee, right? I pride myself, as do the other principals,
in treating our employees like family. I can not even count the
number of forgivable loans I made to employees in the form
of pay advances over the years. Or time off given to
employees who had personal issues. With the exception of
one employee, all of our managers/directors have been
groomed and promoted from within. We give everyone a
fair shake, even the Blacks. And in the last half decade our
reward from this country has been that we are completely sh*t
on again and again. Despite the severe penalties we will
endure under the ACA {we have more than enough employees
to be stung by this awful law} I have not laid off anyone and
the few who have left have been replaced with FTE’s. We “get
it” – our most valuable resources are our employees and we
strive to keep them as happy as we can. Or we did. Now?
everyone has an entitlement mindset. The Republic is falling
fast. I have never seen a more slovenly, stupid, self absorbed
group of people than the Millenials {except for Blacks}. The
White males in their twenties with their hipster beards living
in mom’s basement have all but given up by age 24-25.
It’s almost like there is some societal/psychological castration
disease. If they are hetero guys or at least not openly gay
they just have no motivation to do anything but smoke pot and
play video games. They are late, they watch the clock and
do the minimum to get by. While I am tired of listening to how
oppressed the few gay employees we have claim to be by
everyone {lest I forget how miserable America is for them, they
remind me almost daily} at least they are hard workers and
take pride in what they do. Can’t write that about White
Millenial hetero males. Our industry is well suited for many
Hispanics who seem to thrive in jobs that require repetitive
manual labor assembly/tasking. I can’t complain much about
those folks either. As long as they are shown exactly what
they are needed to do? They usually do it. The women
{of all flavors} tend to bring some drama to the place but they
still understand that no work = no pay. The only serious
problem we have encountered is the one Black guy we hired
{what a catastrophic mistake that was!} and to be quite frank,
White male hetero Millenials who are non-confrontational,
passive, without goals and with a flat affect. It’s unreal! They
show up late and sometimes not at all. And they are so
matter-of-fact about it, even if you write them up or show a
little verbal anger? Nothing phases these kids today. We had to hire a couple of Blacks after we let the first one go {for
cause} when he complained to the EEOC. This was a mid
six figure fiasco when all was said and done. The current
Blacks get paid in the $16/hour range and realistically
we “created positions” to hire them so the government would
leave us alone about it already. I don’t want to describe by
name or tasks what they do but it shall suffice that they
come in late and make up for it by leaving early. If they perform
even two hours of real work in an eight hour shift that would
be noted as a constructive day for them. They excel in
being loud, causing controversy, seeding discontent,
petty larceny and compulsive bullsh*tting. Since we offer
free coffee, I never see them without a cup of such in their
hands. We have segregated them but putting them in an
office with a partition in the far back and by providing them
with high speed internet and a large screen computer which
which they use to play video games and apparently Skype
with. If you had asked me a decade ago if I would ever
consider selling ever I would likely have replied, “no, this is
my baby!” Now? Now, I see some of the larger regional
and national player conglomerates in the industry who are
sniffing around and sending in feelers. If I can get a decent
multiple of EBITDA? They can have the business, I will take
the buyout so long as its not a stock swap and it does not
require me to stay on longer than six months. I’ll throw the
money into a self managed group of self selected dividend
stocks and laddered corporate bonds while living fat off the
interest. I had hoped to pass this business on to my children
but clearly I can see this is just a pie in the sky dream. Yeah,
I am White. My partners are White. And I hear the, “you guys
were so lucky to be White men back in the 1990’s because
you got to utilize your White privilege and exploit others to
strike gold.”, or some facsimile of that at least once per week.
Even at reliably “Republican” bastions like Chamber of
Commerce meetings! So when people complain that those
“good jobs” are going away, where ever “away” is located,
somewhere other than here I suppose. When they complain
that some kid with an MBA from a name school and no real
experience is barking orders at them because he came in
as a Director or VP during the buyout? Maybe these people
will look back and think, “we really did have it pretty good,
the founder really was a decent human being who treated
us like actual humans and not automatons or company assets
to be utilized however the BoD sees fit!” I won’t hold my
breath though. Sorry for the rant folks. I’m just becoming a
miserable pr*ck because this country, which I do love
even if I do not love how its been acting in recent years, is
repeatedly kicking me in the genitals for no other reason
than I am White and make and heterosexual and I worked
hard to make a nice life for myself and family. /rant off.

Wow. I have heard so many stories like this. I got out of being an “employer” in the early 2000’s, and became an “employee”.

It really was the best move that I could ever have made. The system crucifies you, and then you die. As a small or mid-tier “employer”, you simply can’t cope competing with both .gov and large market-moving kleptocratic entities. Best of luck to you, Deacon Blue.

          • Deacon Blue

This will be my last post for some time as I find that as I became more “aware” I am becoming more hostile and my blood pressure is likely in an unhealthy place.

I did want to take my hiatus by just mentioning one employee we have that recently stunned me. She is an assistant I “inherited” from one of my partners. This young White woman
has a Master’s in Education but has been thus far unsuccessful
in passing the state teaching exam. I find it outrageous that she was allowed to graduate from a graduate teaching program without being fully vetted to teach. One of my partners found her working part time as a bank teller and as she seemed to do well with a 10 key and numbers, he ended up hiring her.

I do realize what it is like to be young and single. All of us were
once, correct? But even in my most debasing periods of my
life, I never would dare show up for work hung over or possibly
            still intoxicated.

I ended up inheriting this kid from my partner as I needed
someone to do some basic AP/AR work, filing, setting up
spreadsheets, etc. And she can do this very well. When
I can find her in her cubicle. She chain smokes, easily
a pack per day. So more often then not I find her on a
“cigarette break” out at the loading docks. I am trying to
overlook this as well as her habitual Monday bloodshot eyes
            from the weekend binge parties.

So here is where it gets really hairy. We pay her well,
I would go on record to say we pay her more than she
deserves. She was living at home with mom and dad,
didn’t save, didn’t plan, just spends her salary on booze,
clubs, “enjoying her life” but its her money so I have no
right to tell her how to spend it I suppose.

One day she walks into my office and tells me matter-of-fact
that she needs a raise, that she needs to earn about
$55K-$60K per year to maintain her lifestyle.

You see, she was moving out of mom and dad’s into her own
apartment. With her boyfriend. Who is unemployed. And
Black. But he’s an “aspiring musician” and its just a matter
of time before he makes it big as a rap star.

Needless to say, I am truly taken aback by this news.
This is a relatively attractive White woman, late-20’s,
she earned a Masters in Education and while she smokes
and drinks far too much for my liking? I’m just flabbergasted
that she is romantically linked to a Black guy when there
are well close to a dozen, single, White guys in the
building who I assume would have liked to date her {before
she polluted herself with the Black}. I’m just not understanding
the upside for her in this situation.

So she needs a bigger salary not to pay for her own board
and keep but to pay for his and her board and keep.

I might add she never asked if there was any additional tasks
or work she could do to earn more money. There was no
inquiry as to when/if she could be promoted and see a
salary increase or even any discussion of what metrics
we should lay out for her to receive a pay raise.

Just, “listen, so I am moving out of my parent’s place finally
and what you pay me I can’t afford rent, food and my student
loan repayment so I need you to pay me more money.”

As much as I want to inquire as to why the “significant other
Black guy” is not paying anything towards any of their grand
plans, I know from an HR standpoint that I would be in a bad
way if I went down this path with her and then did not give in
            to her ultimatum.

I just can not grasp where a kid today finds the where-with-all
to walk into into her supervisor’s office, basically unannounced
and demands a hugely substantial pay increase while
rationalizing it in the manner she did.

I declined obviously citing salary compression among other
employees who have been employed with us for a lot longer
period of time and who did not earn $55K-$60K.

So she is unhappy, pouty, sighs a lot & it’s obvious she is
having a disagreement with the Black boyfriend about how
to “handle me.” I over heard the Black boyfriend gassing
            her up on the phone about the “rich White dude” {me}
“needing to stop being cheap-as-f*ck with her.”

The stunning lack of self awareness, arrogance, entitlement,
and narcissism in the with this demographic is just beyond
            the pale.

In my youth, we did some dumb things. But we would never
talk at a supervisor who was old enough to be our father
in such a condescending and derogatory manner.

And our White women would NEVER be seen with, never mind
be romantically involved with, an unemployed Black guy.

Times have changed. Not for the better.

Peace out AmRen’ers. I will be back in time. Need a break
to settle down and digest all this.

          • John Smith

I’d look for a reason to fire that mudshark. Better watch your back, as the black BF might try something if you’re staying late some night – I hope you concealed carry.

          • If you are really lucky, she’ll quit.

          • meanqueen

I don’t know if you made Deacon feel better with that, but you made me feel better. Thank you!

          • AndrewInterrupted

The dozen white guys at your company know they will go to jail if they knock her up and can’t make child support. The Minority Underlying Government (MUGgers) don’t lock up Africans for the same. Just as you “…know of two baby mamas”–and Trayvon is still walking free.

Those dozen white guys are protecting themselves by not getting entangled with a loose, blue-Kool-Aid slurpin’ white woman. Trayvon is her only option. That’s how the cultural Marxists designed it: Have the founding population finance their own genocide.

The Mainstream Marxist Media calls it “….low white fertility”, of course. It’s actually white genocide.

          • DaveMed

Interesting story. We all feel your frustration.

Take as long as you need.

          • meanqueen

I’m almost afraid to ask, because I think I know the answer, but can’t you fire her? I’m sorry they are raising your blood pressure, but I’ve enjoyed your rants nonetheless.

          • Tarczan

You should fire her and tell her the reason is that you don’t believe in race mixing. It’ll give the AA guy something to do.

          • WR_the_realist

Bad idea. The EEOC and its associated government entities will destroy Deacon Blue and his company if he ever says anything like that.

          • Alden

He would probably be charged with a hate crime and hounded into jail by SPLC .
He could do the documentation thing. It is easy to fire Whites. He could make up some new rules that apply to everyone but impact her, such as only a certain number for a certain time smoking breaks.

          • BlueSonicStreak

I have no idea why you keep that employee on the payroll, other than to justify rants where you cast yourself as the embodiment of the Old Economy Steven meme.

No manager I know would keep an employee like that, regardless of age.

Regarding Millennials, I’d sure like to know what on earth the older generations think we should do. Of all the people my age I know, the ONLY ones who have managed to become true “adults” in the sense of being entirely on their own with a house and a car are the ones who married and pooled the money of two or more jobs together. They still have low job security (often working in retail), and are totally unable to support children with the money they have. The idea that they will be in any sort of position to properly raise a family until they are close to their forties is laughable.

Everyone else is either drowning in student loan debt for a useless degree, or unable to afford more than maybe a semester of school at a time. An undergrad degree takes, what, a decade at that rate?

My mother keeps telling me that she used to fund a year of university with a summer of work, and that she doesn’t understand how getting a degree and moving out to start a career and family all became so financially unreachable. I pay $800/month right now in rent while pulling in $950, and the one student loan I made the mistake of getting only paid for a year of school when all the costs were said and done. I have NO idea when I will ever pay it off completely.

Several people I know thought that getting a $20,000 loan just to get school done in one fell swoop was the way to go – they are getting boned now, still only working in retail and needing to pay THAT off.

            House? Car? Family? Get out.

          • Alden

Just one text book costs 2weeks 40hours a week minimum wage or even more. The buy back is only about 10 per cent of the original cost

          • BlueSonicStreak

BINGO. Just one aspect of the scam, but they have most aspects of it covered. I once took a MINT hardcover textbook back to my campus bookstore (purchased at the start of the semester, not even so much as a bent corner) and they gave me 10% for it. The book was new to the course, and it was a guarantee they’d use it the next semester, too. I was in a state of shock. I should have refused to sell it when they named the amount they’d give me; but I was so stunned at the matter-of-fact ripoff, I just numbly handed the book over and took the money. Kicked myself later in a fury.

My campus has a second-hand student-run bookstore where you can count on getting more back – IF and ONLY if your book sells, no money up front. But they have to diligently advertise themselves to students, since obviously the official bookstore would prefer you to know nothing about it. (I didn’t know about it when I sold the above book, for instance.)

My deepest level of scorn though, is actually reserved for the courses at my uni (mostly STEM courses) that FORCE you to buy a new book in order to get a pre-packaged code for access to online material and quizzes that will ultimately be worth only 10% of your course mark. The code by itself is so expensive that it’s actually MORE MONEY to buy the code separately and then either the eBook or discounted used copy. The CHEAPEST option is a brand-new hardcover textbook every semester!

          • Nice, and I am sorry, but you ought to have paragraphed that a bit better.

          • Deacon Blue

It’s late, I am tired and grammar is not my strongest point even when well rested. My apologies.

          • AndrewInterrupted

            No worries. Nice rants. 😉

          • brior

Very enlightening post, my company only survived a few tough years but a lot of valuable lessons were learned that can,t be taught in a screwl. I hope the best for you and the few employees you have helped along the way that you still have trust in.

          • Bon, From the Land of Babble

When I started reading your post, I thought you were my brother – I’ve heard the exact same (justified) rants from him for years, almost every single week – including that he thought he would never sell his business, would pass it down to his children, but, like you, is now in the process of “selling out.” The government monitors and snoops, the taxes, fees and regulations, the endless employee problems finally got to him, so he says.
When I got to the part in your essay about a “high end German” car, I knew you weren’t he – he drives a high end American-made car, only because they will deal with his business.
My brother says he worked so many hours when he started out (like 10 years) that he slept in his business and he too lost out on many personal and family experiences that can and never will be recovered.
He has made a great life for himself and his family but at great personal expense, he tells me, including great damage to his health.

Yet, jerks like Obama, who have profited greatly from what others have created, built and sacrificed for, say that you and my brother “didn’t earn that.”

No wonder so many companies are moving overseas.

          • meanqueen

Don’t apologize. You have every right to rant. I wish I knew what more to say. Having to hire idiot monkeys just to keep the gov off your back is really so over the top, and so frightening. I have nowhere near the trauma that you have, and yet I myself dropped out of society 15 years ago at the first chance I got, because work environments became unbearable for all the reasons you described. The millenials are just exactly as you describe. Anyway, this all brings to mind Atlas Shrugged and how all the contributors to society just dropped out one by one until they were all gone.

You have a lot to get off your chest. You could clearly write a full length piece for AR.

I understand your reticence and your fears of being identified and persecuted are real and rational. (I once wrote a letter to the editor of a college newspaper regarding an issue of race. I didn’t make any racially charged comments; I wrote the letter to give some facts. I clearly wrote THIS LETTER IS NOT FOR PUBLICATION which they published with my name included. They sent me an email saying they were sorry but they missed it. This led to letters to the editor denouncing me by name).

Still consider my suggestion. I’m sure you could write it in such a way so you couldn’t be identified.

If not now, keep a diary of events and after you sell the company are are secure, you can write a tell all.

          • BlueSonicStreak

Having worked as a freelance journalist for a short while, I can assure you (if you even had a lingering doubt) that was quite purposeful and not a mistake.

Once, as a journalism student, I had my own sources burned by my city’s largest local paper. I had written a story exposing how poorly our city’s largest mental health organization was treating schizophrenics (who are “too crazy to complain”). They altered my story to make it fluffy and positive, AND the newspaper changed names in my story BACK to the real ones (which, as a student, I was required to turn in with their phone numbers to prove I had not invented the story) after I put fake ones in the story and noted (in the story itself as well as in a separate note to the editor) that the people I’d interviewed didn’t want their real identities released. There’s no way they missed that, and the story itself didn’t remotely resemble what I’d written. (Though I still got my name on the byline. Wonderful.)

Could have thrown up when I saw the published version.

Among the reasons I gave up on journalism. Really a corrupt field – I saw sources lied to, saw photos doctored, etc. Trust no journalist, corroborate everything you can with as many different sources as possible. Too many people in journalism have ZERO ethics. If you don’t get burned today, it’s only because they see further use for you and not because they think it’s wrong. They’re sociopaths.

          • TruthBeTold

            I know it wasn’t a mistake.

I wrote THIS LETTER IS NOT FOR PUBLICATION below my name. There’s no way they could have put my name in the paper and not have seen my note.

Also, they sent me an email apologizing about the mistake before I saw the school paper. The time stamp was after midnight which I believe would be after they sent the paper to be publish. Meaning they deliberately put my name in the paper, waiting until it was printed, and then notified me. They knew about their mistake before I did; without me notifying them of the ‘mistake’.

It still infuriates me that I didn’t take some kind of action against them. I should have talked to a lawyer but I wasn’t sure if I had grounds for any action and how much money it might cost.

          • Exactly, Bon. Eventually the Chinese will stop buying U.S. Treasuries.

          • Bon, From the Land of Babble

They’re busy buying up hard assets now – in the U.S. – like the AMC theater chain, land, buildings – among other things:

Chinese company known as “Sino-Michigan Properties LLC” has purchased 200 acres of land near the town of Milan, Michigan. The goal is to build a “China City” with artificial lakes, a Chinese cultural center and hundreds of housing units for Chinese citizens.

Corporations controlled by the Chinese government have been rapidly buying up U.S. oil and gas deposits worth billions of dollars.

Chinese investors have been gobbling up real estate all over New York City. The following is from a recent Forbes article….

According to a recent report in the New York Times, investors from China are “snapping up luxury apartments” and are planning to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on commercial and residential projects like Atlantic Yards in Brooklyn. Chinese companies also have signed major leases at the Empire State Building and at 1 World Trade Center, the report said.

The Chinese are also doing huge real estate deals in cities in the middle part of the country. The following example is from an article in the Toledo Blade….

Dashing Pacific Group Ltd., which has already purchased the nearby Docks restaurant complex for $2.15 million, put its $3.8 million offer to buy the southern 69 acres at the Marina District in East Toledo back on the table for approval by Toledo City Council. Additionally, Dashing Pacific Chairman Yuan Xiaohong, in a letter signed in Hangzhou, said the firm wants a two-year option to buy the decommissioned Toledo Edison power plant property on the site.

Michael! You’re not supposed to tell. My opinion is despite the

offer they are all uniformly and irrespective of the their Moody’s
rating nothing but a glorified and legalized government run and
backed Ponzi schemes. Because when the pols need more cash
and they have stressed the local tax payers to the max they can
always just roll over or issue more muni’s, right? Que sera, sera,

The Germans seem to think that there’s nothing actually behind Moodys, et al. Their accountants barely spent any time auditing the books of several German cities, yet gave them ratings.

A lot of Republican “conservatives” would be delighted to hear that since they hate Civil Service workers and then they wonder why a lot of working class Whites won’ vote Republican.

  • TruthBeTold

    Who didn’t see that coming?

Forced to flee and at a loss, in 10 years, so-called black academics are going to write lengthy pieces about how Ferguson failed because of racism and white flight.

    • White flight? They are being driven out. The term for this is “ethnic cleansing”.

      • bv

        They always blame whites.

      • Deacon Blue

Agreed. Outside of the odd Black physician, attorney or pro-baller,
my neighborhood suffers from a lack of Blacks. But we have plenty of Whites & Asians. We also suffer from a lack of graffiti, burglaries, assaults,
junker cars, loud noises after 11PM and shadowy types in hoodies with
an unnatural predilection for Skittles. However, nobody is complaining
about the scarcity of Blacks in my ‘hood…including the few Blacks who
live here! There are a few ways to keep most Blacks out of your vicinity.
First, always vehemently oppose any and all attempts to allow for
public transportation anywhere near where you call home. No busses =
no Blacks with my apologies to RaRaRaRosa Parks. Next, the city
or town or development should have minimal lot size ordinances exceeding
an acre. And finally? An active HOA that harangues people who do
not hire the illegal Meximicans to keep the landscaping up to par.

        • This sounds a bit like my own area. I pick up trash along the busy road nearby. This isn’t because I have to, but because my mother raised me that way. It looks as if humans live here.

          • Deacon Blue

I know some of your history reading AmRen and on the assumption that it is true – and I have no reason to think it is not – if we needed a chemist, even an analytical chemist to run QA/QC testing like FTIR, UV, GC/MS and other basic bench top stuff which you may find mundane and likely many strata below your intellect, I still would not hesitate to interview you, Michael and give you a real chance the same as anyone else. As I am sure you are all too keenly aware of, there are many, MANY people in the world who but merely by Grace of God {or dumb luck} have managed not to pick up a felony conviction due to their actions.

            Unconvicted felons?

It is an absolute travesty that employers are actually encouraged to discriminate against people with an adverse CORI/BOP report. And because your situation is federal, I don’t think there is any mechanism for sealing it or expunging it which adds to the inherent unfairness. You seems like a really good, solid, bright {intelligent not luminosity} White guy.

Sure, background checks are needed. I’m not going to
hire an embezzler to work in finance, I’m not going to
hire a convicted child molester to work with children or
a drug trafficker to work in a pharmacy. But at some point,
I would like to think that everyone deserves a second chance
and outside of a few extenuating situations, a clean slate.

One of our employees who has been with us since our
first year made a poor choice when he was 23 years old.
He spent a few years upstate and was saddled with a
felony record at age 29, sent out on parole and told he needed
to find a job in a week to stay out. We hired him and I would
trust the guy with my wife and two kids 24/7/365.

I know he’ll never leave us because he probably can’t find
similar employment elsewhere but he’s a middle-manager now
and for sure he is not that 23 year old frat boy who got drunk
and made a bad decision. Even if the rest of the country
            can’t see past that.

He’s a solid White guy and as far as I can see from Amren, so are you.

Best of luck, I am going to take a little time off after one more
post as I am finding this place is flooding me with information
and insights and causing a whole host of emotions to surface
about how White male heterosexuals are being treated in
America today. And I need to get a grip on this before I
            scream.

It’s not a fallacy, its not imagined, its tangible, corporeal and
I am seeing it everywhere. We are being f*cked out of our
birthright. Worse, we are essentially being told that we have
no right as a culturally, ethnically, unique and distinct
population to exist in this world anymore. Of course, everyone
else from every other group has a right to be noted,
recognized, feel slighted/aggrieved and receive extra stuff
at our expense. That is OK. That is “Diversity” and with no
hesitations I can look anyone in the eye and tell them that
Diversity is a metaphor for White heterosexual male genocide,
its a code word that everyone, including many White
make heterosexuals, not only accepts but actively embraces.

And as I am becoming more and more aware of how deep
down the proverbial rabbit hole this obscenity goes the
more and more irate I am becoming. So I need a break.

I have one more post and I am going to take a break for
awhile to think about all this. I would so love to me Jared
and crew in TN. I just need to be careful about it…

Cheers and well wishes to all of you White heterosexual
men here on AmRen. I empathize now. I get it. And like
all of you I detest how our country has been usurped from us.

          • My first post-prison job was making sandwiches at a Subway restaurant. I actually loved i, and I ended up as morning manager. I haven’t applied for work in chemistry, or anywhere else since 2006.During my first six months of incarceration, I felt sorry for myself, in the Denver county jail, fighting my case out on a no-bond hold, but after I was sentenced and sent to federal prison, I met a lot of guys who were in much worse shape than I. One of my friends did 10.5 years on two misdemeanors. He had “too much” Sudafed, which was more than 500 pills, a federal misdemeanor. He was driving it to his meth cook’s house. He also had illegal fireworks, a misdemeanor in Texas. The feds called that a 10-year “explosives” enhancement. His last appeal was refused as mail; the court sent the whole damned thing back unopened. I got refused the same day on my own sentencing appeal, and my girlfriend broke up with me, saying she was marrying someone else. We watched the July 4 fireworks over Ft. Worth the next evening. Rex was a big, tough biker, and he was in tears, so I patted him on the back and held his hand without saying anything.

Another friend, Luis from DCJ got 34 years of state time here in Colorado for being stabbed in the neck. He had been a software engineer for Qwest, the old phone company, making $75,000 a year. It was so completely emotionally draining that I ran out of time to feel sorry for myself. Sure, we’d made mistakes. Paul Fernandez got 60 years in state for running cocaine – a second time. Robert Ocampo received over 30 more in the feds, after he got out, and I’m not even certain why; it appears he got popped for counterfeiting again, which would have earned him a 20-year “habitual offender” enhancement. He ran his appeals out a few years ago. Paul was actually a nice guy, and Rob was a brilliant chess player. Rob and I had planned out small business start-ups in thorough detail, writing off for information we needed. It’s not like we had anything else to do except play chess. Luis was so completely trustworthy in Sterling state prison that they eventually had him running their computers. He made parole, so I don’t write to him anymore, as I don’t want to get him in trouble with his P.O. (they call that “criminal association”).

I think of those guys a fair bit. It was a real eye-opener for me.

  • To be fair, $66k for a house isn’t that much, and Ferguson was headed downhill even before August 9. The main reason, I’ll get to in a moment.

Ferguson’s only hope to buy a little time is to shrink its municipal boundaries, so that the apartment farms are outside of the city limits and returned to unincorporated St. Louis County.

But then its big long term problem: The Ferguson-Florissant School District.

    • TruthBeTold

It seems Section 8 had reached critical mass. Once that happened the decline was unstoppable.

      • LHathaway

I live in a still very White suburb of a diverse city (pop 200 to 300 thousand). Most of the rentals Here have become section 8, most people are probably unaware of that. The entire nearby city may as well be a giant project. It is, actually. Now the outlying suburbs are becoming projects.

        • Sick of it

That’s slowly but surely happening in the Dallas area. Former upscale suburbs are being overtaken by diversity.

          • LHathaway

Much of the section 8 rental here is to Whites. It may even be their way of doing segregation! Or Whites just choose to move here. This is a very White suburb and it seems to be mostly white section 8 people being moved here. Diversity is overtaking everywhere, though. Entire cities that have been mostly projects for decades are now expanding, being projected outward.

        • TruthBeTold

The big push seemed to have started in the early 2000s’.

Ferguson’s only hope is a disaster of biblical proportions. I am thinking flood

the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah might also work too. Think dirty chalk board
that needs the slate wiped clean so that order and function may be seen clearly
      again.

    • in Florida certain highly repected minorities, who are known for having no net worth, no career, or visible means of supprt, spend $20k on a set of matching wheel rims.

  • cherrie greenbaum123

It’s kind of my thing to invest in real estate, so I couldn’t help looking through the listings in Ferguson, of which there are many. The majority of the houses were built during the mid to late ’50s, mostly modest 2 and 3 bedroom ranch houses. Prices have gone down a lot, but in my mind they have a lot further to go.
There are several problems with the houses in Ferguson, despite the fact that they are in….Ferguson. The houses themselves appear to be fairly solid in what was once a very stable, middle class, white area. Many of them have suffered through what I like to call (privately, of course) negro remodeling. Typically, with negro remodeling, you see haphazard construction, uneven paneling, installed wet bars in basements, and garish, cheap looking fixtures everywhere. Apart from the fact that these houses are in Ferguson, which will doom any seller trying to get rid of them, is the sloppy workmanship blacks so often do when they try to “upgrade”. Anybody (white) who is still in Ferguson is in for a lot of misery, I’m afraid. The time to get the heck out of Ferguson was twenty years ago. The tipping point in just about any neighborhood appears to be when the blacks reach 20%, imo.

    • Ed

Mike Brown “graduated” from a high school that was 99% Black and deemed the 2nd most violent in the state.

      • Blackfish

“Social promotion” most likely. As long as you don’t drop out, you get a diploma.

    • My understanding is that homes with “improvements” that do not meet code or do not have building permits associated with the modifications typically can not be sold.

      • They can be, depending on the permit issue, but the seller may have to post an escrow contingent on the permit being obtained. We sold one house under such conditions, posting a $750 escrow with a real estate attorny to get a fence permitted. Two years after having gotten the permit we are still having difficulty getting the escrow money returned from the Attorney.

        • We’re chronically short of closet space in our three-floor townhouse. The washer and drier are on the main level in what would make a fantastic coat closet. We also have a rough-in for a bathroom in a corner of the unfinished basement, right below (so the drier ductwork and 220-volt power would be a snap). I would love to move the laundry there, but there is absolutely no way I am doing it without an expensive permit. I guess it can wait.

Do the thought police track everything that realtors say? I imagine they must face various lawsuits from the DOJ, NAACP and other Marxist organizations.

        • WR_the_realist

Yes, the thought police do track what realtors say. They’ll use fake “buyers” who actually work for one of the enforcement agencies. Is the black “buyer” being steered away from white neighborhoods? Bad. Is the white “buyer” being told that the 90% black school district is dubious? Bad.

          • newscomments70

That makes sense…more diversity shake-downs. That is why I work less and less with the US. I am sick of these silly games; it’s time to find greener pastures.

If they don’t answer that’s your answer. They’re more than happy to tell you if the schools are great if they are great.

      • Samuel Hathaway

The prospective homebuyers shoud demand an appointment to go and take a tour of the school during school hours to see the demographics. to review the texbooks, to review extracurricular activities. They’re potentially paying through the nose in property taxes, so yes, they need to see what they are going to be paying for, for many many years to come.

      • Alden

        There is always the internet.

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

The trend has continued on through this year, with the average home selling for only $22,951 so far in 2015.

Too bad Zisser’s tire business wasn’t burned to the ground. At least he could have gotten the insurance money and then left. He’d better take the $300,000 (if he can get it) and sell now: Next year his property could be worth $1.00….but he will be taxed as if it’s worth $1 million dollars.

The next mayor, black no doubt, a Coleman Young redux I predict, will fix this by raising taxes on remaining businesses and properties and raising the minimum wage to $15/hour – – like Seattle.

It will take time. Detroit didn’t become Detroit in a day, it took some time…

        • JohnEngelman

Actually, Washington, DC is improving as young college educated whites move back in. Millennials like urban living.

For gentrification to happen there must be adequate law enforcement, and at least one source of well paying jobs.

          • Deacon Blue

There needs to be more than that, John. There needs to be a complicit media who fail to adequately write about the poor elderly being pushed out of the places they lived for the prior 3-4 decades, too. And for those who can’t quite muster the DC rental rates there is of course, always scenic and exciting Baltimore with all it has to
offer. Do you think Baltimore is at risk for gentrification, John?

The Inner Harbor/Fells Point was once nice – and may still be for all I know – as I visited the place in the middle-1990’s. Of course, Baltimore proper was an infested monkey nest even back then. Back when the crack problem was a black problem I do remember
the “goodification rate” of Baltimore was legendary. Wow. Being somewhat self aware and of moderate intelligence I just realized the level of venting and sanguine satire in my posts here at AmRen very recently.

I suppose those of us new to race realism often
become virulently angry until we progress to resigned indifference, eh, John?

The same thing is happening in Atlanta. The white population has been gradually increasing to the point that one of the candidates for mayor in 2012 was white and within striking distance in the polls. The bad news is that the suburbs are increasingly black and Hispanic.

Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression.

Control art critics and directors of art museums. Our plan is to promote ugliness and repulsive, meaningless art.

Wherever Liberals and the black racists they agitate and exploit to further their Victim narrative, we get cause and effect; just like in all the other once great cities they destroyed.

    • Looks like Camden. My grandparents (Polish) grew up in Camden, NJ. The row homes then were very nice and meticulously maintained. Then the Gov’t came in and gave the homes away to blacks for free. I have no doubt that it looks like this today. I can’t even visit my grandparents’ old home as it’s probably less safe than the Korean cease fire zone.

  • IKUredux

The entire value of real estate in America is plummeting. The value of being a so called “American” is plummeting. Being an American citizen is now just something that can be bought. Pay money and come to America and have your anchor baby. Sneak into America, and be made legal. Come to America as a student, visitor, a whatever, and just stay. Being an American, has no meaning anymore. Our Constitution is under attack. Our culture is under attack. Our very soul is under attack.

You are not English just because you are born in England. You are not German just because you are born in Germany. If an African gives birth in China, that child is not Chinese.
You are also not American, just because you were born here. Having citizenship is a completely separate issue. To be an American, means your ancestors fought and died for this country. It means your ancestors bones and tissue are part of the soil.of America. This birthright is nothing to be made light of.

The immigrants of the world who have been allowed into White countries, will never belong. Even if they become the majority. The buildings are not theirs. The streets and byways are not theirs. The land is not theirs. These foreigners, who are colonizing our nations, do not belong. Our blood, and our ancestors’ holy remains imbibe the soil with our essence. These non Whites do not belong on our hallowed ground.
We Whites have no interest in living in their countries. The rest of the world (and by that, I mean non Whites) need to start taking care of themselves. As we are constantly told: WE ARE ALL EQUAL.

It is now time for all people of the world to pull their own weight.

    • Irish

The last line of your post would of course strongly imply that all of the peoples of the world CAN pull their own weight. Well they all can’t. Which explains why they’re clamoring to get here, and the rest of the Western world.

      • IKUredux

Yeah, no sh*t. The majority of the people of the world can’t pull their own weight. What I’m asking, if we are all equal, why are our colored brothers and sisters (who are equal) unable to sustain themselves? Or, could we please come out and say what we all know to be the truth?
Despite the commercials, despite the T.V. programs, despite the movies, despite all the brainwashing, we all know the truth.
Blacks are NOT our equals. Period. And, let’s face it, no other race comes close to our achievements.

        • John Smith

          Because they’re stupid by nature?

          • IKUredux

            Yup.

      • IKUredux

Exactly. We all need to acknowledge that we are not equal. For once, the world must proclaim that the worlds peoples are not in fact equal. The Negro race is inferior. We all know it. Why does the U.N. refuse to acknowledge it? My last line was sarcastic. We Whites are tired of being told that we are all equal, when we know damn well, we are not.

If the rest of the world is equal to Whites, well. then, they don’t need our aid.

    • John Smith

Many people are leaving and renouncing their citizenship because it costs too much to remain American for so little benefit. You can’t even renounce your citizenship without paying substantial fees and some even have to pay an exit tax on wealth they liquidate.

      • 40% of all assets, liquidated or not. I for one think it may be cheaper to buy an AR-15 and stay.

      • IKUredux

        You just made my point.

  • Thanks Obama and Eric Holder: You two have helped destroy a black neighborhood even faster than its black residents could. Good job!

    • John Smith

Wouldn’t you expect America’s two most powerful negroes to destroy property values even more than ordinary negroes? And they don’t even have to live there to do it.

  • Race Heretic

    There goes the neighborhood.

    • John Smith

      Already left, IMO.

  • WR_the_realist

The white residents of Ferguson have lost hundreds of millions of dollars in property values since section 8 housing, Michael Brown, Al Sharpton, Eric Holder, black looters, lefty protesters, and a white hating mass media have ruined the place. There is of course no way to sue any of the parties responsible for the damages.

  • Anglo

This is precisely the reason I’m keeping my assets liquid. Don’t want too much holding me down when I need to pick up and go.

    • John Smith

There are much better bets in the real estate market. My folks made money on their house by selling before the crash and leaving town. Blacks had just started to move in and they were moving out – ended up selling to a Mexican with a negro wife and mixed kids with a govt. sponsored loan. They could see it happening for years, but the immediate area was still white until just a few years prior.

I believe they lost the house, based on what one of my mother’s friends said when she drove by a few years later and saw a real estate sign in the yard. Before they did, they turned a decent two-story Tudor stucco and brick into something with white and green trim and a blood red front door – Viva Mexico!

      • meanqueen

LOL! Ugh, actually, it’s really not funny.

      • I take my daughter swimming at our complex’s pool during the summers, and I pay close attention to who else is using the pool. If I ever see many blacks there, we’ll immediately list the house.

        • John Smith

When I lived in AL, blacks just came on in to my mostly white complex to use the pool and start trouble. They had to start issuing cards to residents.

          • We have keys that are serial numbered to each home, which are regularly changed and which can not easily be duplicated. Replacing a lost key costs $100.

    • Consider buying a bag of pre-1965 US silver change. Silver is right now at a 5-yr low and may go a bit lower. I like this format as people in the US should recognize & accept US silver coins for small amounts.

Of course I like all coins being a coin collector, so I’m somewhat prejudiced [sorry for being non-PC].

  • Lygeia

These people most likely had ample warning before the Ferguson riots. But it is hard to leave your home, especially the people who grew up next door to each other, married, and live across the street from his brother. It is totally understandable that they felt safe. Until now.

But it is time for these good people to go. Even if it means selling at a loss.

    • John Smith

They already would’ve sold at a loss, but it looks like their bet that they wouldn’t lose any more blew up in their faces.

    • meanqueen

Who will they sell to? Who needs to move to Ferguson? What jobs or industries are there? The value in their homes was what Lygeia already outlined – family and history and familiarity – something that is of no value to any outsider. Now that the town is overrun by violent and ignorant blacks, the homes have no allure for sure.

      • The corporate headquarters for Emerson Electric is in Ferguson. I wonder how long that will last.

  • Capn Dad

I just keep asking myself “At what point is enough enough?” At what point do we defend ourselves? Who will emerge as our leader? What will it take for us to survive? So many questions.

    • bubo

Wish I knew. It seems at least half of whites, if not more, are openly hostile to anything regarding white survival. Much less white nationalism.

    • Currently reading Mexico: Biography of Power, A History of Modern Mexico, 1810 – 1996. Mexico evolved from an extremely quiescent ViceRoyalty under Spanish rule, needing nothing more than a “palace guard” for order in the whole country, to a seething cauldron of “Generalitos”. Each little General had their own private army. These eventually posed a serious threat to & were able to overturn sucessive corrupt Federales or Federal Governments. Thus a stable Mexican state had a lot of difficulties in getting started (like for 200 years).

I expect the same type of thing to eventually [?] evolve in the USA as their Federal Government continues to lose legitimacy.

  • Young Werther

It appears that as long as weak Whites flee at the first sign of trouble instead of standing up to defend its right to exist without being bullied by militant black forces this will always be the case. What is left is the reduced numbers of Whites representing a
working class whites/blue collar segment forced to deal with Federal Occupation. The White people of that community should have come out protesting out-side interference in great numbers until the thing was resolved. By not meeting the thing head on only the poorer class of whites will suffer as a Black Supremacy anti-White power structure establishes it self via Federal Appointments and PC advocates…another Black Urban League take-over.

    • bubo

Feds use subterfuge about their plans involving blacks. They buy off local politicians and hold towns hostage dangling federal funds. They buy off out of town corporate landlords.

White homeowners get no say whatsoever. It might start as a trickle, blacks here and there, then a flood of them almost overnight. Entire thousand unit apartments filled with section 8 blacks. Thugs start free roaming and victimizing immediately.

The schools are the tipping point. Once they go black it’s over. White families have no choice but to leave at that point. Of course whitey is blamed and ridiculed for leaving. How dare they not enjoy being victimized by 10th generation welfare urchins.

It doesn’t seem to matter which party controls the government either. The result is always the same, whites lose.

      • Young Werther

All a mere excuse to avoid the obvious.

    • meanqueen

What are they supposed to do? Anything they do will be immediately labeled “white supremacist” if not worse. Anything they do that is perceived as “unfriendly” could lead to charges of harassment, hate speech, etc. I don’t know how to fight this battle. I’m not a strategist. It seems to me that the “gathering” that’s going on might be a start. Instead of trying to save infested areas when you don’t know if your white neighbor is on board or whether you are standing all alone, it’s better to migrate to a community where you can be sure, and start to secure THAT position, politically and otherwise. I don’t know if we’ll ever reclaim regions lost. Maybe the best we can hope for is to hold the regions we already have.

      • Young Werther

        “Detroit”…and all that that entails.

    • Lygeia

I don’t know that it is being weak to flee.

There are three thing all people do when confronted with somethin bad and they do it in precisely this order:
      1, Put up with it until they can’t stand it any longer;
      2. Vote with their feet and leave; and
      3. Fight back.

      • Young Werther

Odd that number 3 isn’t number one don’t you think?

        • Lygeia

Yes. But it has always been this way and always will. It is just human nature.

      • Young Werther

I have to respectfully point out that *all* people do not react in that order *all* the time, and *bad* is a relative term.
When hit or attacked many people immediately hit back or attack.
To keep doing the same thing over and over in spite of the realization that that repeated act is self-destructive is a sign of weakness or insanity, or both.
An individual who does that knowingly or not seeks to destroy himself.
A race or collective that abuses and abandons the principles that keep it alive and thriving; that continually repeats acts of self-destruction should not expect to survive.
There is the possibility that some groups over-civilize and over-intellectualize themselves to death.

    • Alden

Your last sentence happened decades ago. The government agencies were put in place by 1968.

      • Young Werther

You don’t get out much, do you? The Equal Rights Movement is far from Black Supremacy ideology. Only the ideology of BS has been openly and an persued overtly under AG Holder and the President.

  • A Freespeechzone

THIS is what happens when you stick around with the ‘diversity’ becomes the majority–you’ve got to be aware or you’ll literally ‘lose your shirt’ if you own real estate in an area like Ferguson.

Make NO Mistake, White liberals would NEVER stick around ‘diversity when it comes to losing their money—-they have no problem if you lose.

Failure to be aware is costly……

    • meanqueen

I have never known a white liberal who didn’t have an escape hatch or safety net. They always make sure that neither they nor their children will have to confront diversity.

      • When a Cultural Marxist says “Multiculturalism is good for children”, they never mean their own kids.

  • Tim

I have a property in the same kind of zone minus the riot. Concerning all the trash across the street he looks at with disgust… One day I realized it was just as easy to pick it up than continue to look at it., even though it wasn`t mine. After that I was able to command the hooks and hangers on to move since they knew and I knew that I had cleaned up the area and was taking both physical and verbal control of it…

    • Sloppo

I own a property in the same kind of zone minus the riot. The people who live in the area throw trash everywhere. The people who run the government charge me a “waste disposal fee” for cleaning up all that trash. Of course, they’re too lazy to actually do what they’re paid to do, so the trash never gets cleaned up, but they’ll lien my property and steal it from me if I don’t pay them for the work they never do.

      • Tarczan

The white man, for all his creativity, has yet to invent a trash can darkies will use.

        • Sloppo

Yes indeed. I knew this problem was somehow the white man’s fault. Thank you for explaining.

        • Perhaps if we designed them to look like a basketball hoop?

  • Light from the East

What do you expect from those n-word nuclear bombs?

    • Sloppo

If you compare Detroit to Nagasaki, it’s obvious that the n-bomb can be much more destructive than the a-bomb. A city can usually be rebuilt after an a-bomb destroys it. It’s quite difficult to rebuild a city after it has been destroyed by the n-bomb.

  • Sloppo

Perhaps Mr. Zisser is in the wrong business. He might be able to enhance his tire business by selling run-flats, but I suspect Ferguson might be a good place to open one of those wall building businesses like they have in South Africa. I can imagine that some people with nice homes and businesses might be interested to consider the purchase of a decorative ten or twelve foot steel-reinforced concrete wall with electrified razor-ribbon on top.

    • Actually the razor ribbon is not electrified, the electrified wire runs inside of & in addition to the razor wire. The electrified wire usually consists of three or so small straight wires running on little insulators. Our next door neighbor has it for his breach front property in South America & we at one time considered buying it, but the standard, non-electrified razor wire seems to be working okay presently.

      • Sloppo

You’re right. It would be difficult to mount the razor ribbon on insulators, and I understand that it’s illegal in many places to electrify razor ribbon or barbed wire. Nevertheless, what you described is just as good I think.

    • Lygeia

And a house with no windows. The blacks in South Africa pry the windows from their frames to get into the houses.

  • Alucard_the_last

Well, hoo-hoo. Did they actually think the rioting and looting was going to be good for their rotten city? I am really glad this is happening and it will only get worse. They are the next city to become Detroit. I have zero sympathy.

  • Earl P. Holt III

NEVER be among the last whites trying to escape. I know this from personal experience…

  • Official Food Desert Zoning Needed

About a week ago I posted a comment mentioning that it did not appear that there were more houses for sale in Ferguson than there were in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I am looking at buying a house at bank auction in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The one thing I neglected to say to that even a relatively distressed property in Ft. Lauderdale (foreclosed & a bank sale) is listed in the 200 K range, with my expectation that it will probably bring close to 300K at auction while the Ferguson properties are selling for closer to 20K — & those are not foreclosed.

Nothing gets people more riled up than losing their savings. You can take away their freedoms, even their lives, but take away their $ and you’ll awaken some fighting spirit. I guess Washington will enact some new laws declaring “Official Food Desert Zones” and minority business will be subsidized by Federal funds to sell bread there for 50 cents a loaf while getting paid $5 a loaf by the Government to sell there. Sounds like the only way to maintain Ferguson out of the lime light.

  • Funruffian

Gone are the days when you believed that buying a house was the fundamental initial step in building your wealth. Not anymore. And if anyone feeds you that lie they are most likely ignorant wives of millionaires or real estate agents. In the past 7 years this country has seen something that never really happened before, foreclosures en masse. The Great Depression people didn’t even have such an ordeal since the average single-family home was selling for less than 5-figures. The 21 Century has brought upon new pain and suffering and there isn’t an economic adviser who can offer sound advice other than, “Hold on to your dough, and don’t buy any real estate unless it comes from a hedge fund or passive income.

    • ekwaykway

Very true, the housing market is much worse than is being reported.

  • Hammerheart

I’m currently urging my mother to sell her home in southern California and move northward. Between the southern invasion, the lunacy of Governor Moonbeam, rampant and increasing poverty, plus the great drought she really needs to evacuate much sooner rather than later.

    • I got my Mom to move by having her stay with us in FL and then going out with her & looking for new places to live. She was 84 yo.

      • Tim

Wondering where she was living before… Dangerous or just too far?

        • suburbs West of Philly (PA). Not dangerous but a 4 story single family home which was too big for an 84 82 yo when her only son was living in Florida.

    • She needs to get out ASAP while she can still get something more than a half-eaten taco for her home.

      • Hammerheart

That’s what I keep trying to tell her, in more gentler terms.

      • John Smith

Or a taco-bender caves her head in some evening.

    • meanqueen

She needs to go far north, then. Northern CA is not the answer.

      • Hammerheart

I’m trying to get her up to Idaho where i’m heading. Northern CA is gorgeous and much cheaper than So Cal but it’s still CA which does put a damper on it.

      • Alden

She should move to Marin or western San Mateo. East Bay is being destroyed by blacks from Oakland. Sonoma Hispanic farm workers

  • BernieGoetzFan

One of the advantages of being a race realist is that you know the truth. More simple minded and compliant whites will yodel about “oh, these are fine middle class blacks” or “awww, geee the white kids do it too,” or “its just a few bad apples” or “I don’t see color – only content of character.”
We know that once the black population reaches a certain percentage (10-15%) it is all downhill as crime, racism, welfare, gangs, drugs, bad schools, traffic accidents, vandalism all increase. Ferguson is where the blacks are. Always and everywhere. If/when my city reaches that mark I will sell while the selling is good to some brain dead white liberal couple looking for a rich multicultural stew for their young son or daughter.

    • Earl Turner

      I see content of character.

The whole “oh my it’s black people again” is just a coincidence. A big coincidence. A really really really big ongoing never-ending daily coincidence.

  • Charles Martel

Even Eric Holder said that if they couldn’t stop voter ID in 2012, like they did, that bath house Barry would lose.

  • I think I’ve heard this story before. Stage One: a populist banana-republic greaserito is elected and wrecks the national economy. Stage Two: the middle class emigrates and foreign investments dry up. Stage Three: hyperinflation. Stage Four: default on foreign debt while blaming the US.

    • Stage Five: Start “disappearing” anyone who criticizes the regime.

  • John Smith

Happy St. Pat’s. It’s one of the last holidays still dedicated to white people.

    • propagandaoftruth

      Think again!

      This leprechaun’s a brownie. Barry O’bama, don’t ya know?

Hey, black folk like green beer as well as pots of Irish gold. Or Jamaican gold.

  • Irish

Couldn’t find a spot to do so, so I’ll do it now…HAPPY SAINT PATRICK’S DAY!!!

  • Does no-one have pity with these business owners? No matter what race, they probably are decent hard working people, whose life savings have been greatly reduced, or totally destroyed. If they had a mortgage, the remaining value may be below the value of the mortgage.

I think we all should show some solidarity with decent business people. No one could know that exactly Ferguson would become a war zone.

Of course, our sympathy alone will not solve their problem.

    • Sloppo

I’m sure that many of us empathize with those business owners, especially the white ones, because a large percentage of us have also been financially damaged by the blight race through real estate value destruction. I also sympathize to a lesser degree with black business owners who suffer in that way, but I recognize the fact that their ability to deal with that kind of problem is theoretically better than mine because they can confront the problems like violent black criminality with being accused of “racism”. To the degree to which is it possible, I believe each racial group should take responsibility for solving its own problems.

  • Rodney S

Those old white folks should have moved years ago. Look up the new HUD Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing program. Soon, there will be nowhere to hide from diversity.

  • Evette Coutier

The alternative is to stay in the black ghetto. To me that’s the worst possible solution. Do you have a better solution?

  • Alden

Maybe homeowners should become section 8 landlords? I know it’s a hassle but at least the government pays the rent. New York City property owners burnt down their properties for the insurance when blacks destroyed the neighborhoods were destroyed by blacks.
