OJ Simpson kept the knife he used to kill his ex-wife and friend and is now planning on selling it for $5 million to a wealthy memorabilia collector, according to reports.

Almost 20 years after the brutal murder of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman in which the murder weapon was never found, claims have emerged that OJ – who is currently serving time for kidnapping and armed robbery – actually stashed the knife.

An insider told the National Enquirer: ‘OJ wants the deal to be a well-kept secret. He’s looking for a strictly cash deal so that the money can be deposited in offshore accounts and can’t be traced directly to him.

Because police were not able to find the knife in the 1994 double murder, they could only speculate what it might have been from forensic evidence.

Prosecutors at the trial said it was likely a German stiletto with a bronze heel and a blade that measured more than six inches long. The missing knife was an integral part of OJ’s acquittal.

It was long speculated that OJ had dumped it in a trash bin at LAX before getting on a plane, therefore it ended up in a landfill site.

Other theories suggested the former NFL star took it with him to Chicago and disposed of it in a park near his hotel.

According to the National Inquirer’s source, OJ will not tell the wealthy collector where it is stashed until the money goes through but did say he initially kept it hidden at his Rockingham Estate and then moved it to Pacific Palisades, California, where he rented a house after he was acquitted.

‘They think it’s hidden someplace where it’s safe and still under his control. OJ said he’d reveal the location once a firm deal was reached,’ the source said.

Though the former NFL player is not eligible for parole until 2017 and therefore cannot use the money until then, the source said he wants to get one over on the police and Ron Goldman’s family – who won a $33.5million settlement after they filed a civil suit against OJ in 1997.

‘It’s not just about the money. OJ will get a sick satisfaction from putting one over on the cops and Ron Goldman’s family. He’d love to think he’s outsmarted them.’

Last month, Kato Kaelin, a star witness at the Simpson trial, backtracked on his testimony and said he never confirmed the disgraced former footballer killed his ex-wife.

In a recent interview, Kaelin, who gave evidence for four days in front of millions glued to their TVs, said Simpson was guilty of butchering Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman – but that he was ‘too scared’ to say so during the 1994 hearing.

However Kato has now flip-flopped on these reported statements and told TMZ: ‘I would never say something like this… I have no first hand knowledge.’

He said he was shocked by the alleged interview with the New York Post and that it did not take place.

Kaelin allegedly told the New York Post’s Cindy Adams: ‘The statute of limitations has now passed… so I can now say… yes, he did it.’

Asked why he let Simpson get away with it, he said: ‘I was too scared. I was terrified.’

The bodies of Brown Simpson and Goldman were found at her home, the victims of a vicious knife attack in front of her Los Angeles condominium.

Over the years, Kaelin’s claims implied that O.J. Simpson could know more details about the case that have not yet become public.

Simpson starred in dozens of film and TV roles both during and after his NFL career, and was most famous for his three-film stint as Detective Nordberg in the ‘Naked Gun’ series.

For 17 years, doubt has hung over his innocence despite the acquittal, and a $33.5million civil case later found him liable for her death and the death of Goldman.

The Simpson case recently returned to the headlines when one of the original prosecutors alleged that the lead defense lawyer tampered with a crucial piece of evidence.

Former Los Angeles deputy district attorney Christopher Darden accused the late Johnnie Cochran of ‘manipulating’ one of the infamous gloves that the prosecution said linked Simpson to the crime.

After Simpson struggled to fit the gloves on his hands – in one of the defining moments of the racially-charged trial that captivated the nation – Cochran famously admonished the jury: ‘If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.’

A private investigator blamed OJ’s son Jason for the murders in his book ‘OJ is Innocent and I Can Prove It,’ claims he knows who really killed Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman in 1994. And it wasn’t OJ Simpson.

In a new book,  William C. Dear alleges Simpson went on trial, and was acquitted of murder, in an effort to deflect attention from the true killer: His son Jason.

Dear says Simpson was at the crime scene — but not until after his ex-wife and her friend had been stabbed to death.

During the screening of his film in 2011 he displayed a suspected murder weapon from the night of June 12, 1994 at the DocMiami Film Festival.

Dear says two months before the murders, Jason Simpson assaulted his girlfriend. The chef also deals with ‘intermittent rage disorder,’ according to the New York Post.

‘That person who was wielding and welding that knife, had to know exactly what he was doing and he certainly had to be familiar with a knife. OJ wasn’t,’ Mr Dear said in his documentary.

Despite these alleged findings, Jason Simpson’s DNA and fingerprints were never compared to those found at the crime scene. He was never interviewed by police, either, the Post reports.

No arrests other than Simpson’s were made in the murders.

OJ Simpson was the prime suspect for the murders because he helped to cover up his son’s crimes and, in effect, allowed himself to take the fall, the book claims.

‘The LAPD and the district attorney had made a rush to judgement,’ Mr Dear said.

At the time of the trial, Judge Lance Ito said from his bench: ‘Those who say the criminal justice system itself is on trial may be right.’

The Post could not reach Jason Simpson, who is working as a chef in Miami, for a comment.

The paper reports his phone line as disconnected.

Dear, a private investigator of 30 years based in Texas, is a former Florida and Texas police officer who has been featured on Current Affair, Unsolved Mysteries and Fox TV.

Other investigations he has worked on are the Exhumation of Lee Harvey Oswald, The disappearance of the Teenage Genius and the Alien Autopsy, according to his website.

According to Dear’s publisher: ‘This book includes shocking photos and new evidence about the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Lyle Goldman, that was totally overlooked by the original investigators. Evidence that points directly to a surprising new suspect, very close to OJ.’

Now he’s implicitly admitting that he committed the murders?  I thought he was busy looking for the real murderer…somewhere on the 12th fairway.

  • Jed Sant Devi

Islam is a religion of peace, and White girls who marry buck nasty n’gro Diversity are safe.

Only a racist would doubt either of those true facts, just like they doubt the fact that Race is just a social construct.

  • RJS

I will never forget the Howard university auditorium reaction when the verdict was announced.

If you had told me we would have a black president 13 years later…wow

    • Detroit_WASP

I knew several blacks that were convinced he was guilty and darn glad he got away with it.

      • MerlinV

True. There was a time when blacks feared the White man.

  • Read “Outrage” by Vincent Bugliosi, the greatest criminal lawyer mind to ever walk the earth. He has over 300 pages of evidence that beyond a shadow of a doubt will show you that OJ did it. OJ had the means, the motive, the temperment and the opportunity. A friend of mine met Johnny Cochrane at a party a few years ago and walked right up to him and asked him “Johnny, did OJ do it?”  The response was : “What do you think?”

    • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Outrage is the best account of the entire mess, IMO.  Too bad Bugliosi wasn’t the prosecutor at the time instead of the lame Marcia Clark who said while pointing at OJ:  “Nobody wants to do anything to this man!”

Uh, Marcia, oj SLASHED two people to death!!  Tell that to Ron Goldman.

Larry Elder reports that before Cochrane took OJs case, he was overheard at an LA party saying “Of course OJ did it!”

      Bon

      • Why would they assign this high profile case to the most inept embarassing attorney in the DA’s office, (Marcia Clark)? Why would they move the venue from Brentwood to downtown LA with a “downtown/urban” jury? Why would they appoint a buffoon judge like Lance Ito?. AHA,. the light bulb went off..the liberal lunatics who run LA didn’t want another “Rodney King” riot. They wanted OJ to get away with murder so the natives would not go on a rampage. Anything to appease the the natives, anything at all, even murder.

    • blight14

Mark Fuhrmans book is also a must-read…….’Murder in Brentwood’ is the title…..

  • Epiminondas

Ask your doctor to lower the dosage.

  • C_C_Conrad

If I had been on the jury I would have voted – not guilty.  1. It wasn’t a crime.  2. She was already dead, once you go black you don’t come back.  3. Putting OJ in prison would just raise my taxes.

  • The__Bobster

For 17 years, doubt has hung over his innocence despite the acquittal, and a $33.5million civil case later found him liable for her death and the death of Goldman.
    ___________

Doubt over his innocence? I never doubted he was guilty.

  • tickyul

Factual evidence proved beyond a reasonable doubt that OJ did it.

He got off via jury nullification….AKA….they let OJ off because he is black like them.

  • dhs

This illustrates one black man’s ability to think under pressure.  If OJ hid the knife at his residence, rather than discard it, he  demonstrated this capacity. While  white people engaged in expensive and futile searching, the knife was  in the most obvious place. Perhaps OJ is a Poe fan.

  • What about baby Jason ? Not enough evidence for prosecution ?

    • Oil Can Harry

Not really. The theory about OJ’s son being the culprit is intriguing but the evidence points to Orenthal James.

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Looks like OJ finally found the real killer.

I thought the knife was in the bag OJ handed to his lawyer, Robert Kardashian.

And, why would anyone buy a knife used to kill someone?

Is the mystery buyer 0bama?  Maybe he plans to proudly display the knife in the oval office as an example of African-American history —  when an oppressed black —  OJ —  overcame vicious White racism “against all odds” and triumphed against The Man.

I’m sure Ron Goldman is ALL over this — I heard him say once that he’ll hound OJ all the way to his grave to collect the judgement he won against OJ in civil court.

    Bon

Image is from the original article:  Though the murder weapon was never found, forensic evidence at the trial pointed to the fact it was similar to this one

    • blight14

Goldman seems to constantly fulfill certain stereotypes…..

      • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Agreed. But that gives him access to the media that you and I can only dream about — he’s been on local radio in LA as a guest speaker for years screaming about the monstrous injustice of the OJ case.

If anyone deserves to be hounded for the rest of his life, it is oj simpson.

        Bon

        • blight14

Why hound OJ, he removed two undesirables from the gene pool……more likely he should receive a reward…..

          • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Are you talking about Ron and Nicole or Robert Kardashian and Johnny Cochrane?

          • blight14

The former two……..the latter pair would be a bonus……

    • Bon, don’t you mean Fred Goldman – Ron’s father.

      • Bon, From the Land of Babble

Yes, of course, sorry. It’s been a long week. Will change immediately!!

I once heard Fred Goldman state in an interview that he often heard the media refer to his murdered son, Ron, as merely “Nicole’s friend” — as if Ron were a side note or minor player in the oj simpson case, tossed aside with no identity as if he didn’t matter or even exist — and that this (understandably) infuriated him.

Fred Goldman’s rage and anger at the lack of justice for his son is certainly understandable.

        Bon

  • John Bonham

Remember the scene in Fatal Attraction where Micheal Dougals wrestle the knife away and they both lay there exhausted?
Exactly .. You watch too many movies.. This is not an attack, just an observation..

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

    No.

OJ is nothing more than a murderous, low IQd black thug who viciously and repeatedly slashed two Whites until they bled to death.

This made him a hero in the black community — a community he had scorned in life, i.e., by living as far away from blacks as possible, dumping his black wife for the Whitest female he could find and hanging out on the golf course with old rich, Whites.

    Bon

    • The fate of Nicole Brown Simpson is the fate of most white women that go with black men. She made her choice. The real tragedy is the white guy, Ron Goldman, that got killed because he tried to return a pair of sunglasses. A lesson for all of us, never go out of your way for a coal burner, keep your distance at all costs.

  • Bon, From the Land of Babble

OJ was convicted because Gil Garcetti moved the trial from White/Jewish Santa Monica to Brown/Black downtown LA — Garcetti claimed this was done for “security reasons” and because the Santa Monica courthouse was “in disrepair.”  Nonsense,   it was to seat a non-White jury.

Later, in a video taken of oj simpson after he was acquitted, he is shown pointing at Gil Garcetti’s home and yelling “A*hole!! ”  Some thanks to his savior —  the man who moved the trial venue for racial reasons to favor oj and appointed the lamest DAs he could find.  A jury consultant found that prosecutor Marcia Clark had among the highest negative ratings she’d ever seen, particularly among black women.  The consultant was fired.

Chris Darden said in an interview directly after the trial all it took was one look at the mostly black jury to know he’d never get a conviction in this case.

IMO, a Santa Monica jury would have convicted oj for murder — it was a Santa Monica jury that later found oj criminally liable for wrongful death with the victims’ families and awarded them $33.5 million dollars in compensatory and punitive damages.

This is the judgement Ron Goldman has been trying to collect ever since.

FTR:  Bugliosi would have been a hell of a better choice for SCOTUS than the last two appointees — kagan and sodamayor.

    Bon

    • diamond

No it wasn’t you delusional moron, that courthouse would’ve never worked for the trial, someone actually being sentenced actually escaped from their by kicking down a weak wall and hiding in their(this was while the O.J. trial was going on mind you) and it took many hours to find the guy, and the fact that major cases are no longer tried in that courthouse proves that the case was supposed to be moved downtown.

      • Bon, From the Land of Babble

LOL. That is exactly what a psychopath would say.

  • MerlinV

Psychoanalysis of passion murders speaks otherwise. She was all but decapitated.

  • I’d say he needs money.

    • Thomas Katt

To buy smokes from the prison commissary …

  • There was a British made investigative documentary which came to the same conclusion, that OJ’s son Jason, a chef, did it – this was made about 8-10 years ago, so what is being alleged here is not new.    Jason really liked his butchers knives and would carry them around everywhere.   The motive, according to the British detectives who did the investigation, was that Jason had invited Nicole and Ron to his restaurant and when they didn’t show up he felt he was being insulted and was enraged.   We all know blacks can get enraged over the slightest perceived “insult”, so this is a convincing motive for a black if less so for a white.   I always believed OJ did it too until I saw this program – the evidence they found was highly convincing.    If true, then OJ should have been  convicted and put away for a long time as an accessory or accomplice to murder, and a perjuror of course.

  • tickyul

    Me too!!!

The OJ verdict made me realize without a doubt that Urban Americans and Whites, for the most part, dislike and distrust each other.

That is why the media has to spin or cover up stories of Urban American barbarity…..so idiots can live in their fantasy world.

    • diamond

      You’re a low life POS

  • I worked in the City of LA for 30 yrs. I know the mentality of the liberals in charge and have had dealings with City Hall and  with DA’s. This all makes perfect sense. read the book “Outrage” .  Bugliosi presents nothing but common sense arguements. You sound as if you have read the “party line” propaganda they would have us all believe. Oh.. and by the way…OJ did it.

  • SLCain

I once came across the Rotten.com website in the course of a web-search for something or another.  That website (and it’s affiliate site NNDB) appears to be run by satanists.  They seem to revel in everything that is sick, immoral, evil, and malevolent.  I would not patronize them.

  • Pat Kittle

A couple years back Bill Maher had a black guest who gleefully admitted blacks commonly thought O.J. was guilty all along.

Bill raised an eyebrow — for a moment it looked like Mr. “Politically Incorrect” would seize this golden opportunity to blow the lid off a monumental example of lethal anti-white hypocrisy.

    But he didn’t.

  • The Worlds Scapegoat

I think he is making things up just to get the money.  The knife is gone.

  • MikeofAges

Drug dealer, depending on which they are, have a characteristic “hit” method. Decapitation was the favorite of the Central Americans. Gangsterism is pretty universal. What race, what nationality does not produce a gangster subculture?

    • Disqus_S

They would have done a better job. Because her head wasn’t completely cut off. You’re probably young, but OJ did it. Anyone who doesn’t think so is just lying to themselves.

  • diamond

    Typical white ignorance.
