The heads of five secondary schools in the southern town of Karlskrona are asking hundreds of pupils to demonstrate against the right-wing political party, which says it wants to “keep Sweden Swedish”.
Karlskrona is one of several local areas where the anti-immigration Sweden Democrats hold the balance of power.
One of the heads, Marina Eriksson, says there is not a lot of difference between the party and Nazism.
The protest is being held at the same time as a yearly demonstration denouncing the holocaust.
