AP, Oct. 30
SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio police officer has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman, the second officer charged this year with rape.
Ruben Saenz, 28, was charged Sunday in connection with a traffic stop Saturday morning. A woman said he stopped her for a traffic violation, followed her home and assaulted her, said Sgt. Gabe Trevino.

“Based on information we got at the scene. . . we have reason to believe the offense did occur,” he said in Sunday’s online edition of the San Antonio Express-News.
San Antonio police Officer Dean Gutierrez was charged in July with sexually assaulting a transsexual. He was indicted by a federal grand jury in October.
