At Justice Department, Perez Vows Action on Hate Crimes

More news stories on Hate Crimes and Hoaxes

Carrie Johnson, Washington Post, Dec. 22, 2009

The leader of the Justice Department’s civil rights unit has decried a recent spate of hate-crime cases across the United States and pledged to make prosecuting violent “equal-opportunity bigots” a top priority in the coming year.

The remarks of Thomas E. Perez, who took over the Civil Rights Division about two months ago, came on the same day as federal prosecutors in Roanoke won a criminal conviction against William A. White, a leader of the neo-Nazi group American National Socialist Workers Party, for making threats and intimidating a witness against him.

And last week, a federal grand jury in Pennsylvania charged two white men in connection with the fatal beating of a Latino man walking home from a community festival in July 2008, nearly six months after a local jury had acquitted the pair of the most serious charges against them.

Perez said in a speech on Friday to the American Constitution Society, and in comments to reporters, that he was “shocked” by what he described as the feeble record of his predecessors under President George W. Bush in bringing hate-crimes cases.

“I spent the better part of a decade prosecuting hate-crime cases, and I know what they can do to a community,” he told reporters last week. “I got a tour of the route that James Byrd Jr. was taken as he was dragged toward his death. I saw the utter inhumanity of man toward man.”

Last week, Obama signed a spending measure that will give the civil rights division funds to hire 102 staff members, many of whom will be lawyers assigned to hate-crimes investigations. In October, after more than a decade of consideration, Congress expanded hate-crime protection to cover sexual orientation.

But the Obama administration’s ambitious agenda on hate crimes and other civil rights issues has been complicated by controversies, including a dust-up over why the Justice Department dropped a voter intimidation case in Philadelphia this year against members of the New Black Panther Party. The move rankled some career lawyers and Republican lawmakers, who successfully petitioned for an internal ethics investigation into why the case had been dismissed.

Perez’s confirmation was held up for months in part because of the Black Panther case, which was brought at the end of the Bush years and abandoned before Perez got to the Justice Department under Obama.

Rep. Frank R. Wolf (R-Va.) inserted language into the omnibus budget bill late last week that requires Justice Department leaders to share the results of the ethics probe with lawmakers.

Perez told reporters that “we welcome the results” of the investigation and confirmed that subpoenas had been received “for a number of current and former employees,” but he declined to comment in depth about the case.

The civil rights unit during George W. Bush’s presidency was often controversial for its focus on religious discrimination and for hiring practices that the department’s inspector general concluded were influenced by political motivations. But conservatives are watching the department’s new leaders for signs that they might be falling into their own political traps.

If we encourage everybody to deluge this anti-white racist with hate crime investigations against whites every time he turns around, plus sending complaints to Congress. it’s just possible we might cause some very unintended consequences for this Hispanic whiner.

Obviously most hate crimes are black on white, yet they’re never pursued. With all these people banding together to protest in the last year or two, which appears to me to number in the millions, certainly we can apply the proper pressure.

Never underestimate what a good, vigorous writing campaign can do.

Missing from this article is a list of real or alleged hate crimes where blacks or Hispanics victimize whites. Then again, the Washington Post would need to have every tree on Earth cut down to list those.

Prediction: Within a year, we’ll find out for sure that Bill White was another Hal Turner type working for the other side/FBI/ATF/SPLC/ADL.

The dragging death of James Byrd (black) of Jasper, Texas, on 6/7/98 was matched by the dragging death of Ken Tillery (white) of Jasper, Texas, on 1/19/02. The Tillery murder was definitely a hate crime and cruelly carried out.

While one dragging death does not wipe out another dragging death, anyone called upon to defend the diverse white American peoples from generalized vilification needs to become aware of the two matching deaths, and to note that neither the dominant media culture nor the federal Department of Justice will discuss them together.

A few weeks earlier this year, the Yahoo search engine for “James Byrd Murder” showed 1,640,000 items, but a search for “Ken Tillery Murder” showed only 12,400 items.

Don’t let the white-hating bigots fool you.

What is important to remember is that no atrocity committed against Whites is a hate crime, and that any imagined slight suffered by a minority is one. Perez’ mandate is to prosecute as many Whites as possible. The purpose is to intimidate and silence all White opposition. It will not just be individuals who are brutalized by Perez but Whites in general. Those who are prosecuted will merely be object lessons.

And there is a lot of debate about the murder of James Byrd being a hate crime. The three white perps and Byrd all knew each other from prison, and this was essentially a continuation of a prison dispute, only on the outside. I understand that several other black ex-cons were in this dispute circle, but weren’t there at the time. I think that if it were the other way around, three of those blacks against one white, something similar would have happened, but the media would have covered it up.

If you google “hate crimes FBI” you will find the official FBI web site, and you will learn that while there is a Hispanic victim category, there is no Hispanic perpetrator category. Hispanics who kill Blacks are White, according to the FBI.
In my view, this alone invalidates all “hate crime” laws.

note that this too will be applied with ‘brown colored’ glasses on. black on white hate crime, although common, will not be pursued, how can a black hate a white ? it’s just simply a mistake. on the other hand any white offending a black is immediately called racism and is spewed all over the US by the media circus, and is OF COURSE a hate crime, which will now have federal penalties.

There may be a silver lining: three more years of racial jihad against white people should get nearly every one of us out to vote in the next Presidential election. In ‘07, 56% who DID vote cast ballots against Obama, so how many likely will after 4 years of Panthers at the polls?

It’s low comedy and farce to hear a White Spaniard talking about “hate crimes”.

This from a descendant of the most murderous, brutal and rapacious colonizers to descend on the Americas? It’s ridiculous.

Sr. Perez is merely mad that his gang didn’t win, couldn’t conquer their age old enemy, the Anglo-Saxon Protestants. So now they have to get back by playing the victim, and pretending that defeat is some sort of oppression that the Anglos inflicted on them.

All over the world people rejoice when the Anglos defeat the Spaniard oligarchies and replace them with liberal democracies. Or at least try….

Knoxville murder/rape case: A group of blacks pick out a white couple and rape, rorture and then murder them.

Not a hate crime because they “socialized” with whites.

So I guess Hitler himself had no problem with blacks, as he shook the hand of a black athelete and even made conversation with him (also known as socializing)at the Olympics? That’s the type of logic these lunatics follow when dealing with blacks.

The bottom line is that hate-crime laws only go one way, and everyone knows it. If I saw Thomas E. Perez in public I’d have quite a few not so nice things to say to his face. What a hypocrite.

The reality is that Black against White crime dwarfs White against Black crime.

The true crime picture is further distorted because Hispanics and Middle Easterners are included with Whites under the “offenders” category, yet they merit their own ethnic category under “victims”. This is intellectual dishonesty, my friends.

Further, many mullatos, quadroons, octoroons, and quintroons pass as White in today’s world, unfortunately.

The truth is that the interracial crimes committed by minorities dwarfs the interracial crimes committed by Whites.

What’s more is that science has the ability right now to predict behavior and outcomes based on DNA. The truth is that intelligence determines behavior, and behavior determines outcomes. Intelligence is genetic. No amount of political correctness or outright lies from egalitarians can change that fact.

What really angers me is what does a minority, in specific a black murderer have to do to be convicted of a hate crime when killing a white? I see these heinous murders being committed all over America by blacks with none being charged with a hate crime. Here in KCMO the two black ambush murderers of bicyclist Robert Osborne only got 15 years each for their crime. They shot at him once at night while he was riding his bicycle from work, missed, then drove further down the road to try again. It was at this point he was killed. Obama has loaded the judicary with his hand picked white hating lackeys. Even the AG of the United States, the highest law enforcement officer in the land was quoted as saying he felt he had been a “victim of racism” They just can’t help but to pull the race card even when at the top of the heap.Goes to show this persons lack of character and impartiality. Sad days ahead for white Americans. In a few more years we will closely resemble Zimbabwe or S. Africa under black rule.

What this fraud is really talking about is making an example out of the rare white criminal who targets a non-white for his crime. He will do nothing about real hate directed at white victims at the hands of non-whites.

On this topic, please be aware that the two boys in Shenandoah, PA who were convicted of simple assault in the beating death of Luis Ramirez (covered by AmRen)have now been charged in federal court with hate crimes (such laws should be unconstitutional anyway). They have been denied bail, and some comments by the judge indicate that it will be a kangaroo court. They face up to life in prison if convicted.

In addition, some local police officers have been charged with covering this up along with other charges such as extortion. I guess in America anymore, when it comes to suspected crimes against PC minorities, they keep trying until they get the correct answer. Welcome to Amerika.

My personal views on what might constitute hate crimes are the following. 1)A government that puts illegal alien border criminals ahead of the American citizenry in almost every way. 2)Leaders that continue to carry out and enforce affirmative action, quotas and hiring preferences for any person who comes to the U.S. Yesterday and isn’t European American,3)An administration that bails out Wall Street criminals and the banks that serve them with American taxpayer money, etc., just to give a few examples. These are REAL hate crimes, in my opinion.

Obama and his ilk, know that this issue is a real double edged sword. If whites can ever orgainze to the point that they can start demanding the proscuting black on white crimes but also use it as a way of venting grievences that the hispanics and blacks will wish they never heard of the phrase “hate crimes”.
