American Renaissance Special Report, April 9, 2008

A reader reports that if you try to post a link to American Renaissance on the wall of a Facebook profile, Facebook rejects it.

The message that comes up is as follows:

“Content Rejected: Some of the content you included in your message is not allowed by Facebook.”

Readers are encouraged to let us know of similar experiences on websites. We also want to know when readers find that a website had changed its policy to permit links to AR.

Just add a link to AR on your profile’s contact info. It will show up when someone looks at your FB page.

This is a great opportunity for an AR supporter to start a rival website that can also reject and censor content.

Imagine a facebook alternative that rejects links to the SPLC or articles by Tim Wise.

While other minorities whine about being excluded and demand change and representation, we should voice our opposition to this policy but we should also jump at the chance to create an online website of our own that supports our view, our people, our standards.

I use facebook and wasn’t aware of this ban. I will definately show my support for American Renaissance on my profile now…somehow.

At the California Employmend Development Department, in one of the three offices in San Francisco, the American Renaissance website is blocked, but the website for the hate group Nation of Islam is not blocked.People of Color are permitted to spew unlimited hatred, but us white honkeys cannot.

This story is wrong. I just logged onto my facebook profile and listed amren.com as my website and had no problems. Either facebook has already backed down or there was never a problem to begin with. Either way, amreners should use this story as a motivation to post amren.com on their profiles.

My local public library bans ARMEN as well. When try to go to the amren.com a blank page comes back and say something to the effect of, “page blocked reason: hate site.”

No problem going to NAMBLA’s website though.

I wonder if links to La Raza are allowed.

There is a “Fans of Jared Taylor” on Facebook.

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2231541229

Never had any problems from FB.

There were up to 58 members at one time.

Yes this is more common then I thought possible. I went to the Ventura Co, Cal library to check my e-mail and view AR on line. AR was filtered out on the screen it stated AR contains “hate speech” I questioned the librarian about this and I stated that
“filters are to used only with coffee makers” She replyed I would have use an unfiltered pc of which their were only two. One was in use and the other down for repair. The library had a total of six pc’s. The library in Burbank,Cal has a format that you have to sign in on before you can get on line. proving you are over 18 years of age. This can take up to about 10min’s of the 60min’s you are allowed on line. Censorship is alive&well in some libraries. At the local city college in Ventura the pc’s were all unfiltered and free Thank God.

Good old fashion censorship at its finest. I’m black conservative. I support the Confederacy and even think the country would be better off if the South would have won. I read this site daily and find nothing offensive about it. I use some of the articles on my talk radio show. I get so tired of so-called tolerant people and organizations claiming their tolerant but deep down, they are not. Since facebook.com is banning material, lets ban material from the NAACP, SCLC, Democratic Party, Moveon.org and 911truth.com. If you ban one, you must ban all.

This is sickeningly common, and we all know these same websites would never have a problem with pro-Black, pro-Hispanic, or pro Asian websites. However, anything pro-White is instantly made out to be Hilerian, and dangerously racist. Let’s face it, Whites are the true oppressed people in todays world. We are denied our rights to freedom of speech, and even expressing pride or concern for our people, is made out to be not only sinful, but almost outlawed. The sad thing is, it has become so common now, that Whites accept it, and are even fearful of standing up for their rights, for fear of being branded the most shameful of words—RACIST.

I had my own computer block CofCC and David Duke for a time. I emailed customer service and they directed me how to re-set some sort of setting. I noted to them that it was very weird that the settings came “un-set”. Anybody ever heard of that?

I haven’t had any problem with Facebook censoring Amren.com links. I was in the Jared Taylor group on facebook for a while, never had any problems with it. I also find amren.com’s links work on other’s profiles when I click on them.

I actually was able to log into amren.com at my local library, so I don’t think they’re censoring anything with political content. I wasn’t able to log into www.theonion.com, a parody news site, because it does contain offensive images.

MYSPACE forum allowed me to post the entire article of “Africa in our Midst” and it was commented on many, many times favourably.

I have been visiting this site fairly regularly for just under a year now. I came upon it after googling something on race relations because I was heart-sick at the gap between the reality and the MSM’s treatment of it. Not to mention the cowardly silence on the part of so many, which only enables those who truly are up to no good.

As I’ve said before here I’m attracted to the “Realism” part of “Race Realism” just as I am with “Immigration Realism”, and I think that the Inverted World we are living in will do all it can to continue inverting Free Speech to Hate Speech.
This is happening for a number of reasons. One of them has to do with Humanities Love/Hate (mostly Hate unfortunately) relationship with Reality itself.

We should realize that this whole PC-hysteria, which is very real and disturbing and sad, is not a first in OUR culture, the West. As Nietzsche’s prophetic warnings made perfectly clear, we’ve been through a number of periods filled with some kind of repentence and redemption training. In each case they degenerated into tremendous epileptic epidemics, orgies of “feeling”. If insanity is, as some have said, repeating the same failure expecting different results, like a sick gambler, then mankind is indeed insane, since every attempt he gets he tries to create a heaven on earth, and each time he does he turns our nightmares into daymares and doesn’t stop until he’s exhausted himself.
St. Vitus’ and St. John’s dances of the Middle Ages, the Reformation, the Enlightenment too, the Russian Revolution. The only obstacle to the orgy of “feeling” the Left is just itching to give its fullest possible expression to, is the White race. So they are working tirelessly to eliminate it. It’s not enough to call this stupid, it’s insane!
Having said that, I do have to say that, for all of my respect for Mr. Taylor, he himself routinely practices censorship, and everyone here knows it.

Someone’s going to post on every hate site SPLC doesn’t like, no, post on every single blog somewhere SPLC doesn’t like, and then go out and do a Tim McViegh or 9/11 type crime, and then literally thousands of us will be rounded up for safekeeping. There will probably be a few liberals swept up but they’ll probably get out of it. I’m sure they’re keeping track of us already. Notice in AmRens disclaimer, they say they’ll never reveal information about us, unless the law tells them they have to. They never say that they will notify us if they’ve given up this information because they’ve been told they have to. To be honest, I doubt they even need AmRens cooperation to get our IP address, our names and addresses. I’m still going to post here anyway. It would take a braver soul than me to ‘facebook’ AmRen.

Speaking of censorship, does anyone know what happened to the South Africa Sucks blog?

southafricasucks.blogspot.com gives me a “blog has been removed” message

Posted by at 11:46 AM on April 10

I am lucky on this topic. I am so old and computer stupid that I have NO IDEA what you all are even talking about.

Posted by LOGIC at 4:54 PM on April 11

11:46 AM POSTER: Hope this helps.

The ‘South Africa Sucks’ blog is now at http://southafricanhell.blogspot.com/

Facebook?
Frankly, I haven’t the vaguest idea what you are talking about.

When publishing articles such as this, wouldn’t it be a considerate idea to give us some clue?

Indeed it is. But not only there. I’ve had that happen in the US too. But be thankful it’s so (relatively) easy there. I went to use a computer in an Internet place in Milan (Italy) last week, across from the Central Station. (Arab-run, of course, like all of them.) I had to provide them my passport! That’s the first time I’ve ever been asked for that, anywhere. Apparently things are tightening up. I didn’t have it on me, but they reluctantly accepted my New York State driver’s license instead, which seemed to baffle them. (PS. I wasn’t even using it for Amren.)

“they reluctantly accepted my New York State driver’s license instead, which seemed to baffle them.”

Most (almost all) foreign countries have national identity cards which they’re required to carry. The USA is practically unique in not having one. When you show them a driver’s licence from the US, they assume it’s the American equivalent.
