Illegal Immigrant Sentenced to 4 Life Sentences for Rape, Sodomy of Minors

The Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office has charged 40-year-old Michael Rodriguez Garcia with rape and sodomy of two minor victims.
Garcia, who came to America illegally, was convicted by a jury and sentenced to four life sentences to run concurrently for the rape and sodomy charges. He also received an additional 10 years on the charge of enticing a child for purposes of performing sexual acts.

District Attorney Hallie Dixon said, “While many people immigrate to our great country for noble reasons, when a person comes here illegally and then commits crimes, especially when they victimize children, they should have to stay here–in our prisons for the rest of their lives, so that we know they won’t be victimizing some other child under some other identity ever again.”
