Man Arrested Over Allegedly Racist Twitter Remarks About Fabrice Muamba

Guardian (London), March 18, 2012

A man has been arrested after allegedly making racist remarks on Twitter relating to critically ill footballer Fabrice Muamba.

The 21-year-old man from Pontypridd, south Wales, was arrested on Sunday.

Muamba, 23, is fighting for his life in hospital after suffering a heart attack and collapsing during an FA Cup tie.

The Bolton Wanderers midfielder fell to the ground during the live televised match against Tottenham Hotspur at the London team’s White Hart Lane ground.

Thousands of wellwishers have expressed their sympathy since the incident during Saturday’s early evening match.

A steady stream of fans visited Wanderers’ Reebok Stadium to place flowers, shirts and other tributes at the ground.

Thousands more left messages of support on a series of Get Well Soon Fabrice Muamba tribute pages on Facebook.

South Wales police confirmed the arrest of a man for allegedly making “racially offensive” comments on Twitter.

Officers did not confirm that Muamba was the target of the remarks.

However, police forces throughout the UK regularly take action against those who post racially offensive remarks on Twitter but rarely feel the need to issue a public statement indicating it has happened.

The statement said: “South Wales police have arrested a 21-year-old male from the Pontypridd area in connection with racially offensive comments made on the social network site Twitter. The male is currently being held in custody at Swansea Central police station.”

Perhaps Fabrize Mugabe should be the next Prince Of Wales to make up for the horror and humiliation of someone making a racially insensitive remark about dear Fabrize.

He’s just another victim of the Emma West treatment.  He will probably never see the light of day again… free speech is a thing of the past, both in the UK and here in the USA.

What happened with those four Muslim kids who weren’t used to drinking but got away with attempted murder?  The UK is as anti-White as they come.

Britain invented free-speech, as we know it today. During the 70’s, American style political correctness came to the UK. Now every aspect of our society is saturated by it. Even Twitter isn’t safe.
The Leftist/Cultural-Marxists must be very proud of what they have done to our countries.
There is no free speech, no humour, zero sense of proportion; just the dread hand of the state, dictating what is, and what is not, acceptable.
Makes me proud to be British(sic).

Since I’m not in the UK, I can ask if the British of 100 years ago ever envisioned such a primitive-looking creature playing on one of their teams.

Just when you thought things were bad (which they are) in the US regarding political correctness, Britain manages to step it up a notch with insanity such as this. Being arrested for exercising free speech, subjective speech at that! It was this kind of tyranny that inspired the independence of the original thirteen colonies from the British Empire back in 1776.

I’m guessing that you can “tweet” all day and night about how the Queen is a disgusting white so-and-so and the police will never come knocking at your door.

Orwell’s 1984 Thought Police at work. The once Great British Empire is destroying itself, its people and its culture on behalf of the ThirdWorld. Self flagellating white guilt at its best…

I think they know what the average Brit thinks about this, that’s why the comments are closed. Any uprising or objections opposing their authoritarianism must be supressed as all costs.

That about says it all really. I’m sorry, LoyalWhiteBriton, but I have more rights than you in South Africa of all places. If freedom of speech is not protected, when typing a few obscene words on a social media site, then there is no real reason to protect it at all.

The reason for freedom of speech is to protect the speech that no one wants to hear, the kind of speech that sends shivers down your spine. The speech that NEEDS to be protected because if it is not, then the truth is to be silenced!

Do lefties realise, you don’t need to protect speech that the authorities agree with, as they won’t come knocking down your door for that? The only speech that needs protection is the speech that is controversial, the speech that goes against the grain and states what everyone else dare not.

If you won’t protect it, then scrap all ‘freedom of speech’ legislation as it ain’t worth the piece of paper it is written on.

Liam Stacey, 21, today pleaded guilty to inciting racial hatred after writing ‘LOL [Laugh out loud]. **** Muamba. He’s dead!!! #haha.’

And we’re supposed to be upset over that, when the F-word, or the MF-word, is every other word out of the mouths of certain ghetto blacks?

Seems to me that all they need to arrest you and place you in jail is to declare you an online troll on social media sites. I don’t think they can claim freedom reigns in Britain when they can arrest you for being, excuse my language, an arse.

“The swiftness of the arrest demonstrates how seriously police forces are
taking the posting of potentially criminal comments on social
    networking sites by so-called “trolls”.”

Oh, it’ll happen alright; “As sure as eggs are eggs”, as my granddad used to say.
PC momentum is increasing, fast, and won’t be stopped until the revolution.

I can not wait to hear the press ask Febrize Mugabe if he forgives the evil, libelous, nasty white male for making a life changing, if not life ending, comment!  I am sure Febrize will graciously forgive the miscreant and then the press will go all gooey over how nobel the footballer is!
