Child Shoots Another Child on Playground in Hillcrest Heights

Matt Ackland, My Fox D.C., July 1, 2011

Prince George’s County Police say a five-year-old boy shot a four-year-old boy on a playground in the 4400 block of 23rd Parkway in Hillcrest Heights.

Police are still trying to figure out where the five-year-old boy was able to access the gun. They believe he found it in the home, but don’t know whose gun it is.

Police say the bullet passed right through the upper part of the four-year-old’s torso.

{snip} Authorities say the gunshot wound is not life-threatening.

Prince Georges County is the fabled “wealthiest black county in America!” So…how’s that working out?

…the top county for Black people (Prince George’s) can’t even get a major retailer to set up shop within its borders. It tells you something about the state of Black America when the top Black county has a population with such poor overall credit that special loans had to be made in an effort to ensure home ownership in the first place.

It tells you all you need to know about the state of Black America when Prince George’s has schools that consistently put up poor marks and ranks as one of the worst academically in all of Maryland.

If black children are shooting other black children, then white adults can’t be allowed to have guns. I love how the left thinks.

Also love the fact that Washington D.C. has some of the toughest gun control laws in the country, and yet this kid still managed to get his hands on a gun.

Anarcho-tyranny. It’s a shame I didn’t discover that idea until Sam Francis died. So powerful.

This incident certainly adds to the argument that the black middle class is largely illusory or transitory. Most of the PG Co. blacks probably work in DC and are products of Affirmative Action and pass-’em-on grading. Obviously, many of them continue to behave just like ghetto blacks.

Were both of these kids black or just the victim as usual?

I’m almost sure the gun is registered and of course the child found the safe place to keep it, and removed the gun lock placed there by a responsible adult.

Aren’t you also sure of this scenario? Plus, it’s a white mans fault.

I blame the children’s parents more. Why leave a gun in a place where a five year old child can reach

  • Michael C. Scott

The black middle class IS largely illusory, Olewhitelady. It’s the result of decades of government hiring of the most incompetant people they can find, provided they’ve got the right skin color. Giving someone a high-paying government job, however, does not make them more intelligent, more responsible, or better parents.

HEY! I even bet the weapon will, through ballistics, be traced to a murder! The weapon WAS in the possession of blacks after all!
