Annie Ilonzeh Is the New Star of Charlie’s Angels

Annie Ilonzeh, the American actress best known for her role as ‘Maya Ward’ on the long running medical drama ‘General Hospital’, has been cast as one of the three leads in ABC’s forthcoming ‘Charlie’s Angels’ series, according to the UK’s Daily Mail. {snip}
{snip} The updated version will feature a new trio of lead characters, ‘Kate’, ‘Abby’ and ‘Marisa’, and the show will be based in Miami. 27-year-old Ilonzeh is set to play ‘Kate’, a smart and athletic ex-policewoman who is a master of martial arts and described as being “the most serious.but also knows how to let her hair down and have a great time”. {snip}
Although the two other lead roles are yet to cast, it was previously confirmed that the ‘Hart To Hart’ actor Robert Wagner will be voicing the character of ‘Charlie’.
