‘Black Flight’ the New ‘White Flight’ in Detroit?

Where are moving to? In ten years whites will have to flee again. This is unfair. Soon whites will have to be millionaires to have safe and affordable housing.

I dare say the economy is to blame. Why go to the effort to mug someone when they have no money. Time to move to greener pastures.

Not too surprising here. There simply are not enough white residents LEFT in Detroit to continue the “white flight.” The city has a population that, I believe, is almost 90% black! And, let us keep in mind that many of the “white” residents that still remain in that city are actually of Arabian background, and have businesses there. Finally, any white person that would not flee a 90% black city, probably wouldn’t leave no matter how bad it got. All the whites who had any normal fear instinct have already left, period. Only a few remain, for whatever reason. Again, no surprise.

They’re not fleeing other blacks so much as flocking to be around whites.

Hark! If you want to know a dirty little secret: Blacks can’t stand living around each other - who can blame them? So they move into the safe white suburbs… safe that is until their numbers reach critical mass — which is around 10% of any given neighborhood — then that neighborhood becomes untenable for whites; hence, another cycle of white-flight begins. This is what those integrationists have wrought.

In some countries, like Turkey and Japan, you’ll run into people wearing tshirts with English gibberish printed on them. Couple years ago, I was at an internet cafe in Turkey when I saw a guy who was wearing a tshirt that had “Black Flight” written on it.
I laughed then explained to him what White Flight meant and how black flight would be its opposite, ie.. blacks would be fleeing the whites moving into their neighborhoods.
He laughed and then said what happens in America would not happen in a Turkish neighborhood because the Turks would not let blacks take over their neighborhood. He flat out sid the Turks would kick the blacks’ butts!

You mean WHITER pastures don’t you? They’ve got so many more targets to rape, rob and murder living with White folks. And how on earth can they play the race card and possibly win the ghetto lottery living among their own!

I grew up in Macomb County, and within the last decade or so, the number of blacks living in that county have increased exponentially. The crime rate has increased as well, but newspapers tend not to point out the correlation.

I could not find it online, but the Macomb Daily—the newspaper for the county—published a front-page, above the centerfold article about the black population increasing. It was a few years ago, but the title was something to the effect of, “Blacks Flock in Droves from Detroit to Macomb County.”

It reminds me of Jean Raspail’s “The Camp of the Saints.” Most people see the problem, but they do not mentally register it as being a problem. Only time will tell if what happened to Europe in that book will happen to the U.S.

The liberals of Macomb County should be excited. I wonder if they will like diversity as much as they do now when their daughters are raped, their sons are beaten up, and their parents are robbed.

Probably the largest number of these are single black mothers, armed with section 8 vouchers, looking for a better life for their children.

Unfortunately for them, it is futile. Blacks cannot succeed in escaping from squalor, since they themselves are the root cause of the squalor. Their flight from squalor is as futile as a dog chasing it’s tail.

I feel so sorry for the 86000 whites still in Detroit. My guess is they are retired and watched everything destroyed around them and had nowhere to go. The rest of probably city officials in gated heavily policed communities.

Close. I did some research a while ago to look at the disparity between black and white high schoolers’ grades. The numbers are pretty stark.

Take an all white high school and start to bring in black students. As long as the black population is in single digits white students continue to post the same grades. When the black population hits 15% EVERYONE SUFFERS. Black as well as white grades head south.

When the blacks have squeezed al the juice out of the oranges they have to find whites who grow more oranges.
They understand that somebody has to work the grove but they can steal, beg,intimedate and demand their fair share from whites but, instinctively know that when it is just blacks that well..there are no more oranges.

I was one of the ‘whites’ whose family fled the inner city of Detroit in the late 50s, then we fled the city itself for a north-western suburb, which to this day has still remained 97% + white, and as a consequence, clean, friendly and with a very low crime rate. But in that time, property taxes have sky-rocketed and properties still sell for much higher amounts even compared to other suburbs. But this cost is just that - a cost to live in a (relatively) segregated community.
When one examines these situations, the words of George Wallace ring loud and clear - “segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever”

It really is the most sensible approach to ‘race relations’.

Why do you think neighborhoods change from all white to all black?

Black people would rather live with white people than each other.

Ironic isn’t it? Black people blame white people for everything but they want to live with white people.

Then they are racists if we apply the definition as it is used against whites when they leave high density black areas for their own protection and comfort. Shame on them.

Yes, whenever one thinks of the problem, one thinks of who caused it, and what their punishment should be for this sedition.
