I suggest Mr. Munin take the lead in “derailing white privilege” by stepping down from his position as Assistant Dean of Students at DePaul University and allowing a minority to take his place.

Munin was born on the south side of Chicago and grew up in a middle-class neighborhood made up of Chicago police officers, firefighters and blue collar families. Although raised in one of the most diverse cities in the country his surroundings were largely segregated by race. He draws upon this experience of being raised in an area that still daily grapples with racism and discrimination.

So a white liberal, raised in a (presumably) all-white middle class suburb, is going to lecture other white liberals raised in a similiar fashion about “white privilege” - like a clean neighbourhood, not getting beaten up for being white, low crime etc?

He’d like to live on the South side but if he lived there there’d be the possibility he’d be injured or killed. The probability going up the longer he lived there. I would point out that this would be ‘because of the color of his skin’ but to do so would be racist and Nazi like. At least, for a white person. The real truth is indeed an offence. Mr Munin won’t be speaking it.

Racially aware white people should attend this meeting and point

wait a minute! The Chicago Tribune just recently said that Chicago is the most segregated city in the nation. This chicagoan is confused. Make up your mind we are either segrated or diverse. I can’t tell.

Surely this is an opportunity to speak at this gathering to debunk the subject as it is presented. In other words to state that white privilege finished decades ago but the Afro-Americans etc are proving as a group that they are unable to take advantage of te many affirmative action policies they were presented with, mentally and with the right work ethics so let us stop immediateely all the lies about any discrimination by whites. The so-called discrimination is the opinions by whites based on facts.

Has anyone ever noticed that literally ALL of these so-called liberal/progressives like Comrade Munin, have the same look, and exude the same weird feelings in normal well balanced people?
This commissar of “fairness,” is the typical product of a good university education in what today goes for the liberal arts. It is interesting that Munin says he grew up in an area segregated by race. He therefore is writing and talking from ignorance. He should talk to, say, Curtis Sliwa, founder of the Guardian Angels, if he’d like information on who most of the people are that have the “privilege” of getting mugged and by whom.

In any case isn’t Comrade Munin being redundant in his goal of examining how to “derail” as he says white privilege? Hasn’t that been going on for some forty years with— quotas, affirmative action, and “protected groups” as the main method of derailment of white privilege? Isn’t he a little late on the scene? I wonder what his Ph.D. thesis was on, since if it was on methods to derail white privilege, he should have it taken away, because you are supposed to contribute something new in the field to earn a Ph.D.

As a resident of Ocean county I am Outraged that my tax dollars are (in)directly being used to pay for this skunk. What kind of “bully” must reside on the library diversity committee to find this fool to preach to the white residents of this area? For goodness sakes a half black fella was just elected POTUS.

About a year or so ago I visited this main branch location and was visually bombarded by huge posters of mainly minorities promoting reading (I posted this at AMREN at the time). The posters don’t even closely match the racial makeup of the area. Also there is a thriving Spanish only section.

I wonder if Jared Taylor would ever get an invite to put on a similar presentation?

Tim Wise makes 4,000, plus expenses, for giving these idiotic speeches, then why not dip your toes into the “white privilege racket.

“Race Hustling”…everyone needs to know what this is. I’m going to be spending the next 4 years minimum, to putting this term and it’s definition all over the place. Our young people need to know what this is. Treason…the cowards method.

I went to Google and typed the following:

The internet is quickly turning into nothing more than a liberal run TV station. We need to do more. The above stats are unacceptable.

Actually, he is one of two assistant deans at DePaul University. The other asst. dean happens to be an African American female. Those of you suggesting that minorities are priveleged are delusional, uneducated on the subject and I imagine have very little exposure to different people and cultures.

I don’t know if Anonymous at 5:35 PM is going to check back here, but it has been often stated on this site that personal exposure to various non-Whites are the reason for our racial attitudes. The fact is, we ARE educated, by our own experiences. And once our eyes have been opened, we easily recognize the lies we once believed, the lies that still hold many naive Whites in check. No one will ever convince me that I, a former surveyor, did not pass the basic math part of a civil service test, as the city personnel office once told me. I will never, barring the onset of Altzheimer’s, believe that a non-White man with unintelligible English was the better candidate for another government job I applied for. I will never be persuaded that I have not witnessed unprovoked violence by Blacks against Whites, and never by Whites against Blacks. I have been to the sewer, and I have seen the light.

We have a black president. What will it take to shoot down the myth of white privilege? Genocide against whites?
