Stanford law Professor Tino Cuéllar was named this week to lead President-elect Barack Obama’s transition working group on immigration, putting him among the many scholars from the Bay Area who are helping shape the next administration.

Through a law school spokeswoman, Cuéllar declined to be interviewed, but lawyers and immigration experts across the country praised him Friday for his intellect and his grasp of both regulatory minutiae and the big picture of American immigration policy.
“He’s brilliant beyond his years,” said John Trasviña, president of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, who met Cuéllar when he was a law student at Yale and encouraged him to go to work in Washington.
At 36, Cuéllar already has an impressive resume. Raised on the U.S.-Mexico border in Calexico (Imperial County), he earned his bachelor’s degree at Harvard University before going to Yale Law School and finishing up with a doctorate in political science from Stanford, where he’s now a full professor specializing in administrative law.
Along the way, he spent two years at the U.S. Treasury Department under President Bill Clinton, where he worked on fighting money-laundering operations.
Cuéllar has been described as a close adviser to Obama on immigration, and the American Bar Association recently suggested he could be on the short list to head the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agency.

Cuéllar will co-lead the immigration policy group with Georgetown University Law Center Dean T. Alexander Aleinikoff, who was second in command at the Immigration and Naturalization Service during the Clinton years.

Why not just outsource this entire Department to Mexico. It will save a lot of money and produce exactly the same results.

It was as if he’s the President already. I’ve never seen something like that from a President-elect a full two months before he takes office.
Think it’s bad now? Add 20 million newly amnestied illegals to the democrat voting rolls.
We’re done. Put a fork in the USA we grew up in….it’s not coming back.

In other news, president-elect Obama has announced that: a Mr. Fox will be placed in charge of the US Department of Hen Houses; The US Sheep and Lamb Protection Agency, will have a Ms. Wolf as its new head; the CIA will be co-chaired by Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale (of Bullwinkle fame;) and that the Department of Homeland Security shall have either Osama bin-Laden or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as its new secretary. It is believed that Mr. bin-Laden is the stronger contender of these latter two potential appointments, since President Ahmadinejad is currently running his own country and might have conflicting interests…

I hope Obama becomes known as being very lax on immigration control, which will make the Democrats a clear target on this issue by the GOP or anybody else who comes along to oppose them.

Let’s see now —- a kid from a border town gets sent to Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. And by 36 already has “an impressive resume”.

This isn’t the worst of what is happening right now or what is going to happen. We may as well prepare for the fact that we’re going to lose much more while this leftist black and his self-hating whites are in office than all the other years combined.
It’s only going to get uglier. But like many military battles, great losses oftentimes occur, but instead of continuing on with the same failed strategies until the war is lost, new ones have to be adopted, until the adjustments allow for gains again. But most important is the fact that many opportunities to gain more adherents will be presenting themselves, so we should concentrate on taking advantage of that to increase our strength.
Many want to try to gain ALL whites to our side, but I think that’s totally wrong. We should want absolutely nothing to do with the ones rabidly against us now, because they’re such weak-minded fops, if they join forces with us they’re more likely than not to fall for somebody else’s scheme, “wanting to do what is right.”
And keep in mind we are entering a period when this country is going to be the weakest it has ever been, and there are many indications we will implode at some point.
It has always been my intuition that this is the opportunity we’ve been waiting for that could well mean our independence again.
And I still firmly believe we have yet to see armed conflict develop on a very serious level between blacks and mestizos, which will be the beginning of the complete restructuring of the United States.

This is an obvious indication that this Hispanic will be drafting proposals that ultimately grant amnesty to the millions of illegals already here, and then they will open up the floodgates even further to millions more legal immigrants. Also look for some scheme to allow millions of Africans in. The one thing we know about non-whites, is that they look after their own racial interests first.
It will not matter whether we have border security or not with the ideas of this Mexican leftist. They will simply let anyone in legally. So there will only be a symbolic border remaining.

Just wonderful. Amnesty is going to happen under Obama (but it would’ve happened under McCain as well), especially since the Democrats control congress as well. And if (or when) amnesty comes, civil war II won’t be far behind as America balkanizes at an accellerated pace. I would guess the time span between amnesty and the outbreak of civil war to be 10 or 15 years at most. It could very well be fewer than 10. But whatever happens, things are going to get VERY bad for America in the coming years.

Well, why not? Mexico has been dictating our immigration policy for some time now. And, has there ever been a Mexican, no matter how long he/she has been here, that doesn’t put Mexico first? They proclaimed themselves Mexican, not Americans - shouldn’t that alone tell us something?
I would be shocked if a president Obama didn’t pass some form of Shamnasty. I think it will negatively affect blacks even more than whites, and blacks were Obama’s most ardent supporters. Wait until all their relatives come from Latin America, blacks will never find jobs as carpenters, maids, supermarket employees, restaurant or hotel workers again. I’ve already seen it happen in parts of the South.

Most have looked at me like I’m crazy. Some have opined that Obama will not “be that bad” and that a lot of his radical views were just part of his campaign to attract the left wing loons. They don’t understand that Obama’s campaign WAS the whole picture. He is a blank slate, we have nothing to compare him to. We cannot lie back and adopt a wait and see attitude. By then it will be too late. If it isn’t already.

The Russians are already predicting the breakup of the United States. And they may be right. I really wonder if that would necessarily be a bad thing. Condsidering the amount of debt the feds are accrueing for each and everyone of us to pay, that is the ones of us whom actually work for a living and don’t receieve welfare.

An amnesty will be the final death knell for this country. 20M granted amensty (at least,) followed by another 60M-80M from chain migration will overwhelm the system and provide the critical mass necessary to the libs for complete control. I suggest everybody get with the program and start supporting well-organized and effective anti-immigration organizations like NumbersUSA. The many forces of destruction aimed at white Americans have had to confront organizations like these and have had little success when it comes to the various forms of amnesty that are cooked up. This opposition includes a number of Democratic members of Congress, not just Republicans. So let Cuellar and whoever do what they want, they still have to face heavy opposition from the majority of Americans. But the strength of this opposition has to increase, especially (though it is not clear he will do so considering Neopolitano is Homeland Security) if Obama pushes for amnesty. Join up now and put up a fight. Don’t give in!

Don’t be too angry. We all contribute in whatever ways we can. Even if some of us can only pound on a keyboard and write letters to the editor or study the situation through research and reading, that is still more than 99% of the rest of the population are doing. I don’t think most whites care about this country. Take for example, Sen.Dick Durbin of Illinois, who supports illegal aliens. He won in a landslide victory. Thank you, samdstorm. That is what I have been arguing in at at least 75 percent of my posts. Most whites are so disconnected from their land, from the beauty of the United States, etc. that they just don’t get it. Once you lose it, it’s lost, for good. I have traveled to Europe, I’ve seen the magnificent Alps, that run through about a dozen European nations, but I can tell you, there is nothing in Europe or anywhere else in the world to compare with the beauty of The United States. I have traveled extensively in the U.S., my country, and it amazes me over and over, when I think of what we have here. I like what we have here, yet millions of Americans hardly care. When everything is lost to corruption and its consequences, where exactly are they all planning to go??
