Spanish Police Repel Migrants at Border Crossing

More news stories on Europe

Daniel Woolls, AP, November 10, 2008

Border guards repelled two waves totaling about 200 Africans in the fifth and largest such attempt to reach the Spanish city of Melilla from Morocco in less than a month, said Gregorio Escobar, the [Interior] ministry’s top representative in Melilla.

No migrant managed to cross into the Mediterranean city of some 70,000 people.

Moroccan authorities detained most of the 150 Africans who tried to rush a border crossing in a first attempt. Less than an hour later, a group of about 60 turned violent as they tried to force their way across and Spanish authorities used riot gear and tear gas to keep them out, Escobar said.

Two Spanish police were slightly injured and six other officers were treated after inhaling tear gas, he said.

Police have prevented migrants from crossing into Melilla on all the previous attempts over the past weeks except on one occasion when 37 migrants got through. They were later detained on Spanish soil.

Each time, migrants tried to get through a section of border fence damaged in torrential rains in late October. On Monday, however, they targeted a regular border crossing used daily by thousands of people.

The Spanish had ought to learn from their Moroccan counterparts and greet them with a hail of bullets. These are not “migrants,” they are invaders, plain and simple. Just as I have the right to use deadly force against someone who uses violence to enter my home, so do the Spanish have the right against those who would violently enter their territory. When asked, these Africans often say they would rather die than be sent back home in failure, so why not grant their wish?

This is not enough. All non Whites in Europe must be deported. Until that is done our struggle is not over. Until then we must not rest.

Fences ? Fences ? Now where did I hear that word before ? Oh yes, now I remember. We were supposed to build one somewhere to keep out illegal aliens ( with apologies to that whacke Arizona judge ). I wonder whatever happened to it ?

Not having been given geography in school, I had to launch the World Book Encyclopedia and look at the atlas to even understand what this article was talking about. I did not realize just how close Spain (and the rest of Europe) is to Africa—it indeed practically touches the tip of Morocco. And Europe itself is a tiny landmass compared to black Africa.

Blacks have an entire continent to themselves. Why must they insist on taking over the entire world?

When they stop using police tactics to try and stop them….and then start shooting them…you will know world war III has started…..the long bloody war by which europe and the US try to stop the hostile invasion from the third world.

We might not win that war.

This is a prime example of the need for selective breeding. Mindless breeding creates unnecessary burden upon others. It creates nothing but poverty and crime. The rest of mankind is held hostage to deal with the problems created by mindless breeding.

Its the CAMP OF THE SAINTS. But this time Europe (or at least Spain) is fighting back.

Tim - Look an etnographic map also. “Black Africa” start at South of Sahara. Thousands Km of Gibraltar. The Morocains of that area are called Riffis. Almost all that I met are white. After 1000 thousand years of Black Slavery they have less than 4% of black genes in them. Is less than the average Afrikaaans (South Africans Whites), and the same % that some groups of White Americans (in the South). Only after 300 years of contact with Blacks. How do will look Anglos in 1000 years?

Just how does this differ in any substantial way from an act of invasive aggression - the catalyst in innumerable wars in past history?

This page tells you what you need to know about Melilla. Until reading it, I wasn’t aware it was an autonomous city located on the African coast. Given that, and the fact Morocco claims it, one can see why the attempted invasion is centered there. No doubt the Moroccan government is aiding & abetting the invaders. Ad Dave said, the only way to deal with them is by deadly force.

Tim: Melilla and Ceuta are two Spanish cities that are actually loocated in Africa, on the coast, and surrounded by Morocco — much as Gibraltar, nearby, is British but on the Spanish peninsula. They are not in Spain. These enclaves are remnants of a past age, long gone, when Spain was a great power. Although they lie within Morocco, they are entirely Spanish and have been Spanish for centuries. They look exactly like any other Spanish city, not Moroccan.

As 6:23 said, the Moroccan population in the surrounding region is Caucasian (and whiter than elsewhere), not much different in appearance from the Spanish. This region was, until 1956, Spanish Morocco. Now, only the cities of Ceuta and Mellilla remain in Spanish hands.

HOWEVER, it must be understood that these would-be immigrants who are storming the fence are NOT Mocorrans! They are (black) Africans from south of the Sahara. The story did not make this clear. In the Spanish newspaper linked below, they are plainly referred to as “subsaharianos”, and it is stated that the Moroccan police are working with the Spanish authorities to try to restrain them.

This is the ultimate achievement of the EU. A law that allows anyone who sets foot on European soil granting the whole gamut of protection that European laws have devised for their own protection.

Funny, the immigrants don’t stop in Spain, nor France. No they continue up to Britain where they can get great deals on welfare.

Look at the fantastic deal this Nigerian mother of 5 got - a 5 bedroom house in London worth over $1,000,000. What a bunch of suckers you British are.

Blacks are fleeing themselves, and are desperately seeking societies not ruled by blacks.

As they succeed and procreate, they will, through numbers, inevitably reproduce the same barbaric environment they originally fled.

About the only satisfaction to be found in that is that most here will likely be dead by then.

………………
Yex, and that is exactly the point, which some here may not fully understand. These would-be “immigrants” are “setting foot on European soil”, which would then entitle them to demand automatic refugee status. Once they reach Mellilla (even though they’re in Africa), they are legally in “Europe”.

The cities of Ceuta and Melilla are NOT Moroccan cities that happen to be under Spanish rule. These enclaves are SPANISH cities that happen to be in Morocco. Since they are part of Spain (legally), but located on the North African coast (geographically), that makes them the only part of the European Union that is on African soil. Therefore, this is the only place where one can WALK across a border from Africa into Europe. That is why gate-crashers from around Africa come there. I don’t think the Moroccan authorities appreciate having them either.

Since Morocco would like to claim these two small enclaves, and since their maintenance must surely entail a lot of expense and trouble on Spain’s part, I wonder if it wouldn’t be best to give them up. They are relics from another age. They bring Spain no benefits. Are they really worth all the bother?
