Refugee Program Stayed After Feds Confirm Fraud

More news stories on Immigration Law Enforcement

Brian Mosely, Shelbyville (Tennessee) Times-Gazette, November 16, 2008

A fact sheet released this week from the U.S. State Department reported widespread fraud in the refugee program that has brought tens of thousands of people from Somalia and other African nations to the United States.

The reported fraud spurred the State Department to suspend a humanitarian program in August which was supposed to reunite African “anchor” refugees already in the states with their family members who are still overseas.

DNA testing conducted earlier this year by the government to verify blood ties between anchor refugees and their supposed family members revealed that fewer than 20 percent of those checked could confirm their biological relationships, the fact sheet stated.

The suspension impacts the Priority Three (P-3) Program of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program, which grants access to those claiming to be “a parent, spouse, or minor child by certain legal residents in the United States.”

Priority One (P-1) and Priority Two (P-2) refugees are admitted into the program based upon their vulnerability in their native country, through a referral from the United Nations. The P-1 and P-2 statuses of the program have not been suspended.

An applicant for refugee status must establish that he or she has suffered persecution or has a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, creed or origin.

“In recent years, applications to the P-3 program have been overwhelmingly African—primarily Somalis, Ethiopians and Liberians—accounting for some 95 percent of the P-3 applications,” the fact sheet from the U.S. Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration stated.

When asked about the fraud described, Catalina Nieto, director of advocacy and educational programs for the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition, said that the State Department fact sheet is “a very general report and it is referring to all refugees, not particular to Shelbyville.”

Impact on refugees

Holly Johnson, State Refugee Coordinator for the Tennessee Office for Refugees said Friday that to her knowledge, the suspension “has not had a significant impact on the local program.”

“I take it very seriously,” Johnson told the Times-Gazette. “Of the hundreds of resettlement cases that I have handled in the ten years that I have worked in the local resettlement program, there were only two cases (in the state) where I suspected the possibility of fraud.”

Those cases were reported immediately to their national organization, Catholic Charities, Johnson said, and then were passed on to the State Department and/or the Department of Homeland Security. She added they were not notified of the outcome of these reports because of confidentiality guidelines.

Johnson said that Catholic Charities’ focus “is on resettling refugees that the U.S. State Department selects and sends to Middle Tennessee.”

The State Department is referring to the ones already here as “anchor refugees” who must be reunited with their families still overseas. It is intended to be a neverending chain, and it is. If the State Department (and the Tennessee Office for Refugees(!)) are so worried about these people, find a willing taker on the African continent, where they can live out their days free from the hatred of White people, which the ‘fugees will almost assuredly experience in the United States, thus requiring more and larger social programs to combat.

And note how the ‘fugees are always deposited in solidly White areas - Tennessee, Vermont, Wisconsin, etc. Better to spread the benefits around, right? Can’t let Detroit, WashDC, Oakland, and Atlanta hog all the benefits of diversity, right?

And always - ALWAYS - Catholic Charities has its filthy, alter-boy fondling hands in the cookie jar. I was raised Catholic but I would like nothing more than to see that degenerate organization destroyed. The papists are working non-stop and hand-in-glove with overtly political actors to transform this continent into something like their beloved Central America, and yet they retain tax-exempt status.

Please, the whole “asylum” thing is a fraud. You don’t need DNA testing to figure that out.

Oh, but look at what wonderful contributions to our society these black Africans “refugees” our government is flooding us with at our expense are making:

Get ready for the flood gates to open even more in the coming years. (More Democrat voters, you see!)

Because we just don’t have enough home-grown as it is:

(This is what a white life is worth in today’s America. Compare with National hysteria and quick death penalty meted out to the Jasper TX white perps.)

“Catholic Charities” would better be called “Protestant/Jewish/ Catholic/Muslim/Buddhist/Atheist/Deist Charities.” If that’s too long maybe it could just be called “Taxpayer Charities.” According o the article in the link, Catholic “Charities” is a $2.3 billion behemoth with 46,000 employees that gets 65% of its funding from you, the dear taxpayer.

And what does it do with much of that taxpayer funding? Rather than real charity work, it turns around and lobbies the government for more spending on social programs (education, health care, illegal immigrants, etc.)

I was born, baptized, and raised as a catholic as well. I would sooner see the church cease to exist than watch it do the work of the Devil. The church, after the Vatican re-organized in the 60’s has never been the same.

I live in the south and often ride my motorcycle in Tennessee on their beautiful mountain roads. I think I may go and see one of the beautifully diverse areas where these Somalis have been forced on the good people of Tennessee, and they are good people.

I am often bewildered at the extreme lengths our “political leaders” will go, in order to destroy our country. We have become the human dumping ground for the entire world.
Will it ever end?

Africans coming here fraudulently? No problemo! Let the American taxpayers support them for the rest of their lives. Including their dozen children, per couple, nor forgetting multiple wives, where applicable.

Hate to say it, but what America NEEDS is a modern-day re-enactment of 1776. With Americans declaring their independence… NOT from Great Britain’s evil king. But from our own far more evil government.

It’s impossible to despise Catholic Charities enough. Still, the ‘fugees do help to ratchet up the sense of dispossession among whites, which will be essential in finally getting them fed up enough to demand change — real, racial change — and not rest until they get it. So, sure, bring the ‘fugees on. More ‘fugees will hopefully also encourage more and more white Catholics to ditch the corrupt church that so fatally compromises their racial interests.

Why do these people want to come to this evil, racist, white-privilege, white-supremists nation in the first place?

The people who run these programs should be in jail for the racial hatred they’re forcing these people to suffer. It amounts to a hate crime.

All you Catholic amreners. This is the Christmas fundraising season. Please remember who is bringing these fanatic muslim africans to this country. Please remember that once they arrive these muslim africans, because they are africans are eligible for affirmative action jobs and college placements forbidden to native whites by federal and state law.

So, not one thin dime to the Catholic church ever again. J

oin your parish’s clubs and committees. Socialize with other Catholics. Encourage everyone to stop giving money to the church that seeks to displace white Catholics with affirmative action muslim africans.

The Lutherans are just as culpable in bringing muslim africans to America. All amren Lutherans should also withhold money.

Fraud is the word for it. I can’t think of a single foreign student who has overstayed his or her Visa that has been deported—not one! Some have been here for twenty years or more!

Alan you really make an excellent point when you say the title Catholic Charities should be expanded to include the other religions you listed. The truth is these other religions are using Catholic Charities and even cooperate with them ON IMMIGRATION ISSUES, IF NOTHING ELSE. All of these religions should have their tax exemption withdrawn since they are blatantly interfering in politics in such a way as to make huge profits from their political activities, as you point out.

I will add my comments to the previous ones. This country’s future depends on the quality of human beings allowed to come in. The more intelligent and concerned citizens need to take more concrete action than just letting the present officials decide. Unfortunately, the brain washing of the masses in this country is too great as shown by the election of Guru Obama - blind hope. This country will sink into nothingness just like past higher civilizations at the present rate of demographic changes. Presently, this country is like a huge ship without a captain(s), floating along until it finally sinks.

What is the sense of letting in more black genes other than the deterioration of this country?

Wasn’t there a feature story in the Seattle paper that examined this? Examined thru the eyes of a local immigrant. While discussing the DNA test, not once did it bring up the prevalence of fraud cases, let alone the idea that any of them could potentially be frauds.

CATHOLIC MEDIA COALITION ^ | October 2008 | by Mary Ann Kreitzer

On November 23rd in Catholic churches around the country ushers will pass collection baskets for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). Millions of trusting Catholics will contribute “to help the poor.”

What many don’t know is that their hard-earned dollars will pour into the coffers of liberal organizations promoting causes they oppose and which often hurt the poor. In 1969, the U.S. bishops established CCHD “to fund low-income controlled empowerment projects and to educate Catholics about the root causes of poverty.
