Mexican emigration has dropped 42 percent over the last two years, a government study released Thursday showed, confirming that America has become less appealing amid an economic downturn and stepped up raids against illegal migrants.
About eight of every 1,000 Mexicans emigrated between February and May of this year, according to the survey conducted by the National Statistics and Geography Institute. That’s a 42 percent drop from the same period in 2006.
In all of 2007, an estimated 814,000 Mexicans emigrated, compared to 1.2 million in 2006. The figure—which was reached through household surveys—includes all Mexicans who left the country, and did not break down legal and illegal migration.

There have long been indications that Mexican emigration has been falling dramatically. The U.S. Border Patrol has reported a 39 percent drop since 2005 in the capture of migrants trying to cross the frontier illegally.
And Mexicans are sending less money home, hurting Mexico’s second-largest source of foreign income behind oil exports. Remittances fell 12 percent to $1.9 billion in August, the biggest drop since record-keeping began 12 years ago, according to Mexico’s central bank.

The study found no significant change in the number of Mexicans coming home. But the drop in emigration was so large that by the end of 2007, more Mexicans were returning home than leaving the country, the study said.

Why any of them would want to come here is beyond me. This economy is is going to only get worse and stay that way for a long time.
Anybody who has been to some of the more select areas of Mexico can well understand that if whites were the dominant race down there, the country would be the wealthiest in the Western Hemisphere.
It’s oil reserves are huge, its mineral and ore deposits are large as well, and they have two coastlines that, if developed properly, would bring in untold wealth to the country.
ICE can really turn this thing around if they act NOW.
The fact these Mexicans make so many unprovoked attacks on border agents reveals their criminal mindset probably more than sneaking around and stealing across the border.
They have a huge number of videos, showing such bad behavior by these crooks, if theyt were ever shown often on television there would be very little sympathy for aliens in this country.
Of course, that’s the reason they’re never shown and barely mentioned at all.
What this article does not seem to stipulate is how many of these “migrants” are illegally “migrating.”

This is great news for now. The problem is, when the economy picks up, they’ll be right back. They only come to the USA for economic reasons, not because the want to be “American” or assimilate. It’s high time Mexicans stayed in their own country. If they want a better life, they need to fix their own country. It’s also high time greedy white American employers hired their own.
This is a start. Where I live, there are still too many of them. They have to go….but, nooo. Our mayor wants a santuary city. he doesn’t care how many americans die.
I always though that the standard rationale for mass migration was that the sheer physical presence of the immigrants somehow ‘benefitted’ the economy.
Immigrants are cheap labor. Import them, and products cost less. The consequence is socialized costs, which are that others lower quality to match the new low prices, and then it’s a race to the bottom (no pun intended).
For example, in Houston, TX we have massively cheap construction done by Mexican day-laborers hired by single white guys with pickup trucks. The result is that the accumulation of knowledge by craftsmen is gone, and instead we have a sort of ad hoc method applied in which most things are done 80% well 80% of the time — so they’re cheaper, but in the long term?
It’s hard to say, but it doesn’t look likely to me. I’d prefer at least to have more solid, expert construction. It’s almost like when the construction got cheaper the time before having to re-do it went from 20 years to 7.
If a slow economy can have such an impact all by itself, imagine what would happen if we enforced our immigration laws, cut off social services for illegals, stopped educating their children, and otherwise made life unpleasant here!
They would quietly self-deport by the millions, without the need for the, “jack-booted thugs, going door-to-door, tearing apart families” that liberals love to wring their hands about.

They come here for the generous welfare benefits we provide—including free education for their children. They know they have race-based and immigrant(including illegal)-rights organizations that will willingly back them up against evil Whites.
According to the MSM, there are a lot of deportations and workplace raids going on lately but that is a minuscule amount of illegals only—I suspect once obama become president and Napolitano is installed, these raids and deportations will stop.
I work in the schools and we are forbidden by law to inquire as to the immigration status of ANYONE (at the risk of losing one’s job and being called a racist or Nazi).
Meanwhile, the average price of educating each student here in California is approximately $9,000 (I’ve seen figures over $10,000). If the student needs special-Ed services (and many low IQd students from the Third World certainly do) the cost about doubles. These students, under Federal Mandate to receive these services are bankrupting the school districts in California. To pay for these government-mandated services, the class size of ‘regular’ classes is raised, honors and AP classes are eliminated, music, art, field trips and other ‘frivolous’ programs are cut.
One of my colleagues works with physically handicapped students, many of whom, he tells me, were brought here from mexico or central america specifically for medical treatment and other services that are not available ‘back home.’ The cost of the special schools they attend, the special services they receive, smaller classes, aides, special handicapped buses, is astronomical.
Remember: No one is allowed to ask if they are in the country illegally. YOU, as a taxpayer, are expected to pay and pay and pay and shut up about it, otherwise you are a Nazi.

Well, yeah, that leaves about 15-20 million to go who haven’t the slightest right to be here, but are because we have so many traitors in this nation.
America is truly at the 11th hour… If we don’t stand up and force our so-called political “representatives” to stop this massive foreign invasion, America as we know it will be history.
Illegal alien support groups are growing and forming nationwide coalitions. One such coalition (can’t remember the name) representing 135 illegal alien support groups was in Washington just the other day demanding more Hispanic representatives in the White House.
These foreigners have infiltrated America right up to the White House and are trying to gain control of our political future with the “power” of their votes. However, in spite of all of this power, I had to laugh when I heard Janet La Raza recently “threatening” the Democrats to come through with their promise of amnesty or else “they’d go elsewhere”… Ha! Having failed with the Republicans and hopefully failing with the Democrats (at least in the immediate future), where else is left for them to go?
The answer is simple… GO HOME!
Another concocted statistical report. Who is taking head count on all these people. They can’t possibly know if most of this is true. However take away all their freebies and you would be able to notice a significant reduction in their numbers. Although once the black Robin Hood takes command and robs from the producers and gives to the deadbeats, it will become much more attractive to all breeds of parasites, assuming they are willing to live in a communist police state.
Yet another article that would continue to confuse the distinctin between “immigrants” and “illegal aliens”. An immigrant has a green card, visa, or other legal status with the Federal Government. This particular article is about “illegal aliens” who gate-crash the broder or overstay their tourist visa or re-enter the USA after being deported or refuse an order to leave the country. These are NOT IMMIGRANTS!
Mixing with legal immigrants or blending with Hispanic Americans may make it easier to avoid deportation, but we need to be as vigilant as the bald eagle to these invaders.

Illegal immigration is dropping? Sorry, i find that more than a little hard to believe. You couldn’t toss a pebble in our Houston, TX area… without hitting an illegal or their “anchor babies.” The freebies are just too appealing to the trash population in old Mehico.
Heard from a good friend in Phoenix a day or two ago. The CRIME by illegals fresh from over the border is out-of-sight. With the damned illegals trying to steal everything but the paint off the walls. You leave anything like tools when working on your car outside even a minute… some thieving Mexican will grab them and do a fast fade. Three or four will pack an old rolling wreck, then cruise around, LOOKING for anything of value to steal. To finance the next stage of their trip to richer pickings.

This is more propaganda. ANYONE at the border will tell you the flow has increased. Here in L.A. there are more and more illegals. Not less. It’s a tremendous joke among the elites about how idiotic whites are when it comes to believing what’s presented in the news, despite claims to the contrary.
I would like to point out that what this article says is that the illegal riffraff are continuing to invade our sovereign (sic) nation, just at a 50% reduced rate. That’s like saying your cancer is 50% better. Big deal.
Here in Central California, there seem to be just as many illegals and their nightmare-children (anchor babies) as ever. However, a lot of the homes that the illegals outrageously purchased are now in foreclosure. They will probably just be bought by other illegals. However, in the Sierra foothills, the word is that the illegals are leaving the area due to reduced employment. I have noticed that more of the illegals’ cars seem to be having serious problems (driving rattletraps). One of the utterly infuriating things about these illegals here is how many of these riffraff are driving brand new cars and living in new homes while my White friends are on food stamps and struggling to pay gas.
On the down side, most Whites around these parts seem to have drunk the Koolaid. If you mention something about illegals, you immediately get a “shut down this conversation” attitude or else they launch into a spirited defense of the illegals.
The illegals and mass immigration in general are destroying California. What happens to California will soon happen to America. Given the apathy of most Whites, I guess we deserve to have our country destroyed.

When I read an article like this I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. On eastern Long Island every day there seems to be more and more illegals. Our local politicians and police chiefs are too lazy and too cowardly to deal with the problem only offering labor halls thereby ignoring the fact that they are here illegally to begin with. It truly looks like a third world mess in many areas, but I believe this is what the wealthy of the Hampton’s wants. The elimination of the middle class in their midst and cheap labor.
