Player Banned for Racial Slur

Exactly what was the slur? Apparently, the slur was so bad that no one can dare use it. Would it have been considered a “slur” if the German player was “ahem” psssssssst “b-l-a-c-k? What if the Nigerian was “w-h-i-t-e”?

Hypothetically, suppose the facts were reversed and it was the individual with Sub Saharan African Ancestry who said (about his white German competitor): “You G.D., red neck, A.I.D.S. infected cracker queer — you bas**rd brat of a f***ing Nazi whore etc. etc. etc. ……..”

Let me see here:

(1) Would this comment be printed? So if not, is the press even free here, in this site?

(2) How many people here think that the Nigerian would have had the authorities open a criminal investigation for [a] suspected “insult with xenophobic motives” against him?

(3) How many people here think that the authorities would have done nothing?

(4) How many people here think that the authorities would have found the white person guilty of inciting a racial slur by the Nigerian?

The only thing that I can figure happened was the player dropped the most dreaded and feared word of all time. Yes, kiddos, kiddies, and kiddiets I’m talking about none other than the nuclear doomsday word bomb itself” the “N-word”!

Isn’t it strange that every race has slurs against it but only some are considered serious?
