One in every 10 American girls is a girl scout , about 2.6 million girls. The number has remained pretty steady for decades, but in the last few years it has been Hispanic, Asian and “immigrant” girls who have accounted for the organization growth.

This is Girl Scout troop 12119 in Minneapolis. Recently, the Girl Scout council here looked at dwindling numbers and reached out to minorities for new members. Now almost 300 Muslim girls are in 10 mostly Muslim troops in the city.

Historian Susan Miller says scouting has always been a way for immigrants in America to assimilate. Miller says, “We think about the Girl Scouts sometimes as a traditional organization, as very much a part of the American culture, and they were, and they were a part of that culture because they did from the beginning include just about everyone.”
Sometimes that means tweaking old traditions, in Minneapolis, the s’mores are the genuine article, but the hot dogs are made according to Islamic dietary law.
Susan Miller says, ” These girls can wear the Girl Scout sash and they can wear the hijab at the same time. This is not a contradiction.”

Being the person I am, I could never be rude and/or nasty to a child. However, when the multiethnic girl scout shows up at your door trying to sell whatever they are selling, just say no politely and close the door. Do not support these multiethnic troops of girl scouts. The only reason they are in the scouts in the first place, is to destroy it from within. The kids may not know it, but the leaders do. Assimilate? Muslims don’t assimilate, period. What a joke!

I’m glad these girls are learning how to sew and cook….they’re gonna need it in a year or two when their fathers marry them off to 40-year-old men back in home country.

I own a pot bellied pig that follows me everywhere so it would be amusing to open the door and allow one of these odd looking girls to solicit their cookies.

Sorry, if you aren’t going to wear the whole uniform then you are not allowed in Girl Scouts. At least that was how it was when I was in it.
I remember when I was a Girl Scout we used to earn sewing badges and selling cookies badges. And then the feminists got a hold of the organization and things changed. Girl Scouts were suddenly taught that they should be doing “whatever the boys are doing”. That was when my mom yanked me out. And it was also around that time they started promoting diversity.
Hmmmm. I wonder what badge those lovely young ladies in the photo there will be earning. Will it be the “how to cry softly when your husband beats you badge”, or the “how to hide a bomb on an airplane badge”?

I was a Girl Scout for many years, as well as a Brownie, and I, too, am ill when looking at the photo. I sure hope no Girl Scout in a hijab tries to sell cookies to our family!

These girls are Somalis and North Africans. Best estimate is that four of the five in the Minneapolis area have had their privates chopped by their mamas, aunts, and female cousins.
The (white) Girl Scouts play like they don’t know. The police act dumb. The doctors are in a big conspiracy not to see it. They all refuse to report it to the authorities.
These Muslim people have transplanted some of the most savage and barbarian features of their culture to America, and we pretend like they are regular everyday “Girl Scouts”. They aren’t. Time to go home to Somali and Darfur and the Sudan.

In the “March through the Institutions”, the Girl Scouts were taken over long ago and made into a pliable instrument of the Left. It has been run by extreme Lefties for a long time now.
This summer I stayed for a couple of days at the YWCA in Boston. Strange thing, I didn’t see any Klansmen marching in the streets of Boston, nor anyone threatening or abusing blacks, nor any signs of that horrible thing known as “racism” which is always lurking around the next corner, unseen but there.
Nonetheless, listed as the Y’s number one priority: “Fighting Racism!”

I can’t see from this picture how that is occurring. This picture begs the question, “Who is assimilating who?” It looks like immigrants are assimilating the GYA not the other way around.

Is there no traditional American institution these rabid Muslims won’t defile by their presence? The only positive in this inexplicable influx of Muslims into our country is the fact that they can easily be identified when the time comes to give them the martyrdom they so desperately seek. Washington has allowed more Muslims into our country since 9/11 than in all the years preceding 9/11 combined and this is sufficient cause for us to send them all to Allah…

After reading this article, I will never buy another box of Girl Scout Cookies! I was a scout until 7th grade, and went to Girl Scout camp every summer for 5 years - this is not the All-American tradition I remember. If the good Lord blesses me with daughters, I will never let them join this diversity-worshiping mess.

Muslim girls in the scouts? I find this just funny more than anything else. Maybe we’ll soon see muslim girls as high school cheer leaders dressed in burkas. Instead of dance routines they’ll try to keep the crowd quiet and dignified, unless of course the school is playing the local Jewish team, in which case suicide bombs are allowed.
On a more positive note, we really shouldn’t complain too much when a immigrant group here legally makes some honest attempts to assimilate. But we should still point out to those too incredibly daft to realize, that we are a White, English speaking, Christian, capitalist country, and would like to remain that way.

Good Lord. I was a Brownie and a Girl Scout — they look ridiculous. I would not allow my child to be in a troop with someone pledging to Allah instead of God.

There is never any reason to be cruel to a child. However if I see Girl scouts wearing hijab I will politely walk past the cookie stand. GSA has been taken over by the feminists so I will not be sending my daughter there.

In a nutshell, as I understand it: hard-core feminists are mostly Marxists and their ideology is driven by Marxist thinking. Marxists believe that the root cause of all the world’s ills is the evil patriarchal white male, and the white race. As a major feminist and Marxist ideologist famously put it, “The white race is the cancer of human history”. [Susan Sontag] They realize that there are other ills, but those have to be taken in order of priority, one at a time, so “fighting racism” is their number one concern, and everything else is somewhere down the list. The other concerns will have to wait their turn until the main enemy — the white race (especially the white male) — is vanquished.

Because race trumps gender and everyone is hysterical about racism today. It is far worse to be racist then to be sexist. As a matter of fact, being accused of racism today is akin to having been called a praciticer of witchcraft back in the 1600’s or a commie in the 50’s. Since criticizing non-whites(most muslims are non-white) is a huge no-no and considered racist, then feminists say nothing when they should be raising hell about this.

Well put! My daughter is in GSA but it is a church troop here in the South. We have God in our pledge. We do not use the national GSA materials that promote homosexuality. As parents we pay very close attention to what is done by GSA leaders. Still I am dismayed and disheartened by where this country is headed. It is an illness to intentionally do yourself harm.
