How Many Illegal Aliens Live In L.A.?

Walter Moore, American Patrol, August 26, 2008
According to figures released by the U.S. Census Bureau today, of the 3.8 million people who live in the City of Los Angeles, at least 928,416 are “Foreign born; Not a Citizen.” That’s over 24% of the city’s entire population.
To put that into perspective, the California Secretary of State says there are 834,406 voters registered as Democrats in the City of Los Angeles, 300,129 as “Decline to State,” and 278,645 as Republicans.
Are you wrapping your gray matter around that one? There are more foreign-born non-citzens in our city than there are registered Democrats. And there are more than three foreign-born non-citizens for each independent, or each Republican.
Furthermore, 225,994 of L.A.’s foreign-born non-citizens live below the so-called “poverty level.” So we’ve got over a quarter of a million foreigners living in our city below the poverty level. We are importing poverty, big-time.
{snip}
The Census did not report on how many of L.A.’s foreign-born non-citizens are here illegally. Nor, of course, did the Census report on how many vote illegally.

We could have immigrated smart upwardly mobile immigrants from Europe instead of 60 million of Mexico’s poorest. Instead of a bright innovative prosperous future, we are lumbering into some very difficult times ahead. You reap what you sow.
How much of Los Angele’s economy is underground? A lot of it.

The more important question is how many people there speak English. I would venture a guess that the number is not too high. That is the real problem not the illegal/legal distinction.

The whole state of California is drowning in debt and most dims, who strongly favor illegal aliens, are pushing for higher and higher taxes as a solution. California has nearly 3 million illegal immigrants that cost the taxpayers nearly $9 billion each year according to a new report released last week by the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
Educating children of illegals is the largest cost estimated at $7.7 billon each year . Medical care for illegals and incarceration of those who commit crimes are the next two largest expenses. Despite a major budget shortfall, many Latino legislators push for more and more benefits for the illegals while arguing against enforcement of the immigration laws.

Los Angeles? How many in California!
“Are you wrapping your gray matter around that one?”
I am wrapping my gray matter around building that wall around the entirety of California.

Good point. Instead we import from India and Pakistan, while turning a blind eye to tens of millions of illiterates entering with no permission whatsoever. Although in my opinion, if all illegal aliens were removed, its a good bet that we wouldn’t need the Europeans or the Indians, or anyone at all besides homegrown Americans.
Wrapping my gray matter around our homes and our economy with ZERO immigration. ZERO illegal aliens. Hmmm, happy place.

Unemployed WASP is right. If we needed more labor we could have went to Europe to get more people. They have more in common with us(race) than mestizos. Why would you want all these people who are an alien race. They’re not white or black. They don’t fit in.

Okay, they aren’t in the shadows any more. We know where they are. Why isn’t ICE out there rounding them up and putting them on busses?

Thank the “Very Rich” for destroying this country. One example is the “Slum Rentals” in L.A., filthy roach infested apartments that the owners (Famous people hiding behind corporate names)are getting exorbiant rents from the illegals.
While the average citizen is paying the taxes too support the illegals thru social welfare programs that are now bankrupt.
The rich could care less, they have the financial ability to leave this country.

America’s immigration laws have gotta be the world’s most stupid, written by someone from a bizarro upside down world, and his name is Ted Kennedy, democrat.

Some posters here talk of the desirabilty of increasing European immigration.
The fact is that when the Europeans wanted to come, the USA firmly slammed the door shut in their face - whilst welcoming the third world with open arms.
Now the tables have turned. There are, in fact, very few Europeans who actually grow up to reach maturity and the immigrating age.Furthermore, most west Europeans live in countries with high standards of living and public welfare and will not emigrate.Secondly, each passing year sees fewer and fewer Europeans actually born - this trend is most pronounced in the east , where most potentia immigrants would come from.
So, America, you’ve reaped what you’ve sown.
You preferred third-worlders over White Europeans - and now you’ve got them.

The current “invasion” started with the passage of an immigration bill in 1965 that did away with the quota system that affected several countries. The Senate floor manager for this bill was Sen. Edward Kennedy. The bill liberalized the former law by removing quotas from second and third world nations..The bill was mainly seen as an extension of the civil rights movement. The country no longer picks the best and the brightest but almost gives a “Constitutional right” to anyone who wants to come. The less than unexpected result has been one of the greatest waves of immigration in the nation’s history consisting of legal and illegal immigrations.

Ken, it wasn’t the American people that preferred these Third Worlders; it was our privileged elite. Both Obama and McCain are members of these elites. They have a mad idea to build a “universal” society based on greed and the subtle exploitation of “persons of color.” It is a trickledown theory where the minorities will get rich from the leavings of the exploiters. In reality, it is turning our country into another Brazil with huge disparities of rich and poor, overcrowding, environmental degradation, and crime and general mayhem.

For every “non-citizen” the census takers actually counted in L.A., you can bet there are three more uncounted out there.
L.A. and the rest of California have left their doors and windows open for so long, the state has renamed itself “Mexifornia.”

Labor shortages should never be used as an excuse to increase LEGAL and/or illegal immigration. Labor shorttages are a blesssing, a gift to Native Born White American workers. Labor shortages are an oportunity for American to shed low paying, meaningless and dangerous jobs. The more severe thelabor shortage the better, it would force this nation to better utilize the resources-people resources-of this nation.
However on an even more fundamental level, using LEGAL and/or illegal immigration when there is a severe labor shortage will cause massive tranformation of America. This is the single most important reason why Native Born White Amerians should live with a labor shortage. If you think about the economic case for high levels of LEGAL and illegal immigration comes down to is this:the economic health of the nation requires reducing Native Born White Americans to a very small and dwindling minority. This is obviously complete nonesense like all of mainstream neoliberal economic theorizing.

Amazing when you think about it… how the government and liberal elitists never care to link CRIME with unchecked immigration. Or maybe they’re just afraid of reality raising its ugly head. Forcing them to ADMIT immigration by third-worlders has done infinitely more harm than good to Americans.

The propensity of Mexicans to overpopulate themselves into poverty and chaos will always exceed California’s ability to effectively absorb them. Let California collapse and die from subsidizing the endless stream of Mexican illegals and hope the other states learn from California’s example…

Question is how many illegal immigrants are in the U.S.. I am sure it is much more than the 12-16 million that the media hardly ever mentions. If these mutts wore uniforms I think people would finally wake up and see that this is an invasion by the third world nations to the south. In my town as well as the surrounding towns the men walk around as if they “own the place”and the women have the same attitude while pushing a baby carriage while having three or four in tow. I find it disgusting the way these people come here (illegally)take advantage of all our social and medical institutions, continue to break our laws with false I. D.s and an underground economy, driving without a license, DUIs , hit and runs , etc.. All the while acting like -you cannot do a thing about me.I am sick of seeing everything, (including voter registration cards and polling places)having everything written in Spanish as well as English. It is as if the politicians have already decided on open borders and to hell with the common working man. All these people are opportunists, criminals and traitors to their own countries. The only solution is to send them back to where they came from. No amnesty because that would be dramatically changing the country for ever. Most of our politicians don’t have the guts to do any thing about it. It is time to throw them out or take matters into our own hands.

If one places any store in history this issue will eventually be settled by brave men and women with arms who are willing to risk their lives to destroy the colonizing alien invaders who are overrunning this nation, as well as the domestic government and corporate traitors who provide “aid and comfort” to our enemies…

You have to also consider that our codependence not only hurts the USA but prevents any real reform from happening in Mexico and other Latin American countries. The abusive macho alcoholic spouse to the south will never change until the codependent wife breaks free of her codependence. Yes we are playing the abused spouse in this scenario unfortunately. Both actually suffer as a result.

LA has a real problem during the elections. There are actually so few American citizens around that the city and county have great difficulty finding people to man the polling places and do other chores during elections.
Good news is that the fees paid to the temporary election people are more than $100.00 for just one day’s work.
But it is a sad commentary on how bad the ethnic cleansing of Americans from Los Angeles is.
