CDC Underestimated New HIV Cases by 40 Percent

The number of Americans infected by the AIDS virus each year is much higher than the government has been estimating, U.S. health officials reported, acknowledging that their numbers have understated the level of the epidemic.
The country had roughly 56,300 new HIV infections in 2006—about a 40 percent increase from the 40,000 annual estimate used for the past dozen years. The new figure is due to a better blood test and new statistical methods, and not a worsening of the epidemic, officials said.

Some said more attention needs to focus on prevention among blacks, who account for nearly half of annual HIV infections, according to the new CDC report.
A recent report by the Black AIDS Institute concluded that if black Americans were their own nation, they would rank 16th in the world in the number of people living with HIV.
“We have been inadequately funding this epidemic all along. We need to step it up,” said former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. David Satcher, who is now an administrator at Atlanta’s Morehouse School of Medicine.
The new estimate has been anticipated for a long time. The CDC began working on the new methods nearly seven years ago.
Late last year, advocates said they had heard the figure was about 55,000 and pressed the CDC to release it. Agency officials declined, saying they were submitting their research for medical journal review.
“These are extremely complicated statistical methods,” and CDC officials wanted the work to be thoroughly reviewed by outside experts, Gerberding said. The CDC’s findings are being published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
Until 1992, the number of diagnosed AIDS cases was used to predict how many people were newly infected each year. That method produced an estimate of 40,000 to 80,000. More recently, the CDC focused on infections among men who have sex with men, who account for about half of new HIV diagnoses.

The suggestion was initially suggested that such cases be quarantined, twenty years ago. Add to that suggestion the greater nature of infection from Blacks,(see above) one must also note that they are a far more crime-ridden, present-oriented culture, who clearly are ‘on the make’ for White Women, thus a threat to society on multiple levels.
One can almost make the honest suggestion that Blacks are waging a war against White America, with the hispanics in collusion, in an attempt at genocide.
Crimes against humanity, anyone?

I’ve tried to argue against it, saying that AIDS is just another disease. But apparently it’s different. Around 600,000 Americans have actually died of AIDS. Why do we never, ever, learn the race of those who’ve died?
Those darn televangelists… They’re right again. AIDS must be different from every other disease.

Why do blacks have such high rates of HIV? Could it have anything to do with their life styles, the fact that most are not intelligent or self controlled enough to consider the risks involved in “having a good time”? And it is somehow the white majority’s duty to spend even more billions of dollars to treat them—-please!
The CDC has become just another political hack organization. If you doubt me, just look at any of their so called “reports” on gun crime, many of which are taken directly for the Brady bunch and other extremist anti-gun groups(Handgun control inc., etc). Thus, I would never expect anything that they publish to be objective.
AIDS has alway been the disease predominantly of homosexuals and IV drug users, two groups who have a great deal of undue influence with our politically correct masters. So just watch as the research dollars are diverted from things like cancer and heart disease research(which whites are likely to suffer from)to yet more money for AIDS research. Nothing surprises me anymore.

So 2% of black Americans have HIV, 1 out of 50…that’s not exactly an epidemic, sounds like a scam to get money out of white people for blacks who don’t have health insurance.

Yes, the blacks will still say “More Whites have HIV, AIDs than blacks here in the USA”..Same as they say “More Whites on welfare than blacks”, well no fooling, there are 8 times more Whites and aren’t mexicans counted as Whites on these stats?

With all these blacks having HIV/AIDS why on earth would any self-respecting white woman want to have sex with blacks? it makes no sense at all. It really bothers me why these white women feel the need to show compassion for these people by laying down in bed with them. It makes no sense!

I’m sure there a a few others floating around. But Arthur Ashe is about the only black person I can think of who was not responsible for his AIDS infection. This pretty much applies across the board to anyone (of any race) who engages in dangerous practices.

Ever make an active effort to date black women? Don’t!
I thought they’d be a largely untapped alternative to the half-psychotic man-hating spoiled brats that so many white women are. Thought wrong!
A truly amazing number told me very early in the proceedings that they were carrying herpes or HIV. Well, at least they TOLD me! But… herpes?! Had forgotten all about that one.
Tack on this matter of being disease carriers in proportions WAAAAY above that of other races to all the other negatives—family members in prison, pregnant teenage daughters, a universal inability to manage money—and it’s no wonder black women can’t find mates.
As for white women who insist on sleeping with black males… Well, I mentioned half-psychotic didn’t I?!

Cuba quarantines people with AIDS. (Oh, that’s not in the news? I wonder why). Do a Google search.
The problem is made worse by the new treatments which extend the lives of the patients, and by the fact that they don’t change their behavior and go on to infect countless other people.
Quarantining will never happen in the USA because AIDS is a privileged disease.

Of course, it has been well known for over a century that black American incidence of the ‘traditional’ STDs such as gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes etc is astronomical and atr least 10 times the equivalent per capita rate of White Americans - this is not controversial and is freely known to anyone who cares to digout the relevant data.
The question has always been, ‘Will the incidence of HIV in black America follow the same horrific trend-line’ - frighteningly the answer appears to be ‘yes’.

I wonder if this is true or if some advocacy group is tryiing to get more money out of the taxpayers for “consciousness raising.”
Years ago National Review published some startling statistics about the AIDS industry.
At the time, there were 11 AIDS workers for every person diagnosed with AIDS. But just one, only one of those workers was involved in either research or medical care for the AIDS patients.
The other 10 were running advocacy groups, support groups, talking about condoms and alternative ways to achieve sexual release, and raising consciousness.
It was a real boon doggle, lots of “social workers” but little done for the patients. National Review revealed what one poor guy in San FRancisco had to do to get his month’s free supply of adult diapers. 2 days, fulltime 8 hour days running around town on the bus to get those diapers.
He died 3 months later. He was in the late stages of AIDS, sick, so weak he could hardly walk and had to go through such an ordeal every month. Remember the last time you had a bad case of the flu? Think about running from agency to agency for 2 days on the bus to get some needed medication.

I hope this scares away more Whites from being intimate with Blacks. Considering the Black genotype, any White is insane for being attracted to them in the first place.

I don’t think this is scaring many white women away from blacks; they simply don’t think something like HIV can happen to them, in spite of the occasional stories we hear in the news about single black HIV carriers who deliberately infect literally dozens of women.
Additionally, it is hard to take CDC statements about HIV very seriously, given the way the disease has been turned into a political issue instead of a public health matter. They might be exaggerating the infection rate in order to obtain larger budgets, but they could easily be understimating it to advoid “stigmatizing” certain less responsible ethnic minority groups. Who knows?
