In September of 2000, the University of Wisconsin at Madison and the University of Idaho were both embarrassed when they were forced to admit that they had doctored promotional photographs to make their campuses look diverse. {snip}

A sociologist at Augsburg College, together with an undergraduate, recently studied the viewbooks of hundreds of four-year colleges and universities, selected at random. The research team counted the racially identifiable student photographs and also gathered data on the actual make-up of the student bodies.
The findings: Black students made up an average of 7.9 percent of students at the colleges studied, but 12.4 percent of those in viewbooks. Asian students are also more likely to be found in viewbooks than on campus, making up 3.3 percent of real students on average and 5.1 percent of portrayed students. The researchers acknowledge that appearance does not always tell the story of race and ethnicity, and say that they only counted clearly identifiable photos, and feel less confident about figures for Latino students. But they report relatively few students whose appearance suggested that they might be Latino, which is striking given the growth in the Latino student body. (A total of 371 colleges were studied, and historically black colleges were excluded; the findings were recently presented at the meeting of the Midwest Sociological Society.)
Looked at another way, he found that more than 75 percent of colleges appeared to overrepresent black students in viewbooks.
So why are black students more prevalent in viewbooks than on campus?
“Black equals diversity for many people. If you show African American students, people think that means your institution is diverse,” said Timothy D. Pippert, an assistant professor of sociology at Augsburg, who led the study. “They are defining diversity as that face.”

At the same time, he said he worried that the message seems to be focused primarily on one group and that those who are black may not be getting an accurate picture. “I see a problem in that so many schools are presenting a picture that may not be a valid representation,” he said.
George Dehne, who runs an eponymous admissions consulting firm, said that it is unfortunate that colleges try to portray themselves as having more black students than they do, but he sees it all the time. “We tell colleges that it’s a mistake and they shouldn’t do it, but we get overruled,” he said. “Sometimes you see the same black kid in every picture,” he said.

Of course, racial representation isn’t the only selective editing that may be going on in viewbooks. Colleges’ promotional materials somehow manage not to include many students who look like they just pulled an all-nighter—and they tend to include more happy, attractive students than one might see on an average day. Pippert said his research didn’t include questions of whether there was overall accuracy in the students portrayed, but noted that one student who helped in the research quipped that the photos were generally of “hot chicks and minorities.”

Have you taken a look at the TV lately? In almost every commercial there is a black person. In every commercial that represents neighborhood cookouts, party’s or the workplace, you’ll find an African-american. He’s usually the smart one, telling the SWM (stupid white male) how to fix things, buy insurance, get a date, etc. Sort of funny, because I live near Cleveland, which is one of the top “chocolate cities.” and I have zero black friends, work with zero black folks and have zero black people living near me.

They’re more prevalent in everything these days. I see far more non-whites on TV than their share of the population. Every single white I know has noticed and commented (negatively) on this.

I have seen similar things on public library brochures where there are photos of few if any Whites.
Even in inner city libraries I have visited over the years, there are more Whites than blacks, browns or yellows.

Quite true, more minorities are shown on most university brochures and websites than are actually on campus. Maybe these publications represent the college administrators’ ideal of diversity—sort of like the final withering away of capitalism under Marxism.

I’m gonna take a wild guess and assume the “hot chicks” this kid is talking about are White. This means pretty White girls coupled with male minorities with no evil White men in sight.

This is actually quite interesting, as it appears these universities have invented a sort of “negative advertising”, in which they spend money on brochures to make their institutions look less appealing than they actually are. Black students may equal “diversity” for many people, but they also equal on-campus thefts and dorm room rapes for many people.

Diversity and multiculturalism are tools used to pacify undesirables in society.
In the same way that young children are praised when they pick up their rooms or eat their vegetables, many adult minorities, especially Blacks, require the same degree of special coaxing, prodding, and direction in order to accomplish the barest of minimums in life.
Forced affirmative action, forced desegregation, and forced quotas exist because most Blacks are completely helpless without social engineering designed to artifically alter the balance of natural outcomes.
Whites need to become more vocal in asserting that Blacks do not belong in the western civilization. I’m appaled when I hear Whites say, “This has nothing to do with race.” Nonsense! Life is an exercise in race and we, as Whites, need to be willing to stand up and say as much, the consequences be damned!
All of that said, I truly do not blame the Blacks for what they are. I certainly do not hate them. They are as nature made them and they should not be hated or harmed in any way. Instead, I blame the most elite Whites for allowing this charade to continue. Somewhere, someone, is most assuredly profitting greatly from the forced misery they have engineered and perpetuated on western civilization.
If history is any type of predictor, this will all end badly someday.

In the mid 90’s, I worked at a health and science serials department at the university. One day, I was given the task of indexing primarially graduate catalogues.
I had a cart of about 100 catalogues loaded on both sides. Of every catalogue, they showed only non-whites and females. Not one catalogue that had photographs of students on the cover showed a white male.
While I don’t consider this an organized conspiracy, I do believe that the schools that put out these catalogues are motivated by the political pressure to highlight non-whites and women. Individually, each school is only doing what they’ve been ‘trained’ to do; show non-whites and females. No school is willing to endure the criticism from non-whites and females that their school catalogue was favoring white males. Hence, no white males.
PS: This experience was so blatant and striking to me that I count this as one of my early race consciousness moments. It was rather surreal not seeing a single white male for a graduate program.

I my law school brochure was sprinkled with blacks. Once I started school in September, however, I was pleasantly surprised to find out my class was 100 percent white.

I’m sure many posters will see it— if they showed a lower percentage of black faces in the publications than they have on campus, they would be criticized for “covering up” the reality in order to present a “whiter” image.
Liberals are always trying to play “gotcha.” Showing everyone else how smart they are is their main joy in life.

As someone who has just recently finished the college application process, I can say that the PR costs of colleges probably raid endowments. Starting a week before the end of my junior year of high school I started getting promotional materials from colleges I had never heard of. It started with a trickle, but by mid summer these bastions of environmental thought, one even going so far as to mention that students enthusiastically recycle empty beer cans, had most certainly felled a redwood in order to advertise themselves. The view books are what they send once you show true interest in applying. They are ridiculous. They each seem like clones of each other, with page after page of profiles on pretty, hardworking, squeaky clean students. One will always be an unconventionally handsome white male who tells how he only became an intellectual at college, another will be the beautiful white girl studying theatre, then the black female studying chemistry, then an overweight girl. Then more pictures of students sitting in front of campuses oldest buildings, studying and laughing on the lawn. All have a distinct culty slogan, generally trying to make one feel like this particular college will define them. You are (liberal arts college), Are you (liberal arts college), Be (liberal arts college), etc. Yes they all talk about diversity, but the profound discussions students have and the coffee shop they frequent. Blech. They all follow the same script. But most colleges are, or try to be, carbon copies of each other to attract quirky hipster kids who have pretentious and shallow tastes. At least with small colleges. I didn’t apply to larger or state universities; I assume they cater to the fun loving but open minded All American teen.

Meanwhile, the engineering building at the university where I work is full of Indians. I refer to it as “little India.” Of course, those folks are noticably absent from the liberal arts buildings, which are full of blacks.

I seriously doubt that these sociologists were reporting accurately. In media today - whatever media you choose - Blacks, Hispanics, Indians and Orientals are VASTLY OVERREPRESENTED. All one needs to do is travel to a city like New York or Philadelphia to see the advertising in the street, on billboards, in buses and on subways. All one needs to do is take a trip on a New York City subway. One would think that Whites don’t even exist!! Go to the Internet and view typical company websites. Non-Whites and women are almost always depicted in higher percentages than those evil heterosexual White Males. I browsed the home page of a website of a large company recently and on the homepage was depicted a BLACK, AN APPARENT HISPANIC AND AN ORIENTAL, BUT NO WHITES. It’s incredible. When White’s are depicted one might see a White woman with blonde hair (the quintissential White woman) usually depicted standing next to a Black male. This is the silent command to young White girls to “Go thou now and do likewise” as Dr. Pierce stated. AND-IT’S GETTING WORSE ALL THE TIME.

After Cincinnati’s black riots over “racial profiling” in 2001, and the subsequent boycott of the city by militant black organizations, the black vice-mayor of the city authorized a new tourism brochure to encourage blacks to exploit their advantage here.
The title and theme of the PUBLICLY FUNDED brochure was: “Cincinnati; We’re on the Move” (a direct reference to an MLK declaration during the southern “civil rights” movement in the ’60s).
This extravagent publication included many glossy pictures of a whole lotta black folks livin’ it up; the only white person shown was the sympathetic (pathetic) then-presiding mayor who subsequently honored the local Democratic Party’s suggestion that he not seek re-election in order that a black candidate might ascend to the position.
Now that the city has been made “ready for such an honor,” the NAACP is holding its national convention here this month.
In Cincinnati, perception has become a reality through devious manipulation. And us humble white folk be movin’ on outta town.

I find it fascinating to observe the different departments in colleges with regard to their racial makeup. You will see proportionaly more asians & Indians (east) in the higher math, physics, engineering and chemistry depts. Blacks populate departments like African-American studies, gender studies, sociology, etc. Of course whites are the majority in all departments.
A degree in African American studies is worth about as much as a high school diploma.

This mentality extends also to the homes of liberals. I’ve noticed that the faces of non-whites are considered “art” in their own right amongst liberals. Whites are used as art generally only in some other context (family portraits, an event of some kind etc.) Liberals consider colleges and universities as extensions of their own homes - so they show as few white faces as possible.

The T.V is completely shot these days. I burn out the remote when the brainwash commercials start. If I saw a college brochure with a black on every page that is the last place I would go.There was a PC poster in our dorm that had two blacks scientists in a laboratory pouring beakers into a pyrex flask. Someone labeled LSD on one beaker and Crack on the other, when I saw it I laughed for an hour. The University went berserk trying to hunt down the hateful vandal.

If the idea is make blacks feel welcome at concerts, then it is misdirected: there are very few blacks in Germany, and even fewer educated ones, no such ad will get them to pay to sit through Mahler & Beethoven.

I find it also interesting how VASTLY underrated black criminals are in TV legal & cop shows. The evil rapist, murderer is always a white guy in a suit or a homeless 25 yr old. The judge is black. The do-gooder attorneys are black and the evil defense attorneys are white.
NOW….when you switch to REALITY shows like COPS or THE FIRST 48. The murderers/criminals are ALWAYS black. The cops/lawyers are mostly white. You get a glimpse of what living among them is like. ALL baby-mamas, all ignorant aggressive males. All of life revolves around drugs, hustlin, welfare, section 8. Everybody involved has criminal records. Its really a 180 degree shift from what they put on TV.
Im sure if a show did portray blacks how they really are there would be a mob of them screaming racism. As we know, all a black has to do is accuse a white of being racist and the white will cower and give in immediately.
Thank God for AMREN. A voice of truth in a politically correct wasteland.

Oh, my, God! They had a black music director/conductor here in Omaha for the Symphony Orchestra, who is fortunately gone now. Though I haven’t attended the Symphony here, I have looked over their programs and listened to the CD they produced. While he was the conductor, I didn’t much care for the material they played (absolutely nothing from the masters - Bach, Beethoven, or Mozart - but lots of adaptations of more modern stuff). Now that he’s gone, they’ve actually had a night of Mozart (wish I could have attended), along with other work by the masters, mixed in with occasional modern work. In my opinion, that’s more like it. What’s classical music without the classics?
My wife records soap operas on the DVR and watches them regularly. On a recent episode of one of them, a black US Attorney talked about his late African-American wife, who was supposedly a highly intelligent investment banker who loved Mozart (and incorrectly pronounced the name!) and making pottery. I’ve been around blacks in various settings my whole life, and I’ve never met even one who could come close to that description. Not one. However, I’ve known several Whites and a few Orientals who could match that description. I’m getting real sick of the media and radical egalitarians trying to push the idea that blacks can be like Whites. It’s simply not true. Any black who would come close to the description above is exceedingly rare, and probably would be a conservative Supreme Court justice or something outside the mainstream.
And it’s not just college catalogs or TV shows pushing the false diversity junk (boy, I wish I could use stronger terminology!). I read a couple of PDF files downloaded from a computer project management web site, and most of the pictures there showed the standard multi-cult nonsense. Interesting, I’ve been in the IT field for about 20 years in several US cities, and I’ve run into a grand total of about 4 or 5 blacks, and not a single black woman (though the pictures included black women). And the black men I have run into aren’t nearly as competent as the large number of Whites I’ve worked with over the years. Every time I attend a computer event (like a developers’ conference or something), it’s still 80-90% White, with the occasional token black who usually isn’t a programmer or highly skilled technician. This is really getting disgusting. Will somebody please make it stop?!

I enjoyed most all of the post and agreed and especially the ones regarding how the media insults our intelligence with showing the blak guy so much smarter than the white guy and show a little black boy with a cute little blonde white girl. They are trying to brainwash our children so if I had young ones today I would monitor every program they watched and just maybe if everyone did that and contacted the sponsors and not buy their product..then…the pocketbook would get their attention. I watch fox and sometimes cnn and not very often. outcaste

Never underestimate the fear of lawsuits in all this. The NAACP, MALDEF and all the rest have displayed a propensity to sue if blacks (or Hispanics) are “underrepresented” in photos or commercials. And they’ve won, too. The abuse of law is what is driving most of this. A perfectly sound reason, by the way, to abolish affirmative action in law school admissions.

I graduated UC Santa Cruz in chemistry, and my racial awakening was there. Good instruction in the sciences, a really pretty campus; what could be wrong?
Having grown up in Boulder, Colorado, I was under the mistaken impression that I was used to dealing with socialists. While at UCSC, I turned into a real commie-hater, and I don’t mean just a little bit. For one year, I had an “I KILL COMMUNISTS” bumper sticker on my car. Another sticker said “YOU DON’T KNOW WHO IS WATCHING THIS CAR”.
I became used to being lied to. A professor I once asked about doing a senior research project with one of his grad students told me he didn’t have the money. “What money?” I was going to work with this guy for free. I had already been working as a lab assistant, doing everything from chemistry to gadget-building summers home. He hired an Asian gal, also an undergrad about two weeks later, and paid her to do the same thing. I have 79 US and foreign patents awarded. I wonder how many she - or even the idiot professor - has.
As an alumnus, I still get mail from UCSC. For a while, much of it was from the chemistry department, begging for money to “fund” undergrad senior projects. These stopped coming after I sent them an extremely nasty single-spaced, double-sided letter that required multiple stamps to mail, in which I described exactly how I had been treated, what I still thought of it, and how much money would ever be forthcoming.
I still put down UCSC at every opportunity. The science faculty were fine. The humanities faculty thought they were there to indoctrinate us. The administration would be utterly unemployable anywhere else in the world, and two decades later, I still hate them with fanatical abandon.
Marxist political indoctrination, administrative bullying and politically-correct favoritism may work on some people, but when it fails, it fails utterly.

We have this situation in England. The country is still 90% white,(despite the best efforts of the mass immigrationists) but public sector publications are crammed with black faces, often to the extent that they outnumber whites.
Naturally both races are shown laughing, mixing and co-operating in a way rarely, if ever, seen in real life.

Good point! I’ve been to a number of homes of art professors and they seem to make a fetish of African art, as well as photos and pictures featuring non white minorities. While some of the art was good, much of it was crude and ugly in the extreme. I visited one professor’s house that had no family pictures or religious objects, but only African masks—some of which were pounded full of cheap nails! If they actually wore them, I can imagine how they would have felt on their faces.

Sardonicus: Absolutely, the way intellectuals will eat up primitive trinkets reminds me of a 12 year old boy in a souvenier shop on an Indian reservation. I knew a White woman in the authentic native peoples spiritual mojo objects business. As far as she was concerned, separating fools from their money was a good deed, especially since she kept 4 or 5 men employed for years doing it. Are you aware of the market in “Native American Dogs”? $1500 per mutt, plus you have to pay to take classes to ensure that you have the proper appreciation for the spiritual nature of the beasts. It takes a special sort of person with a finely tuned abdawe and a well-developed ungawa to paint this fence…er…be in companionship with this dog.
That’s what minorities are to the average liberal, pets. Pets that express their good taste, their refined appreciation for other people’s suffering, their finely tuned abdawe and their well-developed ungawa. It’s a status competition. And some of the minorities figure it out, and hate them for it, more than they hate us.

@Scott. A fellow slug! I don’t know, my friend, I think it is possible to put the education on offer at UC Santa Cruz to good use. Even as the nagging doubts I’ve long had on matters of race have slowly hardened into a series of nagging doubts, dark suspicions, and terrible fears about the truth (as a white liberal, you must know I’m hopelessly, pathetically conflicted) I’m becoming more aware of the need to use my “training” at UC Santa Cruz to camoflage my suspicions, only raising verboten subjects for debate and discussion with my most trusted friends or, anonymously, in places such as this. Many of us are just one stray remark, one simple question, or one honest observation away from being ostracized.

Some posters have mentioned the University of California system. It raises the question of how they changed their marketing activities after Proposition 209 went through banning race-based admissions.
A quick check of the UC Berkeley web site shows . . . almost no black faces. I had to click through about 12 web pages before finally finding one, under the Teaching sub-heading.

Give these guys a break, OK. They bent over backwards to use racist admissions standards to get as many minorities into college as possible (which is a tough thing to do considering so few have the inclination). Then, they gutted their standards in order to keep their new students from fleeing tasks far beyond their intellectual capabilities.
And still, most of them flunk out. Sure. There are a whole bunch of “diverse” people on those promotional materials. Actual students they admitted into their programs. It’s not their fault, they all flunked out after a single semester.

I too am sick & tired of brochures, tv shows and advertisements where blacks are overrepresented & unrealisticly portrayed as doctors, judges, etc. In Latin American countries like Mexico and Brazil, most of the people on tv & in magazines, brouchures, etc. have pale skin, caucasion features and blond hair (particulary if they’re female). Vdare has several aritcles by steve sailer and allan wall about the mexican/latin american obssesion with fair-skinned blond people. If you want to see the preference first hand, go watch a few telenovelas on univision.

No one is keeping blacks out of college. If anything, they get into colleges and universities with test scores lower than whites and Asians who are denied enterance. I went to colleges with black students and at least 75% drop out as soon as the last financial aid checks go out. They skip school, don’t study for tests and don’t do homework. The public schools allow this but real life doesn’t. If ANY school doesn’t have a high black population, it is 100% the fault of blacks.

I have nothing againt black folks as people but what I do resent is them being shoved down my throat around the clock. They are less that 14% of the population yet if we were to draw our conclusions from the TV, Sales Ads.,Movies, they are the majority here in America.Almost any claim they make of some faux accomplishment, medicine, inventions, education, can be proven to be a totally made up lie within minutes of investigation. It’s not them gaining all this undeserved ground it’s our fault, who cater to these people and try to raise them to a level they do not deserve. When they are in charge, and that is coming because we are allowing it, you will find out their feeling on fairness and diversity, and you won’t like them.

I know what you mean, but we ought to differentiate between social Marxism and economic Marxism. It is perfectly possible to have non-white capitalism. Capitalism is having quite a day in “Communist” China as it has in Japan and other Asian nations. And of course we can’t forget those wonderful Arabian capitalists.
Social Marxism seems to be an exclusively Western phenomena where its promoters see the racial aspects of social eqalitarianism eventually resulting in economic and political eqalitarianism. Of course, it has perverted reason and reality along the way and presents us with the ridiculous propaganda in the media and in items such as college catalogues. The scary thing is that so many people, especially young people don’t seem to notice it or are afraid to show that they notice it.

In all of my experiences combined, from elementary school, to high school, college, graduate school, teaching, the business world, and my personal life, I estimate that fewer than 5 percent of Blacks are worth anything to western civilization. The Whites who have bought into the egalitarian ruse are not worth much to western civilization either. In fact, they represent most of the real threat to America, not the Blacks.
When a mediocre Black emerges and puts forth a modest effort to become a responsible person, he is considered a novelty and lauded as such. Mediocricy has been the benchmark for 40+ years. Whites see this and reason, “Why try as hard when the achievement bar has been greatly lowered?” Result? America has become a soiled, tarnished nation.
If all non-hispanic Whites (and the other non-Black races and ethnicities) suddenly disappeared from the United States, how long would it take the United States to deteriorate to the level of Africa?

I have spent quite a while in Canada and everywhere in Canada, not only on school brochures, the East Asian males is the least represented group, and the black males and Asian females are the most represented groups. In college/university brochures and front pages of the websites of universities and colleges in Canada, I rarely, if ever, see any East Asian male. However, I do see Black males and East Indian males very often.
sometimes I did feel a little bit it is unfair, when I always saw black men portrayed as doctors, judges and experts and saw 10 times more Asian women than Asian men on TV, and I said to myself a few times, “If black men and Asian women are so wonderful, then they should marry each other!” but I decided not to complain. If I work hard, if I am worthy of attention, then I will get attention. And of course there are benefits of being an East Asian male. (I do not like too much attention anyways)

Has anyone actual verified that 14% figure? It seems that Blacks were 14% of the population back in the 80s. I have to believe that it’s more than that.

“Have you taken a look at the TV lately? In almost every commercial there is a black person. In every commercial that represents neighborhood cookouts, party’s or the workplace, you’ll find an African-american. He’s usually the smart one, telling the SWM (stupid white male) how to fix things, buy insurance, get a date, etc.
As bad as it is now, it used to be alot worse I think. I remember one Burger King commercial some time ago with black cowboys and White women in it. Totally disgusting.

Since blacks are already overrepresented in college when you take into account any objective measure of their abilities, the solution here is simple - just quit adding them to college brochures.

According to the US Census Bureau (figures for entire USA):
Population, 2006 estimate: 299,398,484
White persons not Hispanic, percent, 2006: 66.4%
Black persons, percent, 2006 (a): 12.8%
Persons of Hispanic or Latino origin, percent, 2006 (b): 14.8%
Persons reporting two or more races, percent, 2006: 1.6%
(a) Includes persons reporting only one race.
(b) Hispanics may be of any race, so also are included in applicable race categories.
People of two or more races could include Caucasian/Oriental mixtures, etc. If we make the radical assumption that the entire 1.6% is Caucasian/Black mixture instead, the total would be 14.4% (12.8 + 1.6). That’s probably kind of radical, but it’s the best we can do without more granular data (and I’m too tired to do the research right now). However, the approximately 14% figure could still be pretty close.

This sort of reminds me of one edition of MAD Magazine from the early 70’s that I read while in Elementry school.
It was a simple cartoon that had a group of angry, militant Blacks protesting in the streets and off to the side was a White store-owner nervously and discreetly putting a sign that said “Soul Brother” in his window. As I recall there was an even bigger sign hanging from the door that said “Closed.”

The obvious behind this is that not only is it a cheap ploy of social engineering, its a clear disenfranchisement of whites by intentionally under-representing them in terms of their actual campus presence. If this were in the reverse, we’d have hell to pay.

Some of our fellow Whites make a living out systematically defrauding responsible Whites and piping the money through Blacks and right back into their own personal bank accounts.
Little of this is the faults of Blacks. Make no mistake, it is our fellow Whites in the corporate world and government who damage civilization the most.
These Whites are not interested in cultural preservation. They are interested in how large their bank accounts are. Pure and simple.
I have suggested here a thousand times that the way to combat this problem is to become organized and begin economically sanctioning the biggest perpetrators, but no one ever listens. All we do here is gripe and complain, day after day.
I have suggested that we all mail letters to [insert chosen corporation here] accusing them of multiculturalism and tell them that we will not be spending any money on their products as punishment for their cultural crimes against Whites. They will feel that. But this deed cannot carried out be five angry people on an AmRen thread. It must be tens of thousands of Whites acting as one.
Will you people ever learn? No wonder we are were we are.

Is it mandated that schools represent blacks in their advertising?
Otherwise, I don’t see how it helps them get more blacks into their institution or even appeals to black applicants.
Most of blacks are singled out for college by government programs when they are in grade-school.
Their hands are held. They are spoon-fed. And professors/teachers are told that they MUST pass them.
They get into professional school before they apply. And then they are generously given the answers to all tests several weeks prior.
They still manage to fail in large numbers.
It is an inefficient use of society’s resources and does a disservice to blacks as a whole.

I have noticed how companies like Lexis-Nexis and Factiva use blacks up front and center (usually a black man). The hilarious thing is, as so many have noticed, is that almost all the high level people these blacks are representing are, in reality, white or perhaps Asian or east Indian. For a while it didn’t bother me, but it has persisted. I mean the trainers, all the really smart people who use the software, the customer service, they are ALMOST ALL WHITE. And yet they have these blacks plastered all over the place as if blacks invented and run the damn company. A black here and there, ok. But freakin’ EVERYWHERE. It’s getting so just the sight of one in an ad makes me queasy. I actually avoid the products constantly featuring a bunch of blacks if I can. I’ve tried to reconcile this in my mind with early idealism and thoughts of equality. What makes me queasy is this: blacks provide very little of a positive nature to the business world; a few are competent and ok to deal with but when I look at how they have ruined cities, schools, neighborhoods, public places they frequent, when I think of crime they perpetrate (I and my family and friends have been victims, as has almost every white in an urban area I know) it just makes me sick to see them paraded in public advertisements as if the prosperity and productivity of whatever is being advertised depends on them when almost exactly the opposite is more likely true.

About 11 years ago, Levi Jeans sent me a mini catalog with their products. I had been wearing Levis since I was about 7. In their catalog, I was astonished to see they featured Black guys and White girls in sexed-up poses. Page after page was the same. I tossed it in the trash where it belonged. The same diversity message was all over their website too. I sent them a letter expressing my views and I haven’t bought a pair of Levis since.
Please do not reward misbehavior my friends. Your money talks. Communicate your displeasure, avoid the diversity corps, and sanction undesirable behavior by witholding your money.
