Swelling populations and a global tide of immigration will present new security challenges for the United States by straining resources and stoking extremism and civil unrest in distant corners of the globe, CIA Director Michael V. Hayden said in a speech yesterday.
The population surge could undermine the stability of some of the world’s most fragile states, especially in Africa, while in the West, governments will be forced to grapple with ever larger immigrant communities and deepening divisions over ethnicity and race, Hayden said.
Hayden, speaking at Kansas State University, described the projected 33 percent growth in global population over the next 40 years as one of three significant trends that will alter the security landscape in the current century. By 2050, the number of humans on Earth is expected to rise from 6.7 billion to more than 9 billion, he said.

European countries, many of which already have large immigrant communities, will see particular growth in their Muslim populations while the number of non-Muslims will shrink as birthrates fall. “Social integration of immigrants will pose a significant challenge to many host nations—again boosting the potential for unrest and extremism,” Hayden said.
The CIA director also predicted a widening gulf between Europe and North America on how to deal with security threats, including terrorism. While U.S. and European officials agree on the urgency of the terrorism threat, there is a fundamental difference—a “transatlantic divide”—over the solution, he said.
While the United States sees the fight against terrorism as a global war, European nations perceive the terrorist threat as a law enforcement problem, he said.

He doesn’t even have it right as to the depth and scope of the problem, and he regards the situation as reaching a critical point in 40 years, but it’s upon us RIGHT NOW. Forget about 40 years.
If he had any cajones, he would be loudly sounding the alarm as to the many dangers of a fractious tribal society.
The sub-prime market has crashed and has spilled over into mainstream institutions, which is like a juggernaught slowly rolling around the world. Estimates from the economic elites range from a bad recession to the worst depression in all of history that will affect the entire globe. And the culmination of this creeping potential catastrophe could be as early as 2009, so it’s very possible the warnings of this crack CIA leader are a bit off by about 40 years. Typical for the CIA.
Wasn’t this the same organization that miscalculated the military might and other intelligence of almost every country we’ve needed intelligence on? I mean, like Iraq, Bosnia, the Aspirin factory in Khartoum, etc.?
So now, we have a tribal society that is literally on the brink right now, with our water tables being depleted, our food growth capacity cut back severely, with food rationing in the US just beginning, plus rationing and riots in other parts of the world that promise to get worse from this point forward,
and we have a neo-con telling us to watch out in about 40 years.
His idiotic speech could have been given by the average high school senior, who keeps current on items in the news and is aware of the dangers of multiculturalism.

It looks like the next stop of this social patology is going to be the U.S.
I listened to live video (by ABC) from Chcago’s May 1 illegal “immigration” rally. The speakers barked their speeches about the same way like Hitler barked his. And the “just” motovation for both groups (NAZIs in Germany and Mexican “Latinos” in the U.S.) was strikingly similar: to open the border of the neighbor country in order to facilitate mass migration of “dispossessed” people into their “historic” lands, so that they can breed thier countless kids there.
Luckily for us, unlike the 3rd Reich, Mexico is military irrelevant. But with so many morons and liberals (not that these two nouns are mutually exclusive) in American government, who needs an army to grab the neighbor’s land?

So now that we know that global immigration to the U.S. as the article says will result in extremism and unrest, the logical solution is to increase immigration both legal and illegal. And there are people that say they don’t believe this stuff is being done on purpose? What is the solution then? Is is to crack down on Americans heads if they object and get angry, since the article suggests that the U.S. government isn’t going to stop any of it. Or did I misread it?

I think the “geniuses” who run our government are finally starting to question the wisdom of what they’ve been doing for the last SIXTY YEARS.
You’d of thought that the Machiavellian “ultra-rationalists” at the CIA would have known that multi-racial democracies all have short shelf lives. Aristotle knew that, and he wrote about it, 2500 YEARS AGO. So did many other great Western thinkers.
My guess is that they thought that if they could just brainwash everyone enough, no one would ever think to use race or religion as a means to achieve their goals.
Something also tells me that somewhere down the line institutions like the CIA began to actually believe in multi-culturalism and or cosmopolitanism.

It is so easy to stop this. Stop immigration and incentivize your own population to have children. Strong enough incentives is all it takes. Make it better to have children than not to have children. Well, that is one vision of the future Mr. Hayden, but it is not certainly the only one. The West as you very well know, need not be “forced to grapple with ever larger immigrant communities and deepening divisions over ethnicity and race,” if they wake up now and simply end all nonwhite immigration into our lands. As any reader of AR knows, they contribute absolutely nothing except crime, chaos, and a depletion of resources.
We all know this, and those in the opposition who say otherwise are simply deluding themselves, or willfully attempting to confuse others; if this were not the case, their would not be a need for endless organizations, demonstrations, or sloganeering. That is to say nothing of the endless Federal decrees to guarantee these bipedal parasites’ “civil rights.”
Or put another way, anything that is claimed to be “inherently good” or even “natural,” need not have so much attention and legislation lavished upon it to prove the reality of it. After all, how many of us need to have an amendment to the US Constitution to ensure that we regularly: eat, sleep, or defecate and then flush the toilet after we do it? These are all required and natural functions, thus we accept them as such and need not a single bayonet at our throats to engage in them.
How odd is that; never a word about the crisis looming between the individuals of any given Western country and their: beds, bellies, and bowels?
This of course cannot be said of all manner of Third World: “immigrants,” “migrants,” or “refugees.” If anything, these are resource competitors that cannot provide for themselves adequately to meet the requirements of the basic bed, belly, and bowel triad in their own lands. If they could, then they would not be overpopulating them and our planet as a whole, and need to “enrich” our lands by the millions.
This is not rocket science, it is a simple question of realizing that there are finite resources and livable spaces on our world. The West above all else, must wake up to this reality; we cannot and should not absorb the masses of over breeding nonwhite “humanity,” for our own sakes and those of our children. If they starve to death or kill each other in their countries by the millions or even billions, while tragic, is not our concern!
Our only concern must be, that they do not visit the same upon us or our countries.
If not, then indeed God help us all!

I just finished reading Pat Buchanan’s article on VDARE’s site. He ends it with this,
“Hopefully, the peoples of Asia, Africa and the Middle East, who are about to inherit the earth as we pass away, will treat us better than our ancestors treated them in the five centuries that Western Man ruled the world.
Otherwise, we all go out with a bang.”
Now, why would a conservative, a famous one, one of THE most famous conservative, say something like that? And I ask this as a committed Independent. It just struck me as so PC. I don’t know, it surprised me. Maybe someone here at AR who is more up on him could explain it.
I mean, aren’t we in the situation we’re in today exactly because we treated them so well? Even trowing open our borders. Hell, as some people here have posted, we treat them better than we do our own family members. Which would explain why White families are falling apart, something I know Buchanan has complained about in the past, while all non-white groups are virtually thriving!
When I read it my gut reaction was - Geez Pat, why encourage them? And with a PC exaggeration, if not in some cases, flat out falsehood?

Two things emerge from Mr. Hayden’s statements:
1) He is joining the chorus that Russia “will have” to take in more immigrants. I suppose in his view there are no other options for Russia???
2) He is concerned about “hate crimes” in Russia against, presumably, Muslims??? Why is our CIA Director sounding like the Southern Poverty Law Center??? The tolls he is so concerned about for an entire nation could be easily topped by regular crimes any major US “multicultural” city.
My analysis of Mr. Hayden’s comments is that he, like the GW Bush administration, are committed globalists. Mass immigration is going to be allowed, and all the first world nations are just going to have to deal with it by “social integration”. He is assuming that all first world nations should be “propositional” nations, and that all people, including immigrants, are fungible.
No where does he call for limiting immigration as a solution for the problems that he is forecasting…rather odd, as that would be so simple a solution. That would be heresy in the GW Bush administration.
The bottom line is that our Central Intelligence Agency is attempting to stop Islamic terrorism, but it is indifferent to the mass Muslim invasion of Europe that in the end will be much more decisive than a few random acts of terror. The GW Bush administration has pushed for the full inclusion of Turkey into the EU, has recognized the Muslim breakaway state of Kosovo, and has invited the Muslim drug running and human trafficking state of Albania to join NATO?!?!

And what does Bush do? Yesterday, he takes hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars and gives it away in food aid to Africa when this country is about to go into a depression. This food aid will result in greater populations in the future and an even bigger food shortage then. If we are going to babysit the entire planet and use our wealth to do it we should be providing hundreds of millions of dollars for sterilization instead of food. When will we ever face the overpopulation problem? If we don’t, Mother Nature will do it for us and that will not be very pretty.

People simply prefer to associate only with THEIR OWN KIND — one of humanity’s most basic survival instincts. The problem is, generally speaking, conventional wars only really happen between groups that have roughly the same average IQ. If one side’s IQ is significantly higher than the other’s, the other almost always gets creamed.
Yet the motives for war — land, resources, etc. — remain. If the low-IQ population is growing quickly, it will need more land and resources. But they can’t attack the high-IQ population because they’d be soundly defeated… unless the high-IQ population is arrogant or altruistic enough to let them in anyway as a slave caste.
The reason we haven’t fought the brown tide is precisely this. They are not seen as direct threats to our society. They are simply the gardener, the nanny, and so forth.
It looks like high-IQ whites need even higher IQs.

If a continent’s women average five children, they could lose 40% of all their people to disasters such as AIDS, war, famine, pestilence, and so forth, and still grow as fast as North Africa or Latin America (three children per woman) right now.
AIDS would need to get far worse in Africa (and all over Africa, not just the southern end) to actually damage its population growth. Of course, it won’t, thanks to white technology and altruism.

What is unspoken here is the nature of the friction between ‘immigrants’ and ‘host nations.’ A good name for it would be cultural revulsion. The intolerable realization arising among civilized people as they see their civilization being overrun by third-worlders who are utterly incompetant to comprehend, let alone respect a higher civilization, and who instead are fanatically determined to enforce their own viscious and ignorant culture to debase everyone else.
“unrest and extremism” will certainly trail this growing outrage among the awake like night follows day.

Without more people knowing what our future looks like, we will keep getting the same idiots elected.

An excellent question Mr. Fields!
My guess is that Pat Buchanan actually wrote that to be somewhat ominously sardonic and thought provoking. If you have read either of his books, “State of Emergency” or “The Death of the West,” it is clear that he feels we are making a terrible mistake in the West and have treated and are treating them (i.e., nonwhites of the Third World) far too benevolently. Both the focal points in those books center on the problem of the declining global white populations in their countries of control and the “mass migrations” of ignorant, but also excruciatingly arrogant and “entitlement” oriented, peons and banditos that we are allowing to flood into our lands.
These books were (and I would strongly speculate, so was the VDARE article) designed to shock into racial awareness, the slumbering white majorities in : the USA, Europe, Australia, and etc., to the threats they face from nonwhite “enrichment.”
Mr. Buchanan is very consistent in his disdain for the Third World and multiculturalism; so much so, that he is even grudgingly encouraging Hillary’s defeat of Obama in the remaining Democratic primaries, and lashing out at his media “peers” for their blatant support of the mulatto who would be king.
Watch Hardball or Morning Joe on MSNBC, Mr. Buchanan is a regular on these shows and you can get a first hand feel for where he is coming from.

Africans in America alone have killed 10 times more whites in the past 40 years than they were ever killed in the USA. Reading between the lines the CIA chief is basically saying that mass migration from the third world to the white, western world (U.S., Europe, Australia) is irreversible and unstoppable. The best we can hope for is that this phenomena be “managed” properly, whatever that means. I have a hunch that the “controlled chaos” we see in Iraq will be coming to our neighborhoods sooner than we think.
All white nations could easily reverse these trends if only they had the will. We don’t, or at least our elected representatives don’t, and I see dark days ahead for all of us. These invaders (not immigrants) hail from countries in which one is strictly judged according to race, ethnicity and/or religion. This doesn’t bode well for the “race doesn’t matter” and ultra-individualistic white person. Chances are that type of white person will be dead by the time they realize the error of their ways.
Japan will remain homogeneous, orderly and relatively prosperous because they have a healthy sense of racial identity and refuse to inundate their nation with backward, non-Japanese immigrants. They aren’t suckers for the multi-cult propaganda like we are. We should be taking lessons from them.

The amazing thing about all these future predictions is that they are based upon the belief that all human beings are interchangeable. I would like to see a race realist view of the future, one where the implications of a lowered peak human intelligence are considered. If the theory of entropy is true, in a few thousand years mankind will be a homogenous mass made up of the various races, with the real innovaters, the smartest europeans, bred out of existence. What happens when there are no more Einsteins, Galileos, or Wright brothers? Will innovation continue? the Physicist Michu Kaku always talks about type three civilizations and the natural progression of worlds. What is the fate of a world based upon the African brain?
Will the future worlds all look like Brazil? Does anyone know of a science fiction book based on this premise?

I mean, aren’t we in the situation we’re in today exactly because we treated them so well? Even trowing open our borders. Hell, as some people here have posted, we treat them better than we do our own family members.

We have been too kind to them. The problem is that for thousands of years they were in ecological balance, where deaths equaled births. Sure, their females pumped out 8 babies, but most died before breeding. Then Europeans brought agriculture, hygiene, medicine, and technology. This eliminated deaths, but not births, allowing the Third World to reproduce at an explosive rate. Our kindness caused this problem. We must help the Third World adjust back to a sustainable pattern, where births = deaths (where replacement rate is at or below 2).

It looks to me like pan-nationalism is the last hope for ALL people of ALL ethnicities to be satisfied. Globalization has obviously had many more negatives than positives, so the pan-nationlist ideology remains the most logical in allowing everyone the right to self-determination and a homeland. Without a homogenous homeland, there will not exist a nation. The best thing for Whites would be to encourage migration to one of the last remaining predominantly white regions left in North America and start from there. Staying spread out across the continent and living in diversity is never going to improve our demographic crisis.
We are now down to 8% of the global population. If we as a people are to have any chance of surviving into the next century, then action must be taken immediately to form a realistic community.

Burt Fields, Buchanan made the statement about hoping that those who inherit the earth would treat us better than our ancestors did them, because he is obviously as brainwashed as so many other people are by erroneous leftist philosophy. You cannot make moral judgements about times that were very different from our won. Show me one group of people in past ages that were ever gentle, loving, fairminded, or whatever adjective to care to use, towards those whom they conquered? It wasn’t human nature then, and you could argue isn’t now—for anyone. Just witness the barbarism that goes on now in so many places in the world where people behead, torture, cut limbs off, etc. of their OWN KIND. Does anyone believe they would treat strangers differently?

With regards to the Buchanan article, I’m bothered by his statement that he hopes non-whites treat us better than we treated them. The implication being that we brutalized and killed them back in the day. There were excesses, of course, in the context of battle or in trying to maintain a semblance of order in India, Africa and Asia, but contact with Europeans often resulted in a population explosion in said areas thanks to advanced medicine, technology and sanitation whites brought with them.
To answer Pat’s question, no, the non-whites will not treat us well when they gain political control in formerly white nations. At least not if the jihadists, NOI or reconquista elements have their way. At best we’ll be allowed to leave areas under their control with only the clothes on our back, at worst we’ll suffer genocide through direct violence, miscegenation or a combination of both. Defending our race wold be hate and Nazism, so we just better take our medicine.

Buchanan is NOT thinking that non-Whites will be good to us. He KNOWS they won’t! What he is trying to do is awaken the sleeping Whites who are so afraid of even thinking racially. You have to move slow with these people. I know…I have a friend who I went to fast with and it set me back a long while.
Our people have been so brainwashed and so propagandized that it will (sadly) take some time to make them see. Believe me, I would rather they just had a collective hard slap upside the head and got their heads right now.

Newsflash! There’s just one heck of alot of unrest by whites in this country too for obvious reasons. Ever some of the liberals I know are not so liberal these days. The reason is quite apparent as to the cause of this phenomeon though. Bush, Iran, Cheney, Haliburton., illegal immigration, ever expanding welfare rolls, inflation, gas prices, minority crime rate, government spying and the list goes on and on.

Renae, thanks for the input about Buchanan. I have always respected this mans intelligence. My view of white colonialism is that I believe if other races had done the colonizing they’d have made some of the rougher white colonial masters look like Angels in comparison to how they would have operated. There are in fact, many, many examples in history.
