MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP)—Steve Cohen, a white congressman representing a mostly black district, is no stranger to political attacks tinged with race. A new political flier circulating in the district is forcing him to confront anti-Semitism, too.
The flier, which showed up in mailboxes this week, aims to rally black Christians to oppose Cohen because he’s Jewish. “Memphis Congressman Steve Cohen and the Jews hate Jesus,” the flier reads in bold letters.

The flier, which was also sent by mail to the Memphis Jewish Federation, included a contact name, the Rev. George Brooks, and a phone number in Murfreesboro, a town near Nashville and some 200 miles outside Cohen’s district.
A woman who would only identify herself as a friend of Brooks answered a call to the number and said he was out of town. Repeated subsequent calls went unanswered and messages were unreturned.
Cohen easily won the 2006 general election in the heavily Democratic district, but he took a crowded primary with just barely 30 percent of the vote. Four black candidates split almost 60 percent of the vote.
Cohen’s most vocal opposition has come from critics arguing that the Memphis district, which is 60 percent black and 34 percent white, should have a black representative in Washington.
Cohen was challenged last year at a meeting of the Memphis Baptist Ministerial Association as being unable to represent the 9th District because of his race.
“He’s not black, and he can’t represent me. That’s the bottom line,” one pastor told the local newspaper as the raucous meeting broke up.
The Rev. O.C. Collins, a member of the ministerial association, later invited Cohen to speak at his church as a way to apologize for the group’s “impoliteness.”

Apparently anyone with a King James Bible and a big mouth can pass for a “reverand” in the blak community, regardless of how much hate and discontent they spread.

I have met Cohen, through a lawyer friend whose firm is fairly active in state Republican circles. Cohen will never learn that to blacks he is just another white guy to be used when they need him and to be discarded and even attacked when they no longer need him. Cohen is too bound up in his total contempt for almost all white Gentiles, especially white Southerners, to allow himself to see reality. Blacks will soon stop local squabbling and run one, maybe two, of their race against him, and Cohen will lose. Then he will spout endlessly about white racism, sexism and anti-Semitism.

Well if proportionate racial representation is what they want, then it looks like they boy Barack Obama isn’t the right race to be President, because it turns out that this country is (still) majority White.

To think that so many deluded, liberal, suburban Jews continue to mouth the party line of The Diversitoids never ceases to amaze me. The so-called black-Jewish alliance has always been a sham. For the most part, in general blacks and Jews are very disimiliar. As someone who has seen blacks up close and personal for over twenty years, I can certainly say that I am one Jew who has been mugged by reality!

If they can feel that way then why can’t we Whites? Why is it racism for us to think this but perfectly ok for blacks? Well if this is the way it is then fine, “Obama isn’t White, and he can’t represent me”. Don’t dare call me a freakin’ racist either.

Given all the bounty Jews have procured for blacks over the last century, this is somewhat surprising. Then again considering the racially obsessed black culture, maybe not. I wonder what this minister would have said if Alan Keyes or Clarence Thomas was running in that district? I think the bottom line is that blacks want someone who assures them that their own failure is Whitey’s fault, and they deserve some goodies, which the candidate promises to procure. They’d prefer a black, but will settle for a White guy if none is available. They elected Bill but have rejected Hillary for Obama. Or maybe Hillary just scares them like she scares everyone else and they dig the way Bill shoots his wad all over interns.

Ah, yes. Race trumps everything with blacks. Here’s another example of it, which will add to the other 20 to 30 examples we read about every month. Strange this failing is NEVER mentioned in the mainstrem media. They must overlook it everytime it occurs.

Cohen doesn’t get any sympathy from me. He’s a politically correct panderer ridden with White Guilt.
He’s been kissing the behinds of the substantial illegal alien population here in the last few years and recently called for the establishment of a Mexican consulate in Memphis.
Apparently this hasn’t been lost on the black population as they have been suffering the most from the invasion. Hopefully, he’ll lose his meal ticket next election……that is, of course, unless the next President crams an unwanted amnesty down our throats.

Even the ADL admit that blacks (out of all ethnic groups) are the most anti-semitic, yet the ADL seem so determined to make America a multi-racial “paradise” where political correctness is the new state religion.

You commonly see the reverend’s comments dressed up in more style or with code words. My surprise is to see it said so openly.
One way or another, blacks and whites will have to find a way to get along. The idea that Cohen, a white man and a Jew, cannot fairly represent blacks is pretty divisive, because if true it implies that whites cannot be fairly represented by a black politician.
We’re about to do that experiment w Mr. Obama.

In my experience blacks consider Jews to be white people. Most Southern blacks make no distinction. When a distinction is made, as I’ve seen in places like Chicago and New York City, it is usually on the side of anti-Semitism. While I wouldn’t say that all urban “ghetto” blacks are followers of Minister Farrakhan, many have read his Final Call and absorbed a certain amount of passive anti-Semitism. Of course, this is true for the urban black masses, not their elites.

I have noticed that much of the media has promoted an anti-White Black-and-Jew alliance, in mixing the White race out of existence. Some even try to make the Jews appear non-White. But the Jews are White. I may or may not have a smidge of Jewish; but either way, I consider the Jews one of us.
I honestly don’t understand how an anti-Semitic Gentile White is willing to accept olive-skinned dark Sicillians, dark Greeks, dark Spaniards, but reject Hebrews and even Slavic Jews, both of whom are more fairly skinned than the average Italians, Greeks, and Spaniards are. Many of the accepted Gentile Mediterranean-types are part Arab and even Black, and would be less “White” (or genetically more distant from Blonde Nordics) than even the Hebrew Jews are. I accept the Italians, Greeks, and Spaniards (as Whites), by the way.
We and Jews have differences (just like other European ethnicities), but we are of the same race. We must unite together! : )

Askenazi Jews are white. End of story whether they like it or not. The nazis weren’t afraid of Jews because they were inferior—they feared them because they were considered superior in ways. Yeah, all the ethnic groups have their singularities. When I meet an Irishman, I know who I’m dealing with. But there are a realtively few racial umbrellas and Jews fall under the white one unless they are Ethiopians. Heck, I’d even say most Sephardim I’ve seen are more white than anything else, except Sephardim. Yes they have certain genetic “markers” that indicate some sort of “middle eastern” “Semitic” origin, and they often have distinctive voices too, but not different enough to be black or brown or even chestnut. Arabs have their singularities. Iranians (Aryans) have theirs. But their racial umbrella would be off-white at the darkest. Most would blend pretty easily with Europeans if they’d forget the Islam. While race is biological and physical, there is also a certain ineffable something hard to define that signifies race and ethnicity. Music, literature, science, games (well, Mah Jong might be an exception), neighborhoods, sense of responsibility to others, altruism when not f@#$d up by war mongers who cause long spells of murderous insanity, the ability to build functioning, high-tech societies (well, NE Asians can do that too I guess), but you get my drift.
Steve Sailer introduced his minions to a web site called “stuff white people like.” It’s a scream. Most Jews would score higher than most gentiles. NE Asians would score pretty high except maybe for the dog fixation.
Blacks have as many different opinions as whites, I suppose, on this subject, but generally speaking they do not express positive feelings towards Jewish folk in my experience.
btw, I think in the past, especially in the South, blacks did separate “whites” and “jews” in separate categories, but they also put italians in a non-white category. Probably because to them, “white” meant English/Scottish/Irish types. Yet even southern Italians are not really all that dark when not tanned, and neither are most Spanish except in the Andalusian region. They are actually quite pale for the most part—a black girl I knew who had served in the american military in Spain, mentioned that she could always tell gypsies because their skin was not white like that of the Spanish.

Why waste our time on this issue? Blacks have arisen and they aren’t going away. They have more children than us. The offspring of a black and white is another black. Our white girly children emulate them and their music. White politicians are on their knees for them and completely ignore the black on white genocide, racial cleansing, rape, and other atrocities. We are getting what we deserve. Our fight is against ourselves and the white Busheviks and Bolsheviks who permit our genocide.

I don’t understand exactly what you want me to explain, but my main point was that we and the Jews are of the same kind. It’s a rebuttal against the overused carnard: “Jews and Blacks are ‘brothers,’ who must take sides against White Gentiles.”
