The numbers may be incremental, but they do show a definite trend. From Oct. 1, 2007 to Jan. 1, 2008, the number of black, registered active voters increased 1.6 percent to 1.2 million.
Over the same period, the number of white active voters increased .5 percent to 2.9 million.
African-Americans make up 27 percent of the Georgia electorate, according to the new figures. Whites make up 66 percent.
Which makes more important the fact that, even in raw numbers, new African-American voters outpaced white voters—19,351 to 16,947.
Here’s the big surprise: When divided by race and gender, black males—who generally have a spotty voting record—increased their numbers the most, by 1.9 percent.

Just think, if you made being a FELON a disqualification from voting, how you could tip the balance of voting power. How do you think anti-gun Mayor Daley stays in power in Chicago?

Maybe, but I firmly believe that on the day when it counts, blacks don’t vote, and hispanics don’t vote.

Are these newly registered voters, or newly registered pets and headstones?

They can’t get handouts if they don’t vote, can they?

One has to wonder if these new registrants will sit out the election should Hillary receive the Democratic nomination and not choose Obama as her running mate.
Not to blame them, of course. How many of us on the far right will just sit out the election, or vote Third Party, should the Republicans nominate a Rudy, McCain, or Huckabee?

Well at least I didn’t detect the usual self-loathing glee that typically accompanies such dire news.

What can I say? We’re being overrun.
I guess Obama must really be that inspiring to some.
Since before I was a teenager, my father always told me to vote Republican until I could understand a little more for myself. I understand, but now I’m too apathetic. Don’t worry. I’ll vote. I can’t complain unless I vote.
Don’t vote Independent or Third Party. That’s just a vote for the enemy. I know this choosing the lesser of two evils seems pointless, but it’s hard to imagine the much worse to come.

This is about Obama.
And when Obama loses the nomination, the democrats can forget about those black votes forever afterward.

I see Time-Warner Cable is sponsoring ads on its cable network encouraging blacks specifically to register and vote: It is an ad put together by the black supremacist NAACP and features only black spokespeople. Another example of corporate America funding leftwing and black racist political activity. They can’t use as excuse that blacks aren’t registering at the rate of whites. Of course, this is just an indirect way of specifically targeting Democrat voters, disguising it as a “public service announcement brought to you by Time-Warner Cable and the NAACP”.
Imagine if there was something like that corporate sponsored that specifically targeted white voters! “RACIST! RACIST! RACIST!”

All those whites who voted for Hillary in Michigan are racists. Time to give the blacks a chance, and Obama deserves the votes of whites, along with the votes of innocent blacks voting for another black.

I would swear I have heard some similar media tales for the last three major elections at least, with all manner of predictions of how the growing “black vote” might swing this and change that. Then it all seems to peter-out and amount to nothing.

Can you say “furloughs”?
Remember, to bar convicted felons from their “Constitutional Right” to vote is discriminatory!

It’s a meaningless statistic unless you know how many Whites are of voting age—i.e., how many were already registered.
Whites tend to vote more than other groups, so it stands to reason that most would already be registered.

It was snowing hard all over Michigan yesterday. If you look at exit poll data it suggests that blacks were approx. half as likely as white to come out and vote. Of course, if Obama’s name would have been on the ballot their would have been mass cheating in Detroit. lol. Obama screwed up big time in Michigan and he knows it. Exit poll data suggests it would have been a close race that he may have won. No he is lashing out that Hillary broke her pledge with the DNC.
Have you seen the racial sparks flying in Nevada? I’m finding this internal race war in the Democratic party to be quite funny!

This is great news. I am pretty sure all of these new voters will be Democrats. (Now, if they will only bother to show up on election day….Never mind!) The more black the Democratic Party becomes, the more whites will leave the Democratic Party. Is there anyone who believes 27% of the electorate (black) is ever going to outvote or surprise 66% of the electorate (white)??
The same thing has already happened to the Democratic Party in Texas…..the more Hispanic it became, the more whites left the Democratic Party for the Republican Party. Now the Texas Democrats are mostly Hispanic, with a sprinkling of Leftists, radicals, ultra-liberals, blacks, and Texas native elderly (FDR and LBJ Democrats).

on obamas official campaign website it states “upon completion of law school…he helped register 150,000 african americans to vote”. now, whats he up to?

“This is about Obama.
And when Obama loses the nomination, the democrats can forget about those black votes forever afterward.”
Seems to me the best strategy for the Democrats to get those black votes is for Hillary to offer Obama the Vice-Presidency. The question is would he be a liability or an asset to her campaign?

This is one reason why Democrats will *never* make a serious effort to stop blacks from having (illegitimate) babies left, right, and center…
Every black kid that survives long enough to vote is one more that will vote for the party of pandering and handouts. Eventually all the decent people in the city will just plain be outnumbered by the bloc of handout-seekers; in such a scenario, even if the votes were all cast and counted honestly, it would be impossible to stop ANOTHER welfare increase or Section 8 housing placement simply by force of numbers.
