The Immigration Debate: 70 Percent of Mexicans in California Are U.S. Citizens

Javier Erik Olvera and Mike Swift, Mercury News (San Diego), November 5, 2007

For the first time in the most current wave of immigration, U.S. Census Bureau figures show that 70 percent of California’s Mexican population are U.S. citizens, blunting widespread belief the state is overrun by illegal immigrants.

The findings are part of new data that casts a spotlight on a steady demographic transition between 2000 and 2006, with the state leading the nation in the number of Mexican immigrants gaining citizenship.

California’s Mexican population, boosted by a boom in births, is moving steadily into citizenship, with Mexican-Americans comprising about 7.6 million of the state’s 36 million residents in 2006.

“California has reached a steady state with regard to immigration,” said Dowell Myers, a demographer at the University of Southern California. “The number of new foreign-born arrivals is being offset by the number of babies who are being born here and the number of parents who are naturalizing.”

{snip}

California does not break down birth records by Latino subgroups, but Mexicans are by far the largest group in the state according to census data.

The figures show Mexican-American citizenship in California increased by 3 percentage points from 67 percent in 2000 to 70 percent at the end of 2006.

They also show that roughly half of the 460,766 Mexican immigrants who became naturalized citizens nationwide between 2000 and 2006 were in California.

{snip}

In Santa Clara County, the increase in citizens of Mexican ancestry due to birth and naturalization exceeds the growth in non-citizen immigrants by a 3-1 ratio this decade, census data shows.

{snip}

Al Camarillo, a Stanford University historian who studies Chicano history and the scattering of Mexican immigrants across the country, said the decision to have children in the U.S. is a way for illegal immigrants to begin the process of assimilation.

“They realize that we’re not going back, that we’ve been here for a long time, our children are growing up here and we’re going to stay here—those kinds of calculations have gone on in the minds of Mexican-Americans for generations. At some point they make a decision, sometimes unconsciously, ‘We’re here, this is where our children are going to be raised and this is where we’re going to remain.’”

On the other hand, many see the large number of births to illegal immigrants as a serious concern. Based on birth rates for the overall foreign-born population, the Federation for American Immigration Reform, a group that supports curbs on immigration, says there are between 287,000 and 363,000 births to illegal immigrants in the U.S. each year.

Those children, FAIR says, have a significant impact on hospitals, schools and other institutions, and constitute a major, but unknown, cost to taxpayers.

{snip}

The transition of California’s Mexican population toward citizenship is not uniform across the state. Fast growing inland areas, such as Riverside County in Southern California and Contra Costa County in the Bay Area, are gaining immigrants more quickly than they are gaining Mexican-American citizens, a reverse of the situation in Santa Clara, Los Angeles and San Diego counties.

Camarillo, the Stanford professor, said the tenor of the nation’s immigration debate is pushing many Mexican immigrants to become citizens.

So California doesn’t have too many illegal immigrants, it just has too many Mexicans. Hilarious.

It was bound to happen. The only thing bashing and antagonism towards Mexican immigrants has inspired is mobilization, organization, and the adoption of the democratic values contained in our Constitution and Bill of Rights e.g. peaceful protest, citizenship, and Voting. Even as, shall we say, “traditional” Americans continue to neglect and or discard these values, the proud American sons and daughters of Mexican immigrants continue to learn about and embrace them even harder. The future looks bright for Califonria aka the 8th largest economy in the world thanks in large part to a young and vibrant population of New Americans.

>>>U.S. Census Bureau figures show that 70 percent of California’s Mexican population are U.S. citizens, blunting widespread belief the state is overrun by illegal immigrants.

V-E-R-R-Y Interesting! Now the next question is this: What percentage of all crimes committed in California are the work of Mexicans — regardless of whether they’re here legally or illegally? Please, U.S. Government, we’re breathlessly waiting for a (truthful) answer this time.

Those of you wanting to believe the U.S. census figures might care to think about this: On what basis does the government claim any real accuracy Given the automatic reflexive lying of Hispanics, the automatic refusal NOT to speak to anyone claiming to represent the government. Or to simply play dumb (a joke in itself) and claim not to know any illegal residents.

What with those tunnels, various and sundry border crossing points (mostly unguarded, of Cuss!), believing that as much as 70% of California’s Mexicans are here legally… well, maybe you might want to talk to me. I can make you a fantastic deal on a New York bridge. Even providing you with a faxed document of ownership after your check cleared the bank.

I have no reason to trust these numbers. As one who is close to such database, I know that the info is collected by questioning. In this case I surprised that not all Mexicans in the USA and Mexico as well claim American citizenship. Nevertheless, it is not the main point. Whatever the status of these ‘citizens’ may be they hate America and do everything to destroy its power and wellbeing, and it is their main point.

Mexican Anchor Baby “U.S. Citizenship” is truly the Great Insanity of the 21st century. The lack of action by our useless Washington Representatives in the face of a DELIBERATE MEXICAN DEMOGRAPHICS ATTACK shows that they are nothing more than traitors in the pockets of business.

They are in large part responsible for the housing market slump in America right now. Housing is outrageous in California, yet still they have been allowed subprime loans, which has led to foreclosures, not just in California, but all over the country.

If I can believe this “statistical report,” then California is still swarming with 30 percent ILLEGAL ALIENS!

The obvious but unanswered question: how many of that 70% are anchor babies?

Posted by at 9:28 PM on November 9

This is a tragedy, as these “so called” Mexican-Americans have dual citizenship and can vote in both countries. No U.S. citizenship should be given to immigrants that come from countries that allow dual citizenship to influence our U.S. government and vote to use the U.S. Constitution against real red, white, and blue patriot Americans. No hyphenated-Americans.

Posted by Sue at 9:55 PM on November 9

Alex at 8:53 PM is correct.

Before you buy this story, hook, line and sinker, realize how the census is taken: by questioning the residents of a given area. No one has to prove anything. Whatever the respondent says is what the census taker writes down.

Does anyone really expect an illegal to admit that to a pseudo-government worker?

Posted by BEA at 10:04 PM on November 9

It’s funny how they can “come out of the shadows” to be counted for these types of surveys.

And BTW how many of these “US citizens” are actually illegal anchor babies?

The CalMex “boom in births”-= subsidized by White America. There wouldn’t be a mexican baby boom if ‘our’ government wasn’t forcing us to subsidize their irresponsible breeding habits.

Illegal immigrant philosophy: We had three kids that everyone else had to support so we decided to have three more.

What a deceitful statics!

Mexican volume baby makers are the ones who produce the vast majority of these “citizens”. Due to gross misinterpretation of the so-called “birthright citizenship” clause of 14th Amendment, children of illegal aliens are being awarded automatic US citizenship although they are not “subject to jurisdiction [of the U.S.] and, therefore, are ineligible for the U.S. citizenship by birth.

In other words, we are being overrun by Mexican illegals, with proviso that they are in the process of pre-empting our country from us. The 70% mentioned in the article is really scary.

A call to arms is very much in order.

The real issue here is welfare. If we cut off welfare to these people, how many of them would stay? No welfare would result in a mass exodus. It really is as simple as that.

Ridiculous. It’s not like illegal immigration is driving the demographics, now, is it? How many of those Mexican-“Americans” got amnesty in 1986, or are descended from those that did, or were anchor babies themselves?

The dishonesty is nauseating.

In the 50’s and 60’s, Mexican Americans made up about 4% of the school population in southern California. Are you going to tell me that natural birh rates among legal citizens boosted that figure to about 60%.

The Mexican baby boom makes me think about the headline in the liberal Rand Daily Mail thirty years ago. The headline was “Zulu Baby Boom”. The Rand Daily Mail is history and you know what happened to South Africa.

Don’t allow the same to happen to the United States. The world won’t be livable without a benign white superpower.

This certainly illustrates how bad the anchor baby problem is.

Anchor Babies should be the number one immigration issue of concern for citizens. Next should be chain migration. Cutting off welfare, education, food stamps, medical care to illegals - yes of course this means their CHILDREN! Their presence is affecting the quality of life for our citizen’s children.

Your post points out how provisions of our constitution meant to protect us can also be used against us by an alien group.

To pose an extreme analogy, if you happen to have a rule in your family that everyone gets equal portions at the dinner table, you would not feel obligated to extend this rule to any stranger who shows up at the door asking for a handout or for work.

And by the way, isn’t it illegal under U.S. law for a U.S. citizen to also be a citizen of another country? And yet these Mexicans are allowed to retain their Mexican citizenship in addition to acquiring U.S. citizenship. Possibly I’m misinformed about U.S. law here, but if not, this is another illegality that seems to be seldom mentioned.

Like I pointed out in my above post, these figures are about as valid and meaningful as one of my two dogs breaking wind. I’d suspect the ONLY hispanics counted as being LEGITIMATE citizens are their anchor babies. With our taxpayers ultimately being saddled with the bills for those illegals’ brats.

When will ALL of our people wake up out of their stupor and realize the cost of that so-called, cheap labor is all smoke and mirror trickery. The number of drunken driving accidents, by Hispanics (legal OR illegal), are more than outrageous. Ask your insurance company how much they shell out a year, for accidents with uninsured (illegal Hispanic) motorists alone.

What people are missing is that Asians of the red-yellow Mongoloian race as they were classified for ages by the worlds anthropologists and scientists are by far the largest in population as the largest nation of yellow China has over 1.3 billion while red India has 900 million.
Mexicans are of the red Mongolian race as their indian ancestors crossed the Bering Strait 1000s of yrs ago and migrated to the tip of what is now Chile in South America as obviously they are very mobile peasant race and crossing the border in America was nothing.

Why have they arrived in such massive numbers under Bush? Obviously the word got out that a blood relative was in the WH and for the past 7 yrs America has seen 50 million of these ex-Asian migrants who never owned America and were labeled Aztecs before Spain conquered them 500 yrs ago and forced them to speak white man tongue Spanish and learn his religion and culture.

Mexico only came into existence after 350 yrs of Spainish rule, 175 yrs ago when they gained their independence and renamed themselves Mexico from their 350 yr old name New Spain.

From observation in California I can tell you that Central and S. American illegal immigration is rampant. The truth is, the Mexican anchor babies are American born. But the employers have been going farther and farther south for their cheap labor.

I can tell just by looking at them that most of the hispanic food, construction and garden workers are tiny rain forest Indians from Central America rather than 5’7 male and 5’2 female metizo Mexican Indians.

Since Mr. Taylor was assaulted in Canada, what sort of security arrangements are being made for the conference? Also what sort of liability do these organizations and websites have? It seems clear that they are encouraging their members to violent confrontation, their bogus disclaimers aside.

Here’s a direct quote from one of these Stalinist groups, “Resistance and Solidarity, a DC-based collective opposing racism, fascism and the cruelties perpetrated by the capitalist system, is calling on Mid-Atlantic anti-fascists to join us, Saturday February 23 at 9am for a day full of actions (in many forms) to protest the racist hate spouted by the AmRen National Conference. The other thing that I take issue with ENDURING AND other people I have heard, when California is discussed is how large the actuall economy is. I most recently heard someone say California is the 6th largest economy in the world, about two years ago I heard it was the 9th largest, and someone even once spouted off how it was the 5th largest.

Conclusions about the size of Californias economy:

1)No one really knows.

2)Whatever is quoted is done so for political or other reasons.

P.S. My own observations based on observing the U.S. economy as a whole, and how deeply in trouble it is, leads me to ask just what does it mean to say that Californias economy is a certain size? We know one thing, it is being kept afloat as I write this only thru the issuing of billions in bonds and BONDS=DEBT.

California is already 48% “hispanic” (i.e. Mexican) despite a steady stream of INcoming white flight from the east. They don’t seem to mind. If anything their biggest complaints are reserved for white Californians. In any case, NObody except the lazy, non-talented, non-skilled leave California. “Go West Young Man” remains the clarion call for the the hardworking, ambitious, talented, and/or skilled. Assorted bigots and xenophobes have been spouting off with their paranoid “illegal alien” armageddon scenarios since at least the early 80s. It’s now 2007 and Still No Decline. In fact, during that time California has enjoyed incredible surpluses that only came to an end due to the utilities fiasco (“illegal alien” plot?) for which almost exclusively corrupt Anglos were responsible.

Meanwhile, “Can we walk into Mexico and live there? Can we go there and steal their cars and commit crimes?” Yes. It was called the Mexican American War and resulted in the “acquisition” at gunpoint of almost half of Mexico’s sovereign territory. The same land in which the presence of Mexicans is now being disputed(!?). Face it, when it comes to respecting sovereign borders and/or tribal boundaries, this country’s history and recent foreign policy precludes any self-righteous grandstanding by its leaders or citizens.

I’m sick of moralizing of all sorts. My simple position: It’s them against us, and I’m for us.

Even if we were the WORSE race on earth, we would still be US, and we should fight for US!

I have a friend who is more racially aware than most, but fusses with himself over incommensurables like, “blacks are violent inside the U.S., but look at the violence the U.S. has carried out in foreign countries.”

Very separate problems, except for moralists. At home, we’re in a contest for SURVIVAL, not for determination of who has the most virtue—good grief!

The moralizing “anti-racists,” who want to shelter the entire suffering world under the protective umbrella of their own virtue, should be crying, “Forgive us Lord, for we know not what we do,” as they continue to nail us all to their cross.

If some other races/cultures have solved SOME of the problems of how humans can live on the earth better than we have (and I believe they have), then maybe we can learn from them and improve our own culture, just as the japanese learned modern technology from us BUT WITHOUT FEELING THEY HAD TO INVITE US INTO THEIR HEARTH AND HOME AND DILUTE THEIR OWN CULTURE. The Japanese have been the masters at maintaining real diversity in the world (by maintaining the identity of their own culture), and at the same time reaping its benefits!

We need skilled workers who are highly educated and not grunt labor. We need brains to compete with Asia. Let’s work together to at least limit immigration to only highly skilled workers for starters and later see how many actual immigrants we need for survival and limit it to that amount. I am not so concerned about race but about how much they can be beneficial to the economy and how well they can be assimilated.

We don’t need more immigrants from south of the border, Africa, Haiti, Cuba, Caribbean, South East Asia and other 3rd world places. We have enough low and unskilled workers right in the US. I have no problems with foreign students or visitor workers but not to stay and become legal unless they have valued skill, not what US workers can do.

Talk about a post in absolute contradiction to reality, this one takes first prize. Apparently ENDURING would have us think the hospitals hovering at bankruptcy, the incessant street crime (by Hispanic/Latino gangs), the endless problems posted by Californa AmRen readers — are simply “made up.”

I can’t help wondering if “ENDURING” is just a shill for one of the immigration advocacy groups. That comment he(she?) made on the Mexican American War, for example. While originally Americans were welcome in the Mexican owned territories, the Mexican Government simply regarded them as a buffer against marauding Indian tribes. Repressing Americans with harsh laws and regulations. Yes, we accepted those territories as part of the Treaty of Hidalgo. But we also PAID Mexico $15 BILLION IN GOLD — voluntarily. Something ENDURING forgot to bring up. Anyone care to do the math — convert $15 Billion in Gold into today’s currency? Or explain WHY, if Americans are so inherently wrong and evil, the damned illegals stream here in droves?

Wonder also if ENDURING can read the crime reports — many of them spotlighted right here on this website. Crimes by Hispanic immigrants (makes little difference to their victims, whether the perps are here legally OR illegally, right?). Or those horror stories about drunken driving accidents — the carnage, fatalities by drunken, UNINSURED, OF COURSE, Hispanic drivers. I cah only assume, per ENDURING’s claims, the bad news coming out of California must be little more than more Hollywood fiction?

Like I said, it’s been a while since we were spoon-fed so many outright lies, distortions and half-truths in a single posting. Could ENDURING possibly be a nom de plum for Hillary Clinton, or that other liberal fool of a senator, Feinstein?

“…A review of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo reveals that the United States paid Mexico $15 million over a five-year period with interest…”

”..We assumed and eliminated Mexico’s European debt with France, England, Germany and Portugal…”

”..And during the century and a half plus since the U.S. and Mexico signed the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, we have done—and continue to do—- some very nice things for Mexicans who decided to stay North…”

And this:

”..That was not the first time that Mexico lost territory. Upon independence in 1821, Central America had been part of Mexico, but Mexico lost that territory in the 1820s. Funny, I never hear about a Mexican “reconquista” of Central America…”

And lastly:

“…But the inescapable facts remain unchanged. Mexico fought and lost a war; it signed a treaty and accepted money from the U.S. Nowhere is it stated that Mexicans have the right to enter the U.S. illegally because of perceived violations committed under a treaty signed 150 years ago…”

As to your comment:

“…despite a steady stream of INcoming white flight from the east. They don’t seem to mind. If anything their biggest complaints are reserved for white Californians. In any case, NObody except the lazy, non-talented..”

You must be talking about the Easterners who immediately move into the MANY MANY newly gated, security-guarded ultra-expensive housing complexes that are springing up all over So. Cal.

Gee, why do YOU think 24-hour security guards, iron gates and cameras have suddenly become so in demand in California?

It’s easy to make snarky comments from behind the safety of one’s securely-garded, camera-guarded, 24-hour ARMED response-guarded complex, isn’t it?

I have lived in California for over five decades and I have NEVER EVER heard Easterners—newly arrived or not—complain about ‘White’ Americans—if anything (ONCE THEY GET BEHIND CLOSED DOORS) they complain (rightly) about the many hospital closings due to un-insured illegal immigrants flooding emergency rooms and maternity wards, un-insured, often drunk illegal immigrant drivers causing death and destruction on our roads, schools turned into violent hell-holes that YOUR children cannot attend, large areas of Los Angeles that have been ethnically cleansed of Whites through government actions (mostly crime-ridden Section 8 housing, which itself is finally being cleared out to much fanfare in the valley area)
and especially out-of-sight taxes and insurance to pay for those who breed irresponsibly, drive irresponsibly and expect YOU (remember the government doesn’t have any money) to pay for it all—and if you don’t you are a Nazi, racist or bigot.

Funny how those White leftist change their tune once they are behind closed doors.

It was called the Mexican American War and resulted in the “acquisition” at gunpoint of almost half of Mexico’s sovereign territory.

This is utterly absurd anti-American propaganda.

Here are some facts.

(The following are excerpts from and article VENOM IN THE NEWS posted at:

http://geocities.com/readerswrite/commentaries/Venom_in_news.htm )

Although the U.S. easily conquered Mexico City [in 1846], rather than taking advantage of its tactical superiority the U.S. generously paid Mexican government almost 20 million dollars for Mexico’s giving up its claims to vast and sparsely inhabited land that was Mexican mostly on the paper only, and only for about 24 years.

It has been estimated that only about 1% of total Mexican population was living in what is now known as the American Southwest, and their proportion among native populations in that region was of the same raw of magnitude (few percent, that is). In particular, there were no more than few thousands of Mexicans among some 300,000 of natives in (what is now) California at that time; some sources strongly suggest that the number of Mexicans of non-European ancestry in California at less than 1,000 living in three pueblos, one of them being Los Angeles - quite a flimsy excuse for claiming it a “Mexican historic land”.

The claims to the Southwest that Mexico renounced in 1848 have originated in 1821 when Spanish Empire collapsed and Mexican Empire was born. It claimed for itself rights to Spanish “American colonies” and that included vast territories stretching from today’s Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and Texas down to Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. The claims were left largely unconsumed because Mexico, plagued with corruption and government overturns, was unable to establish any meaningful control of these territories, never mind developing them or organizing them into a functioning country.

The very foundation of Mexican Empire’s grandiose claims to Southwest as being part of the former Spanish American “territories” that Mexico gave herself the right to, was of dubious legitimacy as well. Spaniards were notorious for claiming everything that no one else claimed, and that was way more that they could swallow. Although Pope Alexander VI, shortly after Columbus discovered America in 1492, issued Bull Inter Caetera that gave Spain the right to a Western part of the new lands, Spaniards’ permanent presence in the Southwestern U.S. was marginal and their efforts to control the region begun only about 50 years before the Spanish Empire collapsed in 1821.

To make a long story short, a pope gave half of North America to Spain, which “right” (that existed, mostly, on the paper only) Mexican Empire granted to itself in 1821. In 1822, Spain deemed that self-grant, and the Empire itself, illegal, null, and void, and about one year later, Southern provinces (a.k.a. United Provinces of Central America) seceded from it. In 1824, newly proclaimed Republic of Mexico declared the Mexican Empire void, too. However, the new Republic gave itself the “right” to all North American “territories” that the Empire had claimed. After several but mostly unsuccessful attempts by various governments and juntas in Mexico City to take these “provinces” under control, a few revolutions of their residents against these attempts, secession of Texas in 1836, and a war lost to the U.S. in 1848, Mexico finally gave up the last of her imperial efforts to subdue former Spanish colonies and ceded to the U.S. her mostly unconsumed claims to the American Southwest, for which renouncement she took from the U.S government almost $20 million in cash.

It is of utmost importance to note here that the value of that land in 1848 was marginal, and in no meaningful relationship to the value of this land today. The entire region consisted of undeveloped and inhabitable wilderness with relatively few established settlements and no economy or agriculture that might be worth of mentioning. The sole source of the astronomic value of this land today was the infrastructure that Americans built on it (paved roads, bridges, towns, cities, buildings, you name it) and proximity of strong American economy serving the needs of highly advanced, civilized American society.

The article ends with a pointed joke regarding U.S. pre-empting “Mexican” land. “A long time ago, Americans took half the country from us,” said one Mexican. “But that’s only half as bad as it really is” - he added. “They took the half that had all the paved roads in it.”

“I’m sorry but why should anyone believe the following: “U.S. Census Bureau figures show that 70 percent of California’s Mexican population are U.S. citizens”?” — juandos

Excellent point! The estimates of illigals in the U.S. range anywhere from 10 to 35 million — it’s all dependent upon who’s doing the estimating. With such disparities as that, why should anybody give credibility to the statistics put forth by the U.S. Census Bureau? Especially since we know the government will grossly understate the number of illigals for political purposes.

It is not numbers that are important in citizenship but ” quality “; south of the border illegals or legal(?) immigrants are not of European quality, they consume more then they produce in our society. The ” Gringo Golden Goose ” is slowly but surely being cooked since the treasonous, racist, non-representative 1965 Immigration and Reform Act by the demo-rat-ic traitorous party.

I live in Los Angeles. I can tell you the other posters here saying it’s the “anchor babies’ that are the “citizens” are correct. I can also tell you that this “story” is just another flat out lie. We are buried under illegal alien criminals from South of where our border used to be. There is an interesting local blog that someone who lives here writes and he posted pictures he took himself. The pictures show what most of L.A. and most of L.A. county look like now. There must be 20 million illegal aliens from Mexico and South and Central America in Southern California right now, I am not exaggerating. There is also little doubt our government is doing all that it can to ensure their comfort and facilitate rapid breeding among this new slave class that will never be able to overthrow their masters. Here are the links to the blogger’s posts with pictures: http://lasucksbigtime.blogspot.com/2007_08_23_archive.html and http://lasucksbigtime.blogspot.com/2007_08_28_archive.html
You don’t even have to read the blog, just look at the pictures that were all taken in Los Angeles and at Venice Beach. That’s what they want to do to your neighborhood.

“About ten months ago the director of “A Christmas Story” was killed in LA by a drunk driver. The drunk driver was an illegal immigrant, of course. I thought that the senseless death of the director of a beloved movie would ignite a firestorm. Instead, the public’s reaction was: nada.”

> Interesting that I was already thinking this when I came upon this post; much of California’s economy is due to the film industry. Between the increasing problems in SoCal and CA in general, and the fact that more and more movies are being made further north in places like BC, Canada, the days of old Hollywood may indeed be numbered. Just imagine the cultural and financial sinkhole that SoCal will become when “Hollywood” finally completes its dispersion. I have long thought that this is inevitable.

Amren Reader, you are correct in saying the U.S. government is doing all they can to ensure their comfort. The bitter truth is, that California has taken in hundreds of billions if not trillions of dollars in the past 35 years since the liberal/progressives took over the state. The result is DECAY. Decay everywhere you care to look. Crumbling roads and highways, rusting pipes and outdated sewer systems, resulting in constant contamination of the local beaches…schools unpainted and uncared for, taxes among the highest in the nation.

Why? Where did all of the money go in the last thrity-five years. Well, much went into the pockets of over paid bureaucrats, and much more went to try and fill the bottomless pit, known as social services, which were always out of control in California. Shortly after the liberal/progressives took control, people used to drive around in the late sixties and early seventies with license plates that read,” Welcome to California the Welfare State.” Later the phrase,”Now go home was added”. This was at a time before there were 8 million illegal aliens in the state. Does this paint a picture of what is happening now? It should? Why do you think that the state is only kept running by the issuing of billions, billions of dollars in bonds. Nothing can sate the bottomless pit that is illegal immigration from the corrupt but rich nation of Mexico.

Posted by Fed Up at 6:44 PM on November 10 - With our taxpayers ultimately being saddled with the bills for those illegals’ brats.

Are you suggesting that those macho Mexican men are not “man” enough to support and raise their own children, and must rely on white men to do it for them? Are you calling those strutting “roosters”, “chicken” - or just “girly men”?

Posted by at 8:07 PM on November 13

Where do they get these numbers? The “undocumented” by definition cannot be accounted for. So, they’re counting those that participate in the census. Which means they’re missing millions and millions…

I went to the blog listed by “Amren Reader”. There is an article there about illegals and drunk driving that mentions the director of “A Christmas Story”, Bob Clark, killed by an illegal alien who was drunk. The illegal was driving a brand new SUV. Things are out of control. The link to the story on illegals and their penchant for DWI - http://lasucksbigtime.blogspot.com/2007/09/dwi.html

The author offers “tips” for driving in Southern California.

>>>Are you calling those strutting “roosters”, “chicken” - or just “girly men”?

(Chuckle, chuckle)

How about we call them what they REALLY ARE — freeloading parasites and thieves! Certainly a fitting description for probably 95% of Mexicans in our country. Fitting, in that if they don’t fall into the thievery (criminal) category, they sure as hell deserve to be lumped into the parasites category.

But then it’s been pointed out innumerable times — that Hispanics COST American Taxpayers a bunch of money. Also that there are one hell of a lot of criminals (of every kind) among the illegal immigrants.

Our Hispanic ‘friends’ love to parrot the line that “America being a nation of immigrants.” That may well be, but statistically the percentage of CRIMINALS among the European immigrants is a damned sight lower than the percentage of criminals found among our present-day ILLEGAL HISPANIC IMMIGRANTS! But don’t forget, we Americans are not supposed to THINK like that — because publically admitting this ugly and inconvenient truth would mean we’re racists. Right, friends?

“Apparently ENDURING would have us think the hospitals hovering at bankruptcy” (not in East Los Angeles) “the incessant street crime by Hispanic/Latino gangs” (another distinctly American tradition e.g. Gangs of New York) … While originally Americans were welcome in the Mexican owned territories (AFter swearing an oath of loyalty to the Mexican Republic; converted to Catholicism; and accepting Mexican citizenship) the Mexican Government simply regarded them (and established Mexicans) as a buffer against marauding Indian tribes. Repressing Americans(?) with harsh laws and regulations (resulting in Brazen and Calculated TREASON). Yes, we accepted(!?!?) those territories as part of the Treaty of Hidalgo. But we also PAID Mexico $15 BILLION IN GOLD — voluntarily(!?!?)”. In the “The Godfather” this type of “transaction” is referred too as “an offer they can’t refuse” i.e. Mexico had steadfastly REJECTED several American offers for purchasing their land; at which point Polk shamelessly provoked a war (the outrage of US Senators is well-documented); invaded Mexico; committed assorted atrocities against Mexican citizens; marched on the Mexican capitol; promptly put a gun to the head of a Mexican government; and “volunteered” to “accept” Mexican territory in exchange for “gold” and a “treaty” that Mexican citizens Never Wanted, Asked For, or Accepted. Once again, this country’s history and recent foreign policy precludes any self-righteous grandstanding by its leaders or citizens.

Nonetheless, I must commend H. Dumpty for his candor e.g. “I’m sick of moralizing of all sorts. My simple position: It’s them against us, and I’m for us. Even if we were the WORSE race on earth, we would still be US, and we should fight for US!” If only all like-minded Americans were as transparent as Dumpty, they might also avoid the ridiculous spectacle of trying to assume the moral high-ground but at least they would have their integrity.

Posted by ENDURING at 4:52 PM on November 14

Ridiculous spectacle? There’s nothing ridiculous about putting your own people’s consideration first, Enduring. Mexicans and blacks our outspoken in support of their own people (need I list the organizations?). Whites can, and increasingly do, play the same game.

You’re quite right, though: it’s not “illegal” hispanics whites object to, it’s hispanics. That’s why mendacious gobbledook like

““California has reached a steady state with regard to immigration,” said Dowell Myers, a demographer at the University of Southern California. “The number of new foreign-born arrivals is being offset by the number of babies who are being born here and the number of parents who are naturalizing.””

doesn’t fly with racially aware whites. “Steady state”, indeed. Hilarious.

“In fact, during that time California has enjoyed incredible surpluses that only came to an end due to the utilities fiasco (“illegal alien” plot?) for which almost exclusively corrupt Anglos were responsible.”

What have you been smoking? Today’s (11/16) lead story in the Los Angeles Times was 14 BILLION DEFICIT this year.
