Let me repeat that.
In the United States, of all the children in foster care, 60 percent are black.
African-Americans are 60 percent of the foster children and 12 percent of the general population. That’s a 500-percent over representation.
In ballpark terms, that means a black child is five times more likely to end up in foster care than the average American child. When you take black children out of the national average, blacks are in the neighborhood of 11 times more likely to be foster children than non-blacks.

It’s because there is a broad-based collapse of the black family in America. And if things are ever going to get better, African-American leaders are going to have to switch their emphasis from defending black America to changing black America.
There needs to be a reformation and a renewal of black America, with a change of emphasis from victimization to individual responsibility.
This isn’t offered as a criticism, but as a lifeline. Not a condemnation, but as a way out of a crisis. Not because I hate blacks, but because I love them.
Because I am haunted by the thought of those African-American kids in foster care, and the lonely isolation and deprivation of natural affection they must feel. The babies who need holding and the young tears that need to be dried. The kids who never really get a chance, who never really get the most basic of birthrights – a mom and a dad and a loving home.
And I am saddened by what those children must almost unavoidably become – alienated from society and deprived of its opportunities, wards first of the state and then of the welfare and prison systems. It is a cancer wherever it exists, but it exists with butchering disproportion in the black community.
And only the black community can change that. And the preachers must lead.
The black church, long touted as the anchor of the African-American community, is in abject failure. Its efforts are apparently so overwhelmed as to be fruitless. There is much preaching of the word, but little living of the word, and consequently few blessings of the word.
The black clergy must change that. They must demand not only to be heard by their community, but followed. Not in the paths of civil rights conflict and peace and justice causes, but in the simple and clear lifestyle of Christ. They must preach the gospel of God, not the gospel of men.
They must preach the virtuous and faithful life. Lying, stealing and idleness must be denounced. Marriage and family must be exalted, and out-of-wedlock sex and children must be scorned. In a community where two-thirds of the children are born to single mothers, is it any wonder such astounding numbers end up abused and neglected and dumped into foster care.
The culture must be changed. It must stop being worshipped, it must be replaced.
And prominent African-Americans – in sports, entertainment, business and politics – must act with public dignity. The bad example of a few – through destructive lifestyles, drug use and disrespectful and dissolute living – does tremendous damage to many.
A theme of good living must permeate the African-American popular culture. Instead of drugs, violence and sex, the community’s entertainment and standards must be directed toward bettering real lives in the real world. And the obsession with white racism should be replaced with a focus on black power – black power to choose to live lives with better, freer and happier outcomes.
And all of this must come from within. There is no government program, no amount of money, no outside mentoring or education, no non-profit crusade, no nothing that will do a bit of good – except the strong, righteous and wise leadership of black moms and dads, pastors and mayors.

Yes, where are the ‘black leaders’? Again, why is a white person having to point out black failings to blacks? Where is Operah? Where is Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton? On the issue of Parental Responsibility, No where to be found.

The only reason there was such a thing as intact Black families is that White society did not tolerate jivesters. If a Black wanted any respect at all from Whites, he’d better not have 5 kids by 3 women. The smarter Blacks, the so-called “talented tenth”, knew who was making life harder than it had to be, so there was some effort made to rein in Black sexuality. But once White liberals decided that Blacks were role models to be admired and subsidized, the jivesters slipped the leash, to resume the honored place they once held in their African motherland.

This is the difference between Booker T. Washington’s efforts and De Bois’. Booker T. Washington counseled hard work and education and making a worthwhile contribution to be accepted. De Bois preached that white discrimination was the cause of blacks’ poor performance. We’ve seen who was proven right. Too bad - they’ve wasted over a hundred years.

The Great Society programs didn’t destroy the black family - they subsidized the black family’s re-Africanization. They freed blacks to be themselves.

Most black women select Baby Daddy’s, not husbands, to father their kid’s. And as un-PC as it might be to add this, it’s not at all uncommon for one women to have 4 children all fathered by different men. Black women often say it is because Black men will not accept responsibility. This may well be true? But they also need to accept responsiblity for their actions as well. But that is the problem with the black community, they are always blaming someone else for their own actions.

You guys that comment on why the writer says he loves blacks are missing an important point. By professing to hate blacks you are falling into the trap that the left wing has set up. But by seriously criticising the fact that many blacks are not good members of society and the reasons are because of x, y & z, all the truth of course, but then saying that your criticisms are made because it is the only way for the blacks to better themselves and become good members of society. Thus the justified criticisms are legally and morally made publicly with any shouts of “white racism” from the black racists being stopped before they can start.
I will give you an example which I hold dear. I lived in South Africa for 25 years until I left in 1999 because of the collapse of the moral society there and the fact that in 10 - 25 years it will be another Zimbabwe. There was a beautiful country called Rhodesia which was a protectorate (colony) of the United Kingdom, but when the UK decided to get out of Africa in the 1960s, the country was being very well run by a white government who were gradually educating the blacks who were being given work and not only did no one starve there, but there were schools and hospitals roads being built and so on. The currency, the Rhodesian$ was worth more than the US$ at that time. Everyone enjoyed all the benefits of a well managed western run society. But the British government, the Labour Party (democrats?) being in power at the time, decided that democracy must start when they left and that meant majority rule. Mugabe seized the opportunity with his Soviet backing, publicly murdering hundreds of blacks to force them to support his terrorists, and the rest is history. The crying (literally) shame about it was, as with South Africa more recently, the whites who lived there and understand first hand the situation, forecast what would happen if the blacks took over, and it has in one short generation of 27 years.
Now my letters to the Press and elsewhere such as in my web-site at www.spainvia.com, while castigating the black leaders for destroying their countries, always includes my sincere regrets for the millions of blacks that are returning to the old days where life expectancy is down again to 35 - 40 years (75 - 80 under the whites) and the new leaders are extremely rich (while the pot has cookies in it) while the black poor get poorer every month. Starvation is a way of life now in Zimbabwe for the majority who are not in Mugabe’s political party.
Get the picture? While we acknowledge that there is a serious provable problem with the black average IQ that restricts the majority of them from progress to the top jobs in a western society, and only black racists and white apologists will say there is and then come up with silly reasons that have now been found to be wrong (privileged schooling, etc) for the fact thus acknowledging it anyway, thus the justified criticism cannot be denied as long as it is based on facts.
Those of us who just blindly go on about the situation shouting blacks are stupid without this “escape clause” cause the Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons rub to rub their hands in glee at the prospect of more cash coming into them as they justify their “missions”.

Dear Mr Taylor
The above article actually understates the overrepresentation of Black children in foster care. Their overepresentation is 5 times when compared to the national average, but the national average includes the blacks. The black overrepresentation compared to non-blacks is (60/12)/(40/88) = 11.1. Of course, the black population is younger, so if we take that into account, the figure will drop somewhat.

American Whites nuture blacks when they are abandoned by their own kind as infants, they strive to educate them as children, they give them welfare, food, housing, they give them cushy, reserved jobs and college places, they give them medical treatment and hospitals etc, in short they provide everything…and what do they get back in return - their faces are spat upon, by those who would have perished in the most abject misery.

To the people picking on the “not because I hate blacks, but because I love them” line:
The man who wrote that is a Christian. Jesus told parables in which the “good guy” was a Samaritan, and Samaritans were the most despised ethnicity to the people Jesus was addressing.
Jesus told us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. And he told the parable of the Good Samaritan in response to the question “who is our neighbor?”
So Christ tells us to love everyone, white or black, Mexican or Jew. That doesn’t mean we have to want to be around them. It doesn’t mean we have to want our daughters to marry them. It doesn’t even mean we have to LIKE them. But we have to love them, in the sense of wanting what is best for them.
And clearly, what would be best for our black neighbors is to follow the advice given in the above article, which they sadly will never read… or if they do read it, they will condemn it as white racism.
If we, as whites, speak the truth we will be called racists. But if we love our neighbor, we MUST speak the truth. Jesus warned us that if we speak His truth we will be hated. We must do it anyway.

Funny how liberals think there are zero differences between blacks and whites - yet they never remotely consider the possibility that it should be the responsibility of blacks to change their condition.
Nope, liberals always expect whites to fix all of the problems of blacks.
And if we don’t, then their failures are blamed on white inaction.
If we act and fail, then they say we didn’t try hard enough - and of course also our fault.
And even when the failures can be directly linked to the behaviors of blacks - they STILL blame whites, because we somehow didn’t convince them well enough to follow our instructions correctly!
How the hell did the most powerful nation on earth, and probably the most powerful in the known history of the human race, so quickly and completely fall for such a ridiculous concept as racial egalitarianism?
No other nation in history, certainly any of the successful ones, ever fell for such nonsense.

Blacks are well aware of their dysfunctional behavior. They just don’t like to admit to it or discuss it in public. That’s why they use the phrase ‘air our dirty laundry’.
Until blacks own up to their problems and admit that, maybe, just maybe, some of their problems are self-inflicted can they begin to find solutions.
Since blacks don’t want to publicly air their dirty laundry, there’s little hope that they can honestly discuss their issues and find solutions. So long as their leadership tells them and they believe ‘racism’ and its legacy is the problem, there is no hope for blacks moving on.

I have read that black marriage had to do with farming. A small sharecropper or farmer needed kids to help with the work. He needed kids so that he could sometimes earn cash by working for bigger farmers while the kids did the work at home.
Farmers need a partner, usually a wife.
And there really was no place for a single woman and couch potato kids who wouldn’t do a lick of work in farming. So the women needed farmer husbands, or common law husbands.
A single woman could support herself with jobs other than farming, but she couldn’t support too many disfunctional kids.
But when they moved to the cities there was really no need to have a partner and raise kids.
It is also the W. African pattern. Married women are allotted a few acres and animals. They build the hut, plant a garden and raise the animals. The men contribute only the land.
It is just reversion to the ancient African ways.

I am 67 years old. I have been hearing about this since I think 4th grade when Sister Mary so and so told us about how all the poor little black children in the south were not allowed in public swimming pools, and had to go to all black schools and were so poor and deprived.

They are too busy leading the vicious thugs who beat those White women last Halloween to the Weisenthal Center for their Hate Whiteness classes, and following Sharpton to Jena and everywhere else a vicious black thug is on trial for trying to murder a White.
Our county had an entire crew of black preachers who came to sentencing hearings and testified that the thug “was a good boy, I’ve known him all my life, he in the youth group, he is in counseling, he sings in the choir and baby sits for the little kids on Sunday.”
We squelched that. We just put the Mamma on the stand. First we did a little spiel about perjury and the dire consequences of lying in court. We did it quietly and matter of fact, not threatening at all.
Then we asked, now Ms Mamma, how much did you pay Reverend Simony to come to court today?
Mamma would answer, well, I paid him $300.00.
And when did you meet Rev Simony?
Let me see. Oh about 2 weeks ago.

Would Mr. Lonsberry prefer that they remain with their parents to be killed after years of torture?
Mr. Lonsberry fails to recognize that the welfare foster care system is a major source of alternative to welfare government jobs for blacks and other disfunctional minorities.
The basic black industry is creating black disfunction and then coercing Whites to pay blacks to cure the disfunction.
The disfunction only gets worse.
Like a mechanic who slices all your hoses and fanbelts halfway through knowing you’ll be back for more belts and hoses in a month.
But the Whites keep paying and paying and paying.

They will villify you and call you racist for saying it, but the fact remains: Black people have to change THEIR behavior. White people are not holding them down anymore. There is still some racism, but It’s not to the level that it once was, and it is certainly not strong enough to keep Blacks from succeeding. Black people have got to improve themselves. Stop blaming all of your problems on racism and start taking responsibility for the actions of your own people.

Stories like this are the main reason I’ve become very ambivalent about the abortion issue. Something like 40% of abortions in the US are black babies. If only whites were involved, I would feel much more strongly against legalized abortion. It’s hard to get angry about a procedure that helps to produce fewer thugs.

The Africans are the only race on earth to produce unwanted children. They always have a surplus - others have a shortage. Throughout time and space there is a perfect correlation between quality of life and the presence of blacks. It seems hopeless to expect any better.

Is this an issue of which race has more undesired babies, or is it an issue of which race’s babies are more adoptable? White American babies are in big demand - this may mean few end up in foster care. I guarantee you that the question of how adoptable a baby will be is not on the minds of any of the baby-makers when they are in the act of making babies.

There is just as much corruption with black preachers, as there is among whites.JJ and AS are prime examples.
And,yes,I too believe that black children in foster care,are better off.I worked in the foster care program in Louisiana for 13yrs.All foster parents must attend regular classes to keep their cerification.All homes are visited by state OCS,many times,unannounced,to check on the homes.Your certification begins with a background police check.So, the black families who are foster parents,have to pass muster,just like whites,to be qualified.This means,usually a two parent home, dad must have stable job.Moms are usually stay at homes.It’s a very rigorous standards one has too stand up too. So, yes, black children are better off in foster homes,if their own won’t do.

Lots of luck getting the black “clergy” to change “the hood.” Alot of the “clergy” are nothing but glorified thugs themselves!!! When I lived in Houston tx., the black “clergy” were the ones responsible for stirring-up racial tensions thru-out the city. As an example, aren’t jack$on and $harpton clergy-boys???
