Two Black Men Knifed at Tremors

Leroy Standish, Victor Valley Daily Press (Cal.), May 16

VICTORVILLE — In what appears to be an escalating amount of racial violence in the Victor Valley, two black men were stabbed by several Hispanic men in front of Tremors Sports Bar and Grill early Sunday morning.

The victims’ wounds were not considered life threatening, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department deputies said. The attackers, only described as Hispanic males between the ages of 18 and 22, fled immediately after the incident and have not been arrested.

“We have had quite a bit of that recently — Hispanic on black gang-related attacks,” said Sgt. Kurt Lackman of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. “I could see it getting worse as the summer progresses.”
